Sorry, yes the key is insert once you slide the cover on the bottom of keypad. There is a key hole there and a back up battery charger incase the battery dies. Sorry I forgot to place that on the video🙏🏽

You said it came with a key in case the battery died but I didn't see any place to insert the key to open the deadbolt??
