Hi y’all! We were having too much fun out there today lol! It was a great dive and I have been needing some new clothes.. so it was exciting to find bag after bag of them in the dumpsters! We don’t always show the clothes we find, but since this was such a big haul we made sure to include them all washed and hung at the end so y’all can really see! :) Hope you have a great day xoxo

Cut plywood for the tabletop, screw it on and mosaic a table top. I have done a couple. Get tile sample boards from floor store. It's fun & pretty.

Awesome finds. Kelley when you find t-shirts that are slightly stained maybe you can find someone who makes the jump ropes for the Christmas boxes that are sent out each year. Most churches make them for these boxes.
i have never heard of this now i am intrigued and must google clothing jump ropes.

It’s great that you rescue all of those clothes and wash them up…but if you donate them to thrift stores a lot of them are going to go back into a landfill anyway.

Having raised my kids we downsized the kids wardrobe at the beginning of the holidays
Donate the kids Jackets and stuff to the local School clothes closet.
Our local schools here in our area have Clothes Closet for the kids who don't have things.

I haven't read all your comments so I don't know if anyone else has said this but Dawn dishwashing liquid is supposed to be really good for getting oil and grease stains out of clothes since it's a strong de-greaser.

With the table the top dosen't have be glass do the top wood you could stain it to match what you have 👌✌🤞👍

When I find items like the Columbia and Nike that have little stains, I save and wait until I have a good amount and I dye them! Obviously darker colors like navy blue or black, gives it a new life.

You saved some great looking clothes from the trash. I get so upset when people throw away perfectly good clothes instead of donating them. We don’t have enough space to put trash, let alone things that could be donated and recycled. Our earth can’t handle all the dumping of usable things. God bless you both for saving things from the landfill. I love watching you and your adventure. Bones is a great cat, so sweet and social. My black cat screams if I try to hold her. I wanted to suggest listing some of the clothes in same size bundles on local free groups, so it goes directly to people who need it.
Also looking into local textile recycling options for the clothes that can’t be donated.

I always take to thrift store or a donation box.
Now I found that There is a pick up from diabetes foundation here in On Canada
You just pack up clothing in boxes or bags with ‘D’ on it put it on your porch they will give you a date & time when they will come for pick up.

Dawn Powerwash spray is great for removing grease stains, even after they hVe been laundered.

I haven't been finding anything, but trash in the shopping center dumpsters for a month now. How dare they just throw away trash and broken things! 🤣😂I have been finding things curbside though. I flipped a wood paint ladder for $15 today. I'd say, "Yes" for the candy as long as it is sealed.

If you look around utube you will find people that scrap dive using a scooter and bikes. It's crazy to see how they strip things down and pack storage tubs strapped to the back.

You may want to look into donating to foster kids clothing centers or banks in your area. Kids show up to homes with the clothes and shoes they have on and that's it. GREAT HAUL
Great score!! Have you ever had anyone come to your rummage sales and say that they recognize something you have for sale?? I think it is wonderful that you wash everything before you donate ❤

We ALL appreciate the work you do, it has never occurred to me to throw clothes away. Here in Massachusetts the VVA...Boys & Girls Club.. Goodwill. Salvation Army will all come to you house to pickup furniture, lamps, toys, clothes and usable household goods. There is no reason for all this waste.
