    a little tip also. I usually do this for reverse weeding. but if I have little intricate pieces like that instead of trying to lift the white vinyl off of transfer sheet to lay words to pen. (20:06) just apply it all to pen then rub it all down good. then lift off that big piece of vinyl that your trying to separate and all other pieces will be laid to pen. i hope i explained it right so you understand.

    • @cmjamal
      @cmjamal Год назад +2

      My best guess is that you’re using too much resin. I’d start out using the bare minimum and build up as you go. It will definitely pool at the ends. But if the ends are building up take the time to sand them down before adding more resin. You might even need to use a little courser sand paper on the ends to cut through the buildup faster.

    • @lonestarcraftercompany2620
      @lonestarcraftercompany2620  Год назад +1

      You could try, but it might be difficult to get the glitter dense enough with it mixed directly in the epoxy. Thin coats help keep the pens from getting too much epoxy built up. Plus excess epoxy will run and there’s no way to contain it like the bottom of a tumbler. But let me know if you try it and how it worked. I’m curious to know if it’s a better approach.

      It could be a few things, including the resin you’re using. The one I’m using in the video will leave a tacky residue if I don’t expose it to additional light. I use the flashlight to basically set the resin. After I either put the pens outside for natural UV exposure or place them in my PhoneSoap UV sanitizer. Both removes that residue. Some say to wipe down with alcohol, similar to the top coat with gel manicures. It’s not what I do, but it’s something else to try.
