I love what you are doing with the pearls and flakes in the clear coat. I would like to see what the Ceya burning love looks like over apple red. I have a red f150, and I am thinking about doing the hood in a colorshift.
Over the black, that one has more shift than any of them we've seen so far. It had to be 6 different colors. Good job.

That's some intense color shifting, so a 5+ over the black.
The gray gets a 4, but I'd like to see this pearl over a silver or gold sometime.
Order some highly reflective powder to change it up and have some fun.

Yeah the only thing is you have to be careful shooting pearls over top of metallics like silver and gold it can very quickly turn into a blotchy mess because they kind of conflict you get the best results over a solid color because the pearl is the metallic if that makes sense but I got plenty of other stuff in the works so stay tuned and thanks for watching
Black is a 5 White 3-4, might be more exciting in person. Maybe do it over a dark
grey base?
How long do you wait to spray over the rustoleum?
With the spray paint about 20 minutes with through a gun about 45 minutes to an hour really you just make sure it's tacky but not pulling paint off on your finger and you're good to go

Can you use mica powder in clear coat when you paint a car? And if so can you mix them?

I may be color blind but I still give I a 5. I painted my wife’s Durango with Ristoleum Gloss White. I went to NAPA and picked up a gallon of clear coat. Acme brand. Is it any good, and could I use pearls in it ??

Hey Johnathan, I am painting to hood right now with rustoleum regal red, I'm getting a rough finish. Too much air, not enough paint, too fast ? Your thoughts. Thanks.
A lot of times if you're getting a rough finish could be from thickness of the paint combined with too much air pressure but I would say a 60-40 mix with acetone and anywhere between 28 PSI and 40 psi typically you get a pretty good layout with Rustoleum through a gun
I did 70/30 , my last coat I got closer and it did better, maybe 60/ 40 on the car itself. Thanks so much
