Awesome! You chose perfect conditions for a kit check! It looks like a lovely route even in the rain. My kind of run. Glad you didn't need a river crossing! 😬 Heading over to watch you Arc video now! Well done!
Lovely day for it! I can't imagine doing 37 miles just as a solo/training run. I think I'd need a 6 month training block leading up to it 😄👍🏻🏃♂️ It's a great feeling to complete an entire, named trail like that. Well done.
Excellent little adventure well put together. PS water in the dark, scary stuff. Nearly came a cropper on a path by another river in similar conditions. Wasn't until I was waist deep and caught siight of a fish in the headtorch that I realised I was off route............
Just found the channel. Loved the video Elena. Well done on completing the run. Well beyond my current capabilities, although I did get my feet wet last weekend. I would have been worried crossing that bridge. Just subscribed to check out your other videos. Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration even to an old boy like me.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! It's beyond my current capabilities for the time-being too but trusting the process to build back up and looking forward to getting some long stuff in soon!
Hi Elena! I'm a recent subscriber too and absolutely love hearing what you have to say and the content that you put out! It's clear to me that you're a person who leaves no stone unturned when it comes to preparation! You did great to complete this run despite all the challenges you faced and that too with a smile on your face. I was in awe watching it. I'm sure you deal with all adversities in life the same way. Awesome job. Well done!
Thank you! It's amazing how the strategies for running a long way can help in the rest of life too. I'm not always as organised in the rest of life but I'm working on it :)
You are certainly hard core, I don’t know many woman who would even think of doing that run at night and the weather conditions were horrendous, brilliant video 😀👍
Well done on the run in those conditions, I recently found your Channel as I’ve been dabbling with the idea of entering the arc!! And was wondering if you could share some of you training routes
Thanks John! The Arc is flippin awsome! 😀Would love to hear if you decide to go for it! Is it the type of route - e.g. elevation, terrain etc that you'd find useful?
@@elenaoutdoors I’m going to go for it!! I was just wandering what long routes you have done and where you find all the gpx files for your watch? And what routes you’d recommend to train on around the area as I believe I’m in the same area as you

Yep, always on the look out for some rubbish weather to test stuff in (within reason!) 😊 Thanks for watching!
Wow, that was a truly raging river! The run was awesome in those conditions.
Yep that water was tanking it down 😂thanks for watching!
Great effort. Night running puts the mind in a different place I find. Best wishes.
Thank you! I agree, I love running at night, it changes my focus entirely!
What a day and then that night time running was good brain training 💪
You’re right! Night running is very good for brain training 😀
Lovely day for it!

Thanks Mark! Yes, I really like running a "Way" and I think that helps motivate me for a long run like that 😊
Really enjoy this
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great video Elena. That water looked a bit scary but exciting.
Thanks Daniel, yes it did make me nervous but it was pretty awsome to see it like that!

Thanks Jonathan! That would have spooked me but I imagine the fish was pretty surprised too!

Thanks for a really inspiring channel! I found it recently and have been watching you older videos.
Looks like a great if soaking wet run!
Thanks Ida! I'm so glad you have found it inspiring. 😊
Btw,, what's the name of the rain jacket you're wearing? The shape of the hood looks very good.
@@idahoog1 It's the Montane Women's Minimus Jacket.😊
Crazy but courageous 😬
I promise it was fun 😂thanks for watching!
