I just don’t get it, and am frustrated. You make the best damn rifle light I’ve ever used then just stop. You’re losing out on so much revenue.
I was also hoping this video would explain why you stopped making them, but it didn’t at all and I just wanna know why you thought it was a good idea to stop making them

The OWL was a great light, but was big, bulky, and expensive compared to others and as years passed it became clear it's not the direction the majority of customers were wanting to take. The REIN offers less weight, more output and cost less than the OWL while still being extremely strong and durable. It was time to retire the OWL so we could focus on bringing new and better products to market.

i dont see why you cant still produce both. even if you make and sell more reins, they both have a market and they fit different setups. would be cool to see a picatinny mount exactly like the owls with zero wires that would work with the rein.

@@CloudDefensive Thanks for offering us an explanation. I’m sad to see a product go for which the spirit was “built with no compromises” (the rarest kind of product). I hope a successor to the OWL will be released one day, because there is no “new and better product“ than this one for me.
