how do you focus when you are both the operator + talent? 50mm is beyond arm's reach for a talking head shot.
So far I've just tried to sit still to stay in focus. But I just got a Tilta Nucleus Nano II so I'll be making a video about how that helps soon
@@itmeremy wireless follow focus will definitely help.
@@gigihanmandarin absolutely
Can you do a chromatic aberration test vs the 50mm? The 35mm Athena has a lot of CR in bokeh, and I see a lot of people picking up the 40mm if it's relatively CR free. A simple test at T1.8 of out of focus lights will show any CR in the highlights. A resolution chart will show the other type of CR(Transverse)
Yeah I'll be sure to test that in my follow-up video. I know the 35mm is known to have some CA and I agree that if this one is cleaner, it might be a much better option
You ever try the Dulens 43mm?
I haven't but those APO Mini Primes are a set that I would love to try. That's where I got the number 43 from
@@itmeremy They seem like really nice lenses.
@@whatisagent5629 I agree
You had to many samples of the 40mm lens. I just want to see you talking to the camera.
