      Hola seria bueno tener más opciones de ciudades bonitas y seguras de México. Una muy buena opción es Leon Guanajuato, ciudad cosmopolita, moderna y segura y con un clima templado excelente 🤩

    Merida sounds lovely and looks beautiful 😍 very informative video! We are looking for a place to live for 3 mos during the winter months in Canada (January - March). My husband is Canadian and we’ll be retiring to Winnipeg in a couple years and have been on the hunt for a place we can escape to during the winter! Would an Airbnb be our best option? Also, are there any special visa requirements we’d need to stay there for 3 mos? Thank you!

    • @yucatanrealestategroup
      @yucatanrealestategroup  7 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you for your comment, You're choosing a great time to visit. Airbnb will have the best options and the most inventory but there are also great Facebook groups and other websites with lots of great properties. If you send us an email to info@yucatanrealestategroup.com I would be more than happy to share a few helpful links with you. There are no visa requirements when visiting from Canada up to a 6-month stay.

      @yucatanrealestategroup  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment and glad you found it valuable! Gym memberships vary depending on what you’re looking for. The first option we shared on the more pricer side is for a family with access to gyms, pools, courts and much more. We also mentioned there are more affordable options such as Smart Fit which is a monthly rate of about $30 USD that most people find a great option! Hope this helps!

    It's definitely not a reasonably cheap place to live, compared to other areas of Mexico!

    • @yucatanrealestategroup
      @yucatanrealestategroup  6 месяцев назад +4

      You're right, places like Chiapas and other areas of Mexico are considerably cheaper. The safety and other aspects are compromised but definitely cheaper.
      Residents of Merida can still enjoy affordable living and housing around all budgets but the hyped areas of the city have drastically increased since the pandemic and will continue to do so.

    • @yucatanrealestategroup
      @yucatanrealestategroup  3 месяца назад

      The prices will range quite drastically depending on the location. Land in the north of the city is the most expensive. You can find other areas 50-60 mins away from the city where large properties in good condition are starting at $180,000 USD.
      Hope that helps! You cessage us if you need more information: wa.me/529997001820

      @yucatanrealestategroup  5 месяцев назад

      The costs range depending on the service.
      A walk in clinic can be as low as 60 pesos to consult.
      Medicine is fairly priced and higher end clinics are also affordable.
      A Dentist check up and clean up ranges around 500 pesos.
      Be sure to look for bilingual services if you don't speak Spanish.

    I think you’re forgetting a BIG issue. AMERICANS CANNOT OWN LAND IN MEXICO.
    Honestly this place seems very expensive for Mexico, and I live in San Diego California!

    • @yucatanrealestategroup
      @yucatanrealestategroup  15 дней назад

      As a real estate business specialized in helping internationals, WE KNOW HOW TO HELP AMERICANS BUY IN MERIDA. Maybe you just havent done enough research as you find it expensive.
      Also, while it might feel expensive for you, Merida is cheaper that most places in California. Many of our clients have come from LA, San Francisco and even San Diego.
      Lastly, this channel is to provide information to those seeking to get more info about what it is like to live here so if you're not interested in Merida, you are watching the wrong videos 🤷‍♂

    Had to sell my place… the heat was unbearable! You probably get 8 weeks of nice weather and the rest of the year you are in hell! In the cold you can dress for it, but in that heat there is nothing you can do.

      We had to change a few activities between May and September because of the heat but we definitely like this weather better than the cold winters we lived before. Every place has its compromises and for us getting a pool helped us be more ok with this weather

      It's okay that You didn't acclimate to the Yucatan sunshine. You're not the first.
      Perhaps November-February would be more agreeable to You.
      I'm from south Georgia. I visited Centro Merida from May, 21-June 11, 2024. Though the daytime temperature did not drop below 104°f/40°c, for 21 straight days, the temperature was manageable. To me, the key is to get your outdoor chores/errands completed before 10:am.
      Then take a siesta until 6:00pm. Then go to parks, restaurants, etc.
      Evening activities begin around 9:00PM, and generally continue into the late evening-early morning.

      Merida is not the cheapest city in Mexico but very affordable for most moving from Canada and the US.

      We have worked/met people living in Merida full-time from Virginia, Nevada, Georgia, Florida, Ontario, Alberta, BC, South Africa, New Zealand and many other places so it's worth it for a lot more people than you think. The two most common reasons why people relocate to Merida are the more affordable lifestyle and safety.
      Merida's expat community will continue to grow and the content we create is to help those looking to move here as no place is perfect.
      Cheers ✌🏾

    these types of companies are the reason expats are moving out of mexico and other countries, because try to profit more than the countries actual true cost. they raise the cost to outside the normal rate, but this only benefits them, and harms the countries people, but no one will go there and spend money, because of them manipulating the area to jack up the cost, out side what the people can even afford. the locals could benefit if they kept the cost normal and treated people well, then more people would come and want to spend, but the price is jacked up, they feel cheated and hate the people and area. its common sense. foreigners come to countries, and try to charge people the same price as america, which not what it really is in the countries, when they do this, the people that move to countries like mexico, feel so cheated, they would rather leave, and now the country has less people to buy their services, and to be honest, most expats dont have alot to spend when they get retirement. this is all a scam that harms everyone except the people trying to sell over priced.

      Even thought what you're describing can happen in Merida and other areas of Mexico, I'm not sure how you're qualified to to rate our business or business intentions when you've never actually worked with us or anyone related to our business. Before submitting a review of our business or any business for that matter do more research or actually use the business.
      If you've been taken advantage by other business that's unfortunate but what're describing above couldn't be farther from truth about our business.
      Our business exist to protect internationals from the bad experiences you're describing as those practices are done mainly by locals and/or other foreigners that have been burned and start taking advantage of others to compensate. I invite you to watch all our videos so you can understand more about the difference we're making as a business or read our google reviews by international clients.
      Making these videos takes time and resources we don't get back and we do it with the intention of having transparent information in English so those bad experiences don't happen to the most vulnerable that might not speak the language.
      Our co-founder David Casanova is local of Merida, employs other locals and helps everyone (local or international) to have the best experience possible. So again, I hope you infrom yourself more before just giving a negative opinion of something you don't know.
      Thank you for your comment either way as it will create perspective for those watching this video in the future.
