@hassantalib3426 you need to do charge pipe and some people say intake too. Both fmic and catless downpipe would be recommended imo
Can I use MHD by only buying the Flasher License and the OBD2 Adapter, or do I need the Map to tune my car?
So according to you we must buy that specific bluetooth adapter fir this program. My onblink mx+ wont work? That seems odd.
..what if my car already has this from the last owner. Do i still have to buy the program to let it be coded? I just want the backfire sound gone!
The Bluetooth adapter is just that, an adapter. You need to have the original device the car was used to tune with to take off the tune
So isnt the blue going to wear out on the rotors after like 20 miles?
Just where the pads meet. The hubs, outer and inner rotor edge are all still blue and match the calipers pretty well

What kind of exhaust setup you have?
So I'm completely stock other than straight pipes from the dp. The stock dp is still installed would a stage 1 93oct be alright? Also would it pop still with the cat still in?
You will fry your cats if you backfire but I would recommend DP with stage 1

Will I get the burble on a stock down pipe?
Yes but I would advise not to do it as you will burn up your cat in no time and I personally reccomend having the cat in good condition in case you need to put it back on.

With mhd wireless device. Can this be used to tune multiple cars? Or is it married to that car? Wondering if I can find someone with one already to tune my car and give them some cash instead of buying it.
Yes it will. You just need a license for your car but the device used doesn't matter.

Hey, did y’all have to change your coil packs for the stage 2
Nope we did not need to touch the coils. I did replace my sparks recently - non related - and the coils looked brand new. Might end up upgrading them in the near future which is never a bad idea
How much was it in total for all your tunning? I’m in highschool and want to mod my 535 too. My car is stock so if I would tune I would get the stage 1. Is it still quite a difference?
Everything we used in the video comes out to be roughly $400 in supplies. The stage 1 isn’t going to be an insane difference however you will get to remove the governor, get some pops if desired, you kinda unlock extra features by tuning. The stage 1 will definitely be a noticeable difference, but you will not be thrown back in your seat

Hey is there a DME unlock software on the MHD app or how did you guys unlock your DME?
Sorry for the late response! The software in the flasher module will unlock the DME on most vehicles

Yes it is very possible. Simply not the same horsepower but still will definitely increase powe
Great video and great info on MHD options. Still on the fence about a tune, just scared to damage DME. Any issues, CELs, problems since the tune?
bearsfandamn I was really worried for a while too but I haven’t had any issues at all. Less check engine lights since I tuned it actually. The tune will set the O2 sensors to “not ready” so that a CEL doesn’t appear. Some states you can pass emissions like this others you can’t

Is the car burning more gas with 93 octane and should I do this tune if I have a slow drip oil pan gasket leak????????
It’s a bmw if it’s not leaking I would be more concerned. And no it doesn’t burn any more gas using 93 you should be using 93 in your bmw regardless of a tune

hey bro, I flashed mine f10 to stage 1 with your settings (burble) but I get no burble at all. From MHD told me that I need a DP upgrade and/or exhaust upgrade too. Do you have any of those installed?
I saw the exhaust already, what about the dp?
@@user-db2du6kx7s yes I do have those installed but from my understanding, a careless DP isn’t required for the burble, but you’ll essentially just be frying your cat every time you burble. If your settings are like mine and you have a stock exhaust I would guess that you just had a very muffled version of mine but you are saying there is none at all?
Also if you do decide to get a cat less dp the video before this goes over the install as well as a custom exhaust fabrication that saved us so much money on straight piping
@@EastCoastGarage yes, I am all stock and I get no burble at all. I don't want to go str8 pipe, probably upgraded DP, muffler upgrade (akrapovic). I also saw a lot of videos by owners gutting their cats and have none of the issues you might get buying an aftermarket dp. What do you think, should I change the settings and so?

Went with BootMod3 Stage 1 for my 2012 535i PWG and I’m having some drivability issues including vibration on throttle and rough gear shifts.
Should I go with MHD as it’s better for PWG BMWs?

Can i do a VW jetta 2011 stage 1
hey guys, finally got the $ around for MHD wifi flasher and licenses. I'm putting the wifi flasher in the OBD port, connecting to my Iphone via wifi, opening the app, but when I try to 'read DME codes' per the instructions, its not reading the car. Thus, no vin #, and can't move forward with flashing or doing anything with the licenses i bought. Any ideas why I'm not connecting to the car itself??? I'm an iphone 11, FYI. I've used a veepeak bluetooth for Bimmercode before so I know the OBD port works. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also you said your phone will infact make connection to the adapter via WiFi? Like it shows “connected” in WiFi settings?
@@EastCoastGarage I have a 2015 535i, bought the black (F/G) wifi flahser from BMS, then bought the N55 flasher license and map pack. So... I'll plug in the wifi flasher, I can see a green light in it come on, my phone detects the Wifi, I connect, then open the app, try to 'read DME code', and it says "no cable or MHD wifi adapter detected. Please check your cables connection"
@@bearsfandamn alright all that sounds right. Now is the car turned on into the ready but not running position? Like pressing the start/stop without pressing the brake

@@bearsfandamn alright so honestly there should not be an issue if all connections are secure. Is there any chance you can try to go straight to unlocking the DME and see if anything happens? Unlocking the dme won’t change anything but allow you to use your map. Should be able to install it with directions on the app under the tune category

twinscoupe we haven’t dynod just yet but MHD claims stage 2+ will get you up to a little over 400hp with FMIC and Catless DP
yea..you should specify thats to the crank and for ewg models not pwg also mhd says "up to" 400 crank hp which varies depending on different factors so realistically its more like 340 whp

This isn't safe if ur stock u need a upgraded intercooler, upgraded charge pipe, downpipe, I wouldn't do this ! Dyno tune is best 👌
In the video we discuss all the recommended upgrades associated with every stage. Dyno tunes are simply customized tuned that still need a program to be run through. MHD offers custom tuning options using their interface and platform. Map packs are simply general maps for a specific car based of specific upgrades.

I had both on my car and can say MHD definitely pumps out more power on my N55 and my N54 cars no doubt !
