Thank you for being willing to try this on your car. Respect. For real. I used Thor for my transmission and used BPM for my tune but considering MHD also to the extent that I can get some additional benefits, feature-wise atleast
Channing Way I went with MHD because it did half of the things I wanted (power and trans tune along with burbles and clearing my CEL) but the other things I wanted was the different steering feeling and differential that Thor gives along with like the little electrical features that bimmer code does. MHD is still the most cost saving tune tho that I have seen which is a plus.
Did you fix the problem with the GTS transmision flash? I have he exact same problem. I'm thinking it may be a problem with the LCI M4's, mine is a 2018.
Alex Oehler I did. I ended up flashing back to stock like 3 times that didn’t work. Then I unplugged the battery for 30 mins I think then tried it. Flashed to stock again then I was able to get it back to stock. I tried the GTS flash again but this time I had the seat belt clicked in. Try that and let me know.
Alex Oehler so I tried the motor map first and that worked. Then I tried the trans flash. So when the trans map kept failing I kept trying to do a full stock flash but I had the drive train error you see. If the complete stock flash isn’t working try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins. After that do all the steps along with connecting the seat belt. Do a complete back to stock flash which is the stock pic that’s at the bottom of the screen. After the flash is done wait like 3 mins then start up and see if it’ll let you put it in gear. Hit me up on ig @imcoolinmf so you can send me pics of what it’s showing.
Alex Oehler the main thing you want to do is to be able to get everything back to stock. Then once done you can set up the flash you want. When doing the trans flash tho make sure the seat belt is connected. When o contacted MHD when I had the issue they said sometimes the computer goes to sleep if the seat belt isn’t connected which could lead to flash failures. I currently have the GTS trans flash after I did the seat belt part.

Disconnected battery and flashed back to stock twice. Same issues. Just swapped my DPs earlier as well. But it was already previously tuned with MHD stage 2. This was my first time trying GTS transmission though
Uhmm try this. Disconnect the battery for like 30 mins, reconnect, turn off everything in the car you can (lights, radio, a/c, blind spot etc, connect the drivers seat belt, either sit in the car or stay outside with the window rolled down so you can see what’s going on with the dash, flash back to stock tho then retune. Or have you done this already?

MHD is from Germany 🇩🇪 and so if the car is German I would go with MHD not with the Canadians, also MHD was there first then bootmod3 came afterwards, So MHD has more experience on the market…
tsep01 I’ll do an update vlog and talk about the issues I had and how I fixed it when I got the error. There’s def a difference though. Stock it’s wild but with the GTS tune it’s more controllable and the pull is harder
@@LetsGoFlo Looking forward to catching the new Vlog. I'm hoping the transmission flash also fixes the existing crap gear changes when slowing down at slow speeds. Have you noticed any difference between the CS and GTS
tsep01 so I haven’t tried the CS trans yet. I showed try it now that I’m thinking of it. Tbh with the trans flash you have to really pay attention on the changes between stock and the GTS. I’ll say it shifts quicker but it’s not anything crazy in my opinion. The car still jerks in 1st and 2nd, it shifts faster than stock, it still downshifts 2 gears by itself (auto) which could cause a spin in the crank hub. If you’re not pedal to the floor (like mid acceleration) it punches into the next gear like it’s a single clutch. I don’t know maybe that’s just my experience but I’ll def try the CS one.

does any one know what the super license brings like does it give you all the maps ?
Super license is a one time buy license that gives you access to all the maps instead of paying for individual maps

You don’t need to flash the transmission MHD already does a pretty good Job on it plus you have DCT which is spot on ..:
You kinda do ..for the amount of torque on the transmission

@@Thegreatest20 what happened to me was really just the seatbelt that caused the trans to fail.
