That small rolled fabric with Velcro is probably one of a set of two to put on a baby’s seat belt straps. It helps protect the baby against marks from the straps and provides a bit of support for their neck, as well

Yes, I actually use them on my seat belts.
It could also be used on the handles from grocery bags to keep them from digging into your hand.
You could use those wire pot racks on your fence. Put the plastic pots in and plant some plants .
Back in the 1950's in LA, we always used to go for walks after dinner. My folks found a bookcase on the curb and now my daughter uses it. It's amazing that stuff would be on the curb back then. It is always like a treasure hunt to go to sales or flea markets or dumpster dive.

You put the Baritto thing on your seat belt areound the top of your seat belt so the seat belt doesn’t cut in your neck

Yes, I would have taken the mirror decoration also and taken the glass out and just used it as a wall decoration.

My mom saved a few sliced designer bags from the dump and took them to a shoe cobbler, and he was able to fix them up like new. Added a strap here and there, and they can't back like that's how they were supposed to be made! Maybe it's worth checking out 🤷🏼♀️

The blue round thing with the balls on it is a cat toy. A cat will lay on their side and paw at the ball. It's just more or less to keep them occupied. Cool find.👍

I think the little camo 25:06 Velcro item is used on a seat belt strap to protect a child.

I think the black bottomless bowl thingys could be used for protecting your newly planted garden starts from frost or wind. That's how I'd use them for sure.
That thing with the balls is a cat toy! Our kitty loved hers...hours of fun.
Those flower displays could be used as holders at grave sites also. Yes Kelly I am 65 and still go dumpster diving 😂 love the adventure and saving things from the landfill

I believe the plastic thing you are holding at 22:00 in this video (and asking us what it is) is an ICE MOLD, to make round ice for cocktail drinks. I believe you attached all of them together to make an ice tray, open them, fill them with water, close them back up, freeze them, open them back up, then PUSH the round ice out of the mold into your mix drink glass. Try it! Let's see if I am right.
My daddy went to the dump in the 70s we lived in the country and they started putting dumpster down the road to put trash in instead of people throwing trash in the woods . My dad found some really good antique furniture and neat stuff so that’s how I got started digging in 70s now great video
Nice stuff you found!! Where we live in south Texas where every place close to us that has dumpsters has security that literally makes their rounds driving in circles around the plaza guarding the garbage!! I was run off three times and gave up diving there. A lot of the other stores in our area use those massive dumpsters that is literally parked attached to the building to where only the employees can access it from inside their building (receiving doors in back), and the garbage trucks go pick up the whole bin and haul it away. So there’s no way to access their trash. The other places behind smaller stores lock their bins or have a fenced in area and a pad lock!! I have no idea why they guard the trash so much. It’s sad people can’t save stuff to reuse for themselves. 😩🥺😢
You are so happy when you save items from the landfill! I wish I could still dive, but due to health reasons, I can't. 😕 So I share your happiness in having saved so many nice things!

I miss diving too! My health should have stopped me, but what really stopped me was three episodes of damage to my tires. One of the times required a new tire vs. just a repair. It was like they were leaving screws around on purpose. I only went to one shopping center.
Good finds. The blue thing with the balls is a cat toy, google a cat ball spinner toy. There should be 3 balls on 3 different levels. It's a shame they destroyed the Michael Kors purse. I do understand why they do it. they don't want someone grabbing the purse from the dumpster and then returning it to the store to try and get the money.

With Alex being able to sew look to RUclips there was a channel that the lady did really cool repairs on purses like the one you found. She had a really funky esthetic about her repairs which I personally love you might find it interesting better than taking it apart!!!

To fix a zipper take a screwdriver and widen the tunnel track just on the bad side, do not spread it apart too much, only wide enough to get it over the teeth, once over the teeth wiggle it to get it all the way to the bottom then use a pliers and gently tighten it, if you make it too tight you won’t be able to get it up and down. The usual dumpster I go to was full of construction debris today, but I found a box of 45rpm records from the 1950s -1980s and my adult daughter loved them. She went to youtube and looked up the songs.

Those pop blocks are actually called Bubble Fidget Pop Blocks Toys. They come in a set of 25pcs. I found them on Amazon.

