Just biding my time until my shiny new switch gets here. Appreciate you guys getting this out ahead of the curve.
Next tutorial, how to install an EPL.
When the time comes.
Just got mine in the mail! Awesome light saber! Ty Cloud Defensive! 🤙🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
God I wish I could afford these. They seem awesome. I currently have a cheap $30 Amazon light on my home defense gun. Better than nothing I guess. Hopefully, in a few years I can get my hands on one of these. Awesome video guys.
Would like to see the installation of a pistol light
Before you do anything charge the battery...I got it all installed and the battery was dead after I had it on for about ooh 2 min
See I’m trying to see if I can mount this to my mk18, the mlok slots in between the picatinny rails have a curve to them and does not sit flat. If anyone knows if it will still fit snug or have any links or ideas for an adapter that will work please reply!
If your rail has picatinny mounts those slots in-between are likely not true M-Lok spec and more used as heat vents. Email us a photo at support@clouddefensive.com and we can confirm. You likely need an offset picatinny mount which will place the light nice and snug between your pic rails.
The screws on the pressure mount stick out pretty far. Is that normal? Am I screwing too tight?
Possibly. The end of the bolt will stick out a little from the nut but not excessive. They don't need a lot of torque to hold tight in most situations.
WOOT WOOT NEW VIDEO DROP! First comment let’s goooooooo!!!!🔥
just got 3rd gen switch today. its so much easier to install than the old one. good work on the new switches guys
Glad you like them!
The mount option to bring it just off a bit more from the rail, link?
Arisaka offset is likely what you’re wanting.
will this light work well with a semi auto 12 guage?
Absolutely!
HELP!! I am feeling less than adequate in this simple task. I just received the REIN Micro 3.0. Charged the battery, installed the battery (+ side facing up), clicked every button I could find, yet no light comes on. Took battery out, installed the battery (+ side down this time), clicked every button i could find, yet again, no light comes on. I know this isn't rocket science, but I'm at a loss. What am I doing wrong?
Additionally, my light came with 2 rubber o-rings, both different sizes. There are no instructions, so I'm not 100% sure where they go. I put them where it looks like they fit, but maybe this is part of the problem?
Hello. We test every light for proper function before it leaves our facility. This very much sounds like you received a bad battery from our supplier. We will 100% get you taken care of and we apologize for the inconvenience. Please reach out to us a support@clouddefensive.com.
@@CloudDefensive thanks. I've reached out, got a link to a video, I've already done what the video instructed, replied to the email, now am waiting to hear back.
How can install the light on a Picatinny mount? There are no instructions and mount in the box
Hello. You must have an older box as the current packaging has both an instruction card and inline Mlok mount as shown in this video. There could be a QR code on the front of the box that takes you to the old tech PDF.
The original picatinny mount you have is pretty straight forward. Just use the included two small screws to mount the picatinny mount to the light body itself. The two longer bolts are to mount the picatinny mount to your rail and screw directly into the mount. Feel free to reach out to support@clouddefensive.com if you have any questions.
The Rein is Scout mount compatible so any picatinny mount designed to fit Scout style lights should work just fine. We highly recommend Arisaka.
Do you plan on releasing a momentary only switch? Does anyone know if there is a 3rd party variant for momentary only?
Yes we have momentary only as an option along with a dual button that's momentary and constant.
@@CloudDefensive I appreciate the reply, I'll look into it
@@CloudDefensive I got the dual with my rein 3.0, I didn't know it wasn't the norm it was during last Christmas.
@@highstrangeness2396 You likely have the previous gen switch as these switches launched a few months after. Still a fantastic and durable switch.
@@CloudDefensive While the light is on, a light press on the switch that comes with the rein 3.0 turns "momentary off" ---is this a "feature" or intended? (I had to move the switch out of the way so it doesn't accidently turn off while firing.)
tail cap assembly is snugAF! doesn't just pop out
dang.. I've got 3 REIN's and none of them came with an inline mount.
We made the change just a couple months ago.
That what I've been saying, insane they refused to ship these with mlok till now.
I got 1!!
There is so much cantilever. I’m worried about catching the light on a door and the torque tearing the mount.
The mounts are extremely strong. Don't canitlever the mount itself off the rail and you'll be good.
Just a tip, about you don’t tighten the whole flashlight so damn much ! I can’t even twist off the flash head to insert my battery not twist the back end where the touch pad mount is. Absolutely terrible.
What rifle build??
SOLGW lower, Aero upper, 16” Criterion barrel, Geissele MK14 handguard, Samson VFG, Eotech Vudu lpvo with EFLX, and HuxWrx Flow 556k. Solid build for sure.
Your screws are absolutely terrible. I stripped both of them when trying to take off the mount. So badly I had to get a new handguard but will be going with a arisaka mount this time. I dont know why you guys cant go with the simple crosshead or flat head its way more reliable. Great flashlight though.
$350 flashlight and can’t even include a 25 cent allan wrench what a joke
Underrated comment
$350 light, sounds like you should have already prioritized and have tools
What kind of crazy person doesn't have a set of hex keys?
