BURBLES are made by fuel igniting in downstream exhaust (boom), if they are set too aggressive you can cause major damage and or accelerated wear to your (OEM) Catalytic Converter. I would wait to upgrade to a catless downpipe (or high flow ) before turning on the Big Pops and Bangs 💥

I installed MHD stage 1 and XHP stage 2. Magnificent!!! I just ordered an Eventuri Air intake and a Wagner catted downpipe to go stage 2. Can't wait to have them installed.... :). (On my F30 340i 2018) By the way,, nice video...@@jesusirizarry7346

Just went stage 2 in my m340 2020 and loving it! Currently CTS turbo down pipe with Dinan intake and Dinan exhaust. Car sounds fckin amazing.

Do I need a intercooler for a stage 2+ on a n55 I’ve been told that it’s recommended but I can get away with not having one as my car would never go on a track and the weather we have in uk it’s never that hot aswell
That’s a good point , considering you live in colder weather. Although you may not “need” it you are still missing out on performance gains since an upgraded intercooler would allow for more airflow. The OEM one is pretty small compared to most upgraded intercoolers.

You will need to make a login to buy , the license is stored under your account.
Hey brother I have bmw 640i 2014 I had the charge pipe replaced nd intercooler and also downpipes with intake can I run it stage 2 plus or do I need the injectors replaced also ?
Stage 2+ all day ! I would suggest Spark Plugs if they have never been replaced 👍🏼

Is a battery charger necessary for the first flash? Scared about bricking my car. Got a new battery 2 months ago do you think it’s ok without a charger?
If your battery charge % is low I’d definitely use one, but if it’s new and you’ve been driving frequently 👍🏼 you should be good.
Question: if you don’t have a car battery charger or tender and you’re doing a new flash, what battery condition do you recommend? Like does it have to be brand new and fully charge or just fully charge? I know it’s not recommended to do that but whay if?
At least over 50% charge to be safe. I wouldn’t flash a car that has been parked for a long period of time. Take it for a drive for peace of mind.

Do you ever use a battery charger? I'm looking at flashing my M340i and i've seen mixed comments on it. Some say theyve done it 30 times no issues and some say you risk a bricked dme and immobile car. ((I know you said you dont but some people say the first flash can be up to 30 minutes.
First and foremost you need to confirm your production date and make sure your DME isn’t locked. First flash can take a while I can’t deny that. I’ve never used a battery charger because I’ve never flashed my car with a weak battery. If you have doubts by all means hook it up to a charger. I’ve never heard of anyone bricking a dme unless they were doing something unordinary and stupid. For any odd reason that your flash is interrupted and fails… you try to flash again and if that doesn’t work you will have to flash back to stock. Don’t go trying to start car and doing any extra stuff. It’s very simple , keep it simple and don’t complicate your life.

Yes you can use it but you will have to make your own login and buy your own licenses!

I would get the flasher license and edit burble settings when flashing stock tune. it may not give you the option but its worth a try. Im not 100%

I wanted to change my MHD multimap in my 335i F30 2013, mhd has stopped during unloading old program (I've push plane mode !!). So when I tried another time to flash : MHD can't reach DME. Till one month is in a garage. Garagist extracted the DME and has reloaded an original program of 335i. After re-intalled the DME in the car, still the same problem, no com with DME (with MHD wifi key or with his computer). Please help !! BMW resseller doens't want to sell and install a new DME, he's sure it has been reprogrammed. DME is not dead, my garagist part of program is missing. Do you think it could come from a protection which cut power to DME ? HELP
I all would make sure fuses are intact ! Sounds like a power supply issue.
Anyone know if you need to have data signal on your phone when flashing ? There’s no signal in my garage and I don’t really want to do it outside because I would rather have the battery charging for the 1st flash
You will need data to sign in and for app to download licenses and register car before flashing but not during the flash, you can even put on airplane mode to avoid interruption.