The best thing was that blue-ish decorative wall hanging. Easy Fix, and so unique. Could have taken the glass out and made a twin or full headboard out of it and sold for $50…or a kitchen wall piece. Endless possibilities with that. U need to get ur creative game on girl.. ?? Garage sale ppl love that stuff. That was an easy $15 at a garage sale. “As is”…

I know it was cool I think and not to make Kelly feel bad but I think she is still grieving her losses I noticed she is doing pretty good but saying the wrong words and not taking the little cup is not like her she normally takes even the smallest toys for the kids at her sales and calling the puzzle a pillow for sure signs of grief
The “Love Never Fails” plaque is nicer looking off the cardboard frame. Just put it near ur kitchen on a wall.

The camo velcro thing is to go around the seat belt at your neck. Some seatbelts are very sharp on the neck and the soft camo is soft on the neck.

Maybe the little square things are to put on the legs of your furniture to keep from scratching the floor. Good haul!!
The cameo thing with the giant tags, is for a seatbelt, if I am not mistaken, you put it on a seatbelt where the belt rests on your neck, and it's meant to help with pain caused by the belt laying too high on your neck. (often used for kids when they are shorter but out of a carseat)

I think someone should start a fashion trend where you make obvious repairs to clothes and other items found in dumpsters. I could imagine the Michael Kors bag with big herringbone stitches mending the sliced areas, like Frankenstein scars. The same with cuts in clothing by patching and sewing so that you could tell everyone they were found in dumpsters and this is what the companies do to good clothing.
That purse 👛, hot glue /E6000a zipper from a craft store, around the purse. 👍🏽
The camo colored velcro thing, i believe its for your seatbelt to keep from rubbing your neck. So happy to see new videos!
Great to see you and Alex again. I don't dumpster dive but when I go out with my dog I find loads of useful items that are dumped or put out near bins for recycling pickup.
I think the camo looking Velcro thing with all the tags are for seat belts. The padded area keeps the seat belt of sensitive areas. My daughter made me some while I was going through chemo. It keeps the seat belt off your port

On the earrings that are missing the dangle, take the dangles and jump rings up to the big rectangle jewel off and put in craft bags. Sell the remaining earrings.

Shut the front door! I love both those pairs of earrings especially the green ones. They are my birthstone and 2 girls in my bridal party, so I may have to buy them from you! Also the round blue thing with the 2 balls is a cat toy.
The fluffy camouflage with Velcro is for around your seatbelt to stop it rubbing your neck.

The blue plastic thing with the balls is a cat toy. I bought one on Chewy, one ball for each layer. You need to put it together correctly. I had directions, it was a challenge to snap it together. Putting the balls in isn’t hard. You separate the layers enough to pop the balls in. My cat loves hers , but she managed to free one of the balls and lost it in the house. Lol

That blue thing with the ball is a cat toy the cat swats at the ball to make it roll around, and the ball rolls around and around cats love them keeps them busy.

Great dumpster dive! Geez I've missed you guys a lot I keep looking for you I'm so glad you're back. I want one of those water dispensers too. I'm keeping my eye open for one. :-) I don't think I've ever seen one just sitting on a curb or anything but never say never right. Looking forward to the next haul.
My day was crappy until I saw you guys back to diving for us. Good haul any saves from the dump. You could always use the Micheal Kores bag for crafts. The little purse with the broken zipper, use some zelcro to use as a closure. I love you guys and blessings to you both. 💜💜
You should scan the code on those weird pop items to see what they are. I’ve seen the resale peeps do that at garage sales & thrift stores.

The earrings you really like missing a dangle, you could redesign them with four dangles with two sections on each dangle. They won’t totally match but they would be even. Looks like it was a fun day!

That was a florist stand, they are usually expensive to buy, or at least they used to be expensive. The cone part could be used in gardening as a protector for small plants or seedlings to shade them from the wind or sun until they are established.

The popping 3Dsquares are toddler fidgets. Check the rainbow bear maybe just a battery change. The blue thing with balls is a cat toy. Separate the balls on the different levels they'll rolls properly. Idea for the MK bag: use a utility knife, E6000 glue, an old or new pair of tennis shoes trace our the patterns of the shoe with tracing paper and transfer to MK material. Cut out the shapes and adhere to the shoes. Then you have the one and only pair of DIY MK tennies. Lol.

Great video, Kelly and Alex! The flower containers can be used for many other things as well. One suggestion is for gardeners to store their garden tools by filling the top container with sand and veg oil. By storing the tools with the sharp sides into the oily sand, they can keep from rusting and even keeps them clean. Another suggestion is for people that make cement and hypertufa pots. These can be used as molds.
