lovely lovely lovely!! 😍 I love how you managed to coax the horsies and goat out of the way of the gate. I do hope you found some lovely branches for them? Best of luck for this weekend, I hope you have an absolute blast, you've certainly done the training for it. x
Thank you Nic! I’m really looking forward to it now 😊we got the goat 🐐 to move with a handful of leaves in the end 😂I love these little encounters on trail runs ☺️
@@elenaoutdoors I hope the weather stays kind for you too, I know how brutal ARC can be based on the previous years i've watched live stream. You go and get that buckle!! 🧡
Hi Elena, remembering my military days, our hands would swell up when wearing heavy packs for a long time too. Presumably effecting blood flow to the hands. Lifting the shoulder straps occasionally would ease this. Good luck on the AoA. I'm attempting the 50.
That was a run and a half Elena! I've done the CSW Dartmoor in a Day race from Okehampton to Ivybridge 3 times. Last year it was on the hottest day of the year and it was still like a sponge on the top! 😂 I've decided that I'll give Arc a crack, even though training hasn't gone that well. See you there. 👍
@@elenaoutdoors no videos since your Arc 100 :) ..do you intend to do a post race chat. I need to get more tips :) and do miss your regular videos on your channel ...
Great video. Just starting to get into trail running and videos like this are great inspiration! Top marks for video editing and choice of music playing in the right spots.
@@coops111s I now have two: The Petzl Nao+ (old version) and a Fenix HM65R-DT. Loyd Purvis from Run4Adventure on youtube has done some head torch reviews so would recommend checking out his channel for more details 🙂
Finally got round to viewing this. Well worth the wait. 👍You really have nailed making these, well shot and edited plus you have a great engaging but slightly laid back persona. Many people who do these kind of vid have varying degress of rectal auto insertion syndrome. PS do a North to South sometime. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ARC THING!
Ps swelling in hands quite common under exertion/cold. Apparently because the circulation reduces and therefore fluid accumulates rather than flowing back through the veins. Like people with heart or other probs having puffy ankles etc.
It’s described in a few places: Dartmoorway.co.uk has it, Long Distance Walking Association has it, as well as the gpx (highly recommend joining them as you can get loads of routes from them) and it’s here too hiiker.app/trails/england/devon/dartmoor-way-high-moor-link

Awesome soggy run 👏
Yep, very soggy 😂thanks for watching!
Brilliant video 🤩 I've ran the Abbots Way twice and your video brought back some fantastic memories of the route. Loved watching that Elena 😁
Thanks Graeme! Really enjoyed the route, looking forward to doing more on Dartmoor!

Ah thanks for the kind words! Great that you’re getting into trail running! Have you got some nice trails nearby?
Yes thanks, I live next to the New Forest so lots of outstanding trails and terrain.
Cracking training run in preparation for the Arc, good luck this weekend, hopefully you have missed the really bad weather 💪👍
Thanks 😀I hope we’ve missed it too 😬but will that just mean I have to go back and do it again to really get the full Arc experience? 😂

You have a natural gift for making these videos. Interesting, bags of atmosphere, the sights and sounds of nature and not too much music. Thank you :)
Thanks so much for your kind words. Really glad you liked it 😊
Awesome to hear the chat and the river looks stunning! (amazing effort!)
Thanks for watching 😊we feel very grateful to get to run around here!

Love this, Dartmoor is amazing! And brutal 😳😅 I can highly recommend the Dartmoor Way 100 miler in November if you fancy the challenge!