Do I need to leave the universal WiFi adapter plugged in after flashing from MHD app & installed flash or can I take out once it says succeeded & wait 30 seconds or does it have to stay plugged in the car from now on & goes to sleep mode when I turn car off.
You can unplug it as soon as flash says succeeded! No need to keep it in unless you plan to run some logs , reflash or clear codes.
With my dual tomei exhaust the burble pops are insane

Would you say an xHP tune is a must in the m235i to buy the MHD? Or is that something that could wait?
It is a must if you want add additional power and maximize drivability . It can wait but you’ll be itching for it eventually!
@@Sliderz_Official So getting MHD then the xHP is a better option than bm3 since bm3 only removes the torque limiter rather than tune it
@@olsson1374 id go MHD all day ! Much easier to operate and flash on the go. XHP is a game changer if you are spirited driver like myself and need your car to be as responsive and efficient as possible when it comes to up/down shifting through critical maneuvers.

Hi all, I have a 2017 540i. Does anyone have any experience with this car? I would like to get this just to gain some HP, don’t need anything crazy, just a bit more than stock for when it’s needed. Any experience is appreciated
You’re in the right place a simple tune will give you what you’re looking for. The B58 in the 540i is very tunable.
Does MHD for b58 have flame tune?
Not Specifically but I have seen people adjust/play with burble tune settings that make significantly large backfires. Nonetheless MHD does allow you to upload a custom flame tune from your Tuner!

Can i only code exhaust flap open in sport mode without putting a tune on it with mhd since the car already is at stage 2?
Exhaust Flap already opens in sport mode once car warms up , what tune do you have at the moment ?
@@Sliderz_Official im from belgium, here we get our cars tuned by a certified company and they have put a stage 2 tune on my car (M340i) the exhaust flap opens fully after 3K rpm. I wanna buy mhd to code the exhaust flap always open in sport mode but im not sure if it will remove my current tune
@@YS_99. yes it will reflash it unless they give you a custom tune with MHD , I suggest trying Bimmer Link to open exhaust Flap .

I have a 2018 240i lci. Is it necessary to get a tune if i get aftermarket intake? I heard some people say the stock intake is already good enough, but what's your opinion for b58 engines?
Intake makes no difference on performance, sealed intake would be best for lower IAT

Nope you may have started car before it cleared codes. After flashing it will say 100% but you have to wait for it to clear codes and say “ Flash Successful , wait 30 seconds”. If you have a catless downpipe remember to check the box to remove cel.
Do the sport gauges update after flashing tune?
Yes 👍🏼 , if I’m not mistaken you may have to click on a check box ✅ to activate it .

The flasher is the device you use to connect and tune the car so yes you would have to buy it before or you can borrow someone else’s temporarily to flash your new tune.
Guys I have a milltek exhaust valved exhaust and on MHD I have valve always open in sport but it’s also always on in comfort, does anyone know the reason?
The Always open option is to keep it open in every mode. Turn off always open and it will work normally.

That is up to how you choose to treat your car after tuning it! A car used strictly for daily commutes will last longer than a car that is used for racing. If you keep
up with regular maintenance there should be no difference.

🇵🇷☝️ 335i N54 Magneti Marelli HPFP is it upgraded or stock?
From what I read it’s a updated version so that would be a plus considering the N54 HPFP is a very capable pump as it is stock . But of course it’s N54 so it may fail once you get up there in mileage. Most people never replace and or only replace the Hpfp once for lifetime of vehicle. Go for it ! If you want to run more E85 I would recommend upgrading the Low pressure fuel pump in tank.

You’ll be paying much more for someone else to tune it one time and without any of the features MHD offers. Also you’re not tuning the car yourself, you are simply downloading a tune that has been revised by professional tuners countless times. Well worth it.

@@quenn9753 yes for one car. But you’ll have an appropriate tune for each level/ stage of modifications you do to your car. If you were to pay someone for a custom tune you will need a revision every time you do an upgrade.

Never do what he said if your car is stock don’t run stage 2 it will definitely ruin your cat , only catless or catted , other than that stock car should be only stage 1.
Catless downpipe is recommending but not required. You will definitely accelerate wear of catalytic overtime I won’t deny that.
I’ve run stage 2+ On my 335i for 3 years and dont have catless downpipes only have a vsrf chargepipe and intercooler and car has never had issues with the cats. Car runs strong and perfect!

i believe for the most part thats based on what your burble settings have been, its no secret that having aggressive and very frequent burbles is going to tear your cats up, can totally get away with being on a stock downpipe stage 2 if you're smart @@davejohnson6144
Ok well give me some advice..i have a 2008 535 i stage 2 i beleive im not sure but its downpipped,hks blow off valve charge pipe,aftermarket intakes and vrsf intercooler..its at 500 hp.
