Pats 180 yards in the perfect direction is better than anyone's 300 yards in the wrong direction. Smart play wins. I love how he walks up to the ball and just hits it. I talk myself into messing it up by overthinking it pre-swing.

What i think nobody recognizes is that IMO, OMP plays from the "tips" for his distance/age when he plays with the younger guys.And that he plays even or sometimes win at that.IMO, he is playing from the wrong tees, if you can't make it to the green with a driver on a par 3, you most definitely are. But it's a testament to just how good a player he is.His ball striking is phenomenal.
Although I don’t personally know OMP, he’s definitely one of my heroes. It would be a huge thrill to play 4, 9 or even 18 holes with him. Liam you are so fortunate to have the pleasure of knowing and golfing with OMP. He must be everyone’s favourite Golf Mate.

Just a joy to watch. I recently took golf back up after a long hiatus and am 72. I play with my son-in-law who is a scratch player. I used the OMP method last time out on a 6900 yd track here in Arizona and shot 88 even with one triple bogey. I don't try to muscle anything and use my 7 and 8 so much more near the greens. My son-in-law was very impressed with the method. I owe it all to OMP! What a ball striker and putter.

Omp has transformed my game, I could never break 100, until I used this traffic light system, my last 3 rounds have been 96, 96 and 91. Unbelievable, thank you so much Pat for your vision, and thank you Liam for having a true superstar on your golf mates channel. 🏌️♂️

OMP’s videos are really helping me lower my scores. I’m 33 and hit twice as long as pat. I’ve been taking on shots that were not smart and it’s been hurting my scores. I’ve finally broke 100 with more of the Pat mindset. 90 next! OMP is the man!

He strikes the ball very nicely - ball first, then turf. He never loses control of the club face or strike. But the main reason he is so consistent is he never does more with a shot than he had to do. He makes the shot as easy as possible.
OMP is great, absolutely great. That final putt put a smile on my face.
OMP is a legend. Just takes golf in his stride and ensures he can enjoy his round by playing smart. Taking out my new OMP scorecard holder today so will be reading OMP's tips whenever I have doubts!
Pat has the right approach to this game. He knows what his ability is, and plays within himself. Most importantly he has accepted this and now he really enjoys being out there and playing. We can all only hope to be able to be playing at his age...... if we make it that far!!

Pat is such a fantastic example of how our golf game never stands still, it is always evolving, but if we control our expectations, it has the power to reward us. How many of us walk off the golf course frustrated because our own expectations simply get in the way of developing a balanced and well rounded game. Pat is a zen master of himself, his golf game is beautifully played out in his mind, ego absent he then gets out of the way and more often than not his body just delivers the movement patterns to satisfy is own relaxed thoughts.
Astounded, not yet watched a Video with OMP playing and walking or covering a metre or so more than the total distance of a Golf Course.

A year ago I change my mindset and decided to play " Old mans golf" (OMG). I could never shoot anything below 98 now I can shoot just below 90. Often I do not even bring out the driver. If a par 4 is 350M then a simple 5 hybrid will get me 150M then I use a club that i can hit straight with my eyes closed (8 to sw). As long as you are on the green for 3 and a have a 2 put chance, one will break 90 easily.

There is always so much talk of Pat being a "fairway finder" and playing very smart at all times, never taking unnecessary chances, and genius level course management. All very accurate and admirable. But the fact of the matter is that Pat is a world class chipper and putter. Absolutely deadly from 100 yards on in and 2 putts (or even 1 putts !) every single 40 footer he meets. That is the true secret of his greatness.
What a complete Legend OMP is, since I started watching and taking on board what OMP says I've gone from 26 handicap to 18 in a year,
