Keep the Mazz video coming!!!! Can you do a video on HOW to remove the vacuum plugs to control exhaust sound open all the time? I want to see how it is done.
great video I just ordered the same oil and filter and look forward to saving $500 on my oil change to my 2012. I like the color of yours... haven't seen that too often here in Tampa. Thanks for sharing
@@ProfessorDrives Hopefully it’s just an oil filter seal. Had that happen with my C7 Corvette. On Maseratis I have read of some people having valve cover gasket leaks.
I know its been forever. Had forgotten about this. Ended up checking the filter since its was 4 years old and turn out that it was easier than I thought. ruclips.net/video/Rm62N7o8M1M/видео.html

If you’re driving these cars be prepared to pay. How is $600 criminal? These Ferrari/Maserati dealers are expensive to maintain. Don’t be cheap If you get these cars - go drive an accord then. If you go to a nice steakhouse with your wife and complain about a $300 bill don’t go. You do know these places have high overhead right? I have owned 24 businesses in my 30 year career.

They shouldn’t charge $600, just because we can afford pay it. I did another service a few months ago. Same oil and same Maserati oil filter. Saved like $470. I would understand the $600 if it was a complex procedure, but it was easy like doing an average car.
@@corvettedude4423 you definitely have good point. It’s just that I’ve had close friends who own these dealerships and overhead is ridiculous. That’s why so many of them go out of business, unfortunately

For educational purposes, here is a video showing the theory and operation of the exhaust valves. ruclips.net/video/xhOHupBETDA/видео.html

How did you know where to jack the car up? Im scared to damage the car
Not sure if they are all the same, but my car has the carbon fiber package and the sideskirt panel has a cutout for the jacking points.
@corvettedude4423 Thank you! I just bought a 2015 GTS with 40k miles and it already has a major oil leak lmaoooo.

@corvettedude4423 Yeah that's mine. Valve cover gasket leak. It'll cost a couple thousand to fix.
Please video the opening of the filter...
I'll look into it.

@@corvettedude4423 thanks
I think that Pennzoil you’ve got is derived from natural gas.
The oil filter is only for sale in the Maserati-Ferrari dealer...? And other parts...?
I had gotten the oil from Napa auto parts
Amazon got original Ferrari/ Maserati, oil filter original part number 289571
Did you put a new crush washer on the drain plug? I hope so
@@DJRTP yeah, I had the old one off the plug, but looks like I didn’t mention, I put a new one.

Great video
Pennzoil Premium Euro oil.....SPECIALLY formulated for Ferrari and Maserati........guess the cows were feed real Italian grass, si?

Also where are you located? Texas? Which city?
I live in Gainesville Georgia
What about Motul?
I've used it to top off my oil, but I decided to run the Pennzoil since it was cheaper and a Maserati dealer I called told me they run Pennzoil.
@@corvettedude4423 thanks I’ll consider it then in the future

Got the report for the Maserati used oil analysis
Cool 😎
There is no legitimate reason for the cost of that oil change to be so high. Not even the filter should cost that much.
