- Howdy friends and welcome back to our dumpster diving channel! This was a great day of diving in a new place. We ended up finding a lot of usable items that we can donate, sell, and keep for ourselves! The red planter box sits over a deck railing. It straddles the top of it and the water will drain out those holes at the bottom. Nice finds at the hardware! 🙂

Those pansies should all grow, if you could take them all. They are easy to grow. Give them soil and water and they will grow.
Good job rescueing items out of dumper. I agree there's good stuff. It's very wasteful for everyone dumping items they could take to animal shelters, food to give to homeless and panties. You and Alexis has a good heart for doing this. Also you getting items for yourself is wonderful like washer dryer, dinning table. The world today is so wasteful.
You rescued a whole couple flats of flowers that I think are going to take well in your yard. So neat! ✌🏼💖🙂

@@breafkast It’s so wild !! I’ve had that happen so many times and it is so fun when it really does happen ❤!! Also do you all do this ? You should try it if you don’t. I say I really need some light 💡 bulbs 💡 and guess what happened? I recently found 2 boxes of light 💡 bulbs. It’s absolutely amazing and shocking experience!! It may not happen that day. It will happen it make take a week or 2. It’s really amazing when it happens. ❤
Hi Kelly and Alex from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲 I like watching your dumpster diving videos 👍😎 it's so sad these stores throws away good food and animal food. They should've donate it to food pantries and pet shelters. That goes for other items they throw away like clothes. Alot of people are struggling these days to buy food and high prices on food.
As long as the pet food hasn't be recalled for some reason.

Me to my favorite flower
The flowers are Pansies; they are perennials and come in yellow, reddish
purple, bluish purple and white. When the weather warms up, they die.
The Pansies can take full sun!

Sure they can get some seeds and soil together and plant 🌱 those for you and that way you can watch them grow in a area. You can put some other flowers in other areas as well. Or they could give you the plant 🌱 pot and soil and flowers to put IN the flower pot and you can do it yourself and enjoy 😊 doing it. If you have any questions let me know ❤
That is an amazing find of pansies! I would be so happy. With a bit care they will come back beautifully. Awesome find and I’m so happy you saved them. I used to dumpster dive at cemeteries after Easter and get the dumped Easter Lillies.

I think the flowers might be some kind of petunias.
They look nice planted in hanging baskets too.
(Pansies, which many people suggest, are (at least where I live) different looking.
Can't give any meaningful gardening tips for Texas from Finland haha but at least here pansies are easy. My mom keeps potted pansies from spring to autumn, extremes from near freezing temperatures to 30°C. When planted, they can bloom many years. If you pop out the seeds and just throw them around your yard individual pansies might start growing 😊 I started doing that last summer and it was so fun to spot them bloom randomly, dotted around the grass.)

That long, red planter is a Deck Planter, it fits over the railing on decks. Great find!!

The window planter is for balconies and fences porch rails and so on ...but we use them in our pond too to raise the boundary plants😊
The pansys will absolutely survive. That to me was so tragic they were dumped like that :( They are one of the most hardiest want to live plants. Even if they do look like they are not alive anymore after planting the roots will come back full tilt and keep going. Thank you for saving some!! Wonderful diving day!
Hi 👋 It made me absolutely sick 🤢 looking 👀 at those poor babies pansies in the dumpster!!! I would of taken all of them because the weak ones could of been planted and with water and some plant 🌱 food they would of been fine. It breaks my heart ❤️ that those flowers were left there. I couldn’t be that person who threw away live plants 🌱! That breaks my heart ❤️! The last place I would of put them would of been the dumpster. It makes me sick that the other people that put them there put them to die in there ! Obviously that person that threw the pansies in there they didn’t know what they were throwing away.
Those pansies were a really good find, replant and a little water and you are good to go!!!!

Kelly, when you kept taking so many trips as Alex was in the huge dumpster, I had a thought. If you’re ever in a similar situation you should drive the truck alongside the dumpster and stand on the tailgate and get things from Alex and place them in the truck bed; that seems easier. 🤔 What a great score there!! Love seeing you two out saving things from the landfills!
Bird baths are easy to make with a large shallow bowl. I bought a piece of China from the second hand store for this purpose. I put it right on the ground so other critters can drink out of it. But it would be easy to get off the ground and put on a pedestal of bricks or cement blocks. Cheers, y’all!
I just screamed Nooo!!!!! when you left the new boxes in the dumpster, I use them to organize my clothes inventory. They are worth $50 on ebay
Yep, those could have been sold at a yard sale, for $5 bucks, if nothing else. Someone could have used them.

Pansies are pretty hardy and those still look good. Just give them a good watering.

Great dive, the red planter goes over the railing of a deck. Cute bird feeders. Get those plants in the ground they looked like Petunias and they will grow. Give them some water soon. ❤

We have a new pop shelf. Took my great granddaughter today for the first time and spent $80. Whew that was a surprise. But she loved it and I did get some really good cleaning supplies.
I loved the video. I believe the flowers are pansies. I love when you both go into the dumpster and get great items. That last dumpster was an amazing haul.

I have those long fluorescent bulbs in my kitchen too and hate them! They give me headaches. Two are out and are stuck in their ballasts.

Yesterday I read somewhere that a guy wanted to get back at his friend and threw bagel dough on his friend's lawn. The friend went to mow the lawn and that dough got stuck up in the mower's blades!
That blue thing that Kelly said was a display could be used as a taco holder...lol
It could be that the contacts and the rest of the medical equipment are out there for a specialty company to come get them.

Hi guys. FYI if you plan on feeding finches they eat thistle. I especially love the gold finches. They look like yellow canaries. If you have success; please post pictures

Thanks for the Smiles..~ ~ Hope you watered those plants before they dried completely out... ~ ~ The double Planter was designed to sit on a Hand Rail on a Patio or Porch ~ That is what the raised center part was for.. Drains on ground with hole outside facing & not onto porch..
Those flowers look like pansys or violas but I might be wrong. Those trays will be good for seeds too. Great find 👏👏
