I actually just bought this tonight. It was on the discontinued shelf at Harbor Freight for $26. The reviews are saying it will remove axle nuts which is pretty impressive. I needed something to rotate tires /lug nuts. I will sleep better now. Great.video. Cheers.
I purchased one of these a few months back and not only was it able to remove my lug nuts but it also removed my axle nut, with no problem. "Very much satisfied"
Hi Joel, glad to see you feeling better. I already own 2 DeWalt corded 1/2inch impacts . I bought them when I was building dairy barns to tighten up the bolts on the stalls. Harbor Freight opened up in town and when I go in it's like a kid in a candy store..I have Pittsburgh Forge socket sets from the early 80's that we still use today. That shows the quality! You take it easy dont rush that shoulder. Thank you and GOD BLESS.
Real Tool Reviews tested this impact wrench and it delivered 326 ft. lbs. in fwd and IIRC it was 321 ft. Lbs. in reverse, more than enough to loosen & tighten lug nuts, suspension parts, etc. Have had mine 3 yrs and won’t ever be without one again. Boat trailer, F-250, bush hog, tractor, it’s never failed me yet. I’ve used mine a lot and can say it’s the best $34 I’ve ever spent. 👍
I sometimes have a difficult time removing or installing sockets, i took some emery cloth sand paper and worked some of the rough edges and burrs to smooth it out and greased it and it snaps on and off nice and consistent
This is an excellent reveiw. Not just an unboxing and 1 time use review, but a full 4 years worth of use review. All I want to do is change the blades on my new zero turn mower. I think I'm going to purchase one after your review. Cheers.
Every DIYer should have one. Joel I know you went to the other side of that pin and tightened the nut using an open end wrench to lock the pin in so it wouldn't loosen up again.
When I was stationed in the Philippines ordered a 1/2 inch Chicago Electric Impact. Also the adapters , and sockets. All Harbor Freight. Used mostly on my Shovelhead. Still have it works good. I liked this video.
I have basically the cousin of that one and I was changing the blades on my little rider and since it’s a bloody three bladder, the one in the middle, I have to literally be underneath the whole tractor and I did not want to be under it because it was on a liftso with that one I could actually take one finger and hit a button and unscrew it then hand tighten it and then screw it back in
I changed the shocks and struts in my F150 a couple weeks ago and I did it by following along with a professional install video. The one thing they had that I didn't was an air impact wrench, I had to do it the old fashion way with hand tools. Today a friend was telling me that they had electric versions of the air impact wrench at Harbor Freight. So I looked at the HF website and I see the Chicago electric impact wrench you're using and I say to myself, "Hey, I think I have one of those." I look in my garage, and sure enough there it was. Damn, sure could have used that a couple weekends ago. :)
Total Failure. Apparently Seed does not do well in full sun. I tossed a bunch of spoon fulls of seed into the shady spots on the homestead and have all kinds of canes.
Just got me one took my tires off like a cake 🎂 quick love it
It is awesome
Just grabbed one for 25 at HF. Can't beat that. They are on clearance right now. Gonna open the box here in a bit for this project.
They work good. I bought a 2nd one the other day.

Yeah for the money I was very impressed. I have used the heck out of it.

As a previous shovel head owner.....you definitely need a good set of tools....
