Lol get it girl!! Have fun!
I found 3pks in my kids extra school supplies bins. Past me was looking out for future me. They were also purchased at 50-75% off, bc school had started. SCOOORE! 😂

🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏
This is so me 🤣
Good Morning Jessica, Thank you so much for this tutorial. Finally got my first few done. So Fabulous! I wanted to share with you a trick I learned from your tutorial on making the key chains that worked amazing on the pens as well. I followed your advice on covering the non vinyl side of my key chain with liquid silicone so that it was protected when adding the layer of epoxy to seal the vinyl.Works like a charm!!! Well I applied the same technique to the Glittler Pens.... Applying liquid silicone to both ends so I could easily clean up any resin that went inside the shaft. Works great! I also apply the petroleum jelly to the sticks that I place the pens on. Anyways, Thank you so much! Really appreciate your videos... your art is AMAZING!
Iilm
I just bought $40 worth of pens! This video is awesome...thanks so much for sharing! 💜💜💜
Thank you 😊
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Hello! I just started on my pens and completely forgot the spray paint. Is it necessary? Will it work without it? If it is do you have to use the same color spray paint as the glitter you're using? Thanks in advance.
The Purple Stitch also made these pens, her tutorials are really awesome as well.
Thank you for the heads up! I hadn’t seen that one. I’ll check her out! ❤️
I like the way you used parchment paper for each color of glitter. Simple but brilliant technique!!! ✨
Thank you so much that's so kind 🙏
Really enjoyed this Thank you for the tutorial it was simple yet straight to the point not at all that extra talking and the pend came out beautiful
Thank you
Thank you very much! You have such a sweet teaching spirit.

This was a great tutorial. I'm in the process of making some now. I'm using Brite Tone instead of Epoxy. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thank you
Beautiful 😍
Ayeeeeee!!!!! Made it! Yay!!! ❤️
Yesss I use the straws too!! They fit perfectly!!!
Thank you ☺️
Thank you so much Jessica for taking time out of your daily life to make these videos and tutorials for us!
Glad you like them! thank you for watching them!
Beautiful 🥰🥰
Hi. Great video. My vinyl lifts every time I epoxy over it.
Try permanent vinyl, a thicker font, give it a good amount of pressure for adhesion. You can hit it with a hear gun (not too close) that helps with adhesion. You can also use a quick coat before epoxy.
I wish I would have had this before I did my pens! I totally forgot not to do the tips of the pens and messed them up😂
As always a great step by step tutorial! Thank you! ❤️
thank you so much for watching!
Like the shop
Do you have to use spray paint? Can you use acrylic paint??
I did. You can use water based acrylic paint
Thank you showing how you attached for the spinning process that has been my hold up on jumping on the bandwagon! Amazing work! Very pretty
Thank you 😊
Great tutorial
They turned out so stinking cute!!! What was the brighter blue you used on the beach ones??
thank you! that's Jasmin from Peachy Olive
Hahaha I said “so satisfying” just before you did! Amazing vid! Quick q. Are you using non-toxic epoxy?
probably
This was so helpful! Thank you for all the detail in your tutorials. It's super helpful for overthinkers like me!!
Thank you 😊
So excited you did a tutorial on this! Your tutorials are so easy to follow, I'm working on my pens now. I did order an attachment for my pipe that way I won't take a chance of them falling. Beautiful pens you made as always ❤
That’s great! Thank you
How much you earn in this buiness
What can you use if you don't have a spinner?
You can turn by hand until the epoxy cures enough to stop moving. If it's not turned constantly, it will drip off.
Do you have to use spray paint or can you use acrylic? Paint is a spray paint literally stinks up your house and my son and I both have severe as well, so can you use acrylic paint with a paige Broggi Smile there and do it that way?
You can use acrylic paint, it just takes longer to dry and less coverage. But it’s not a problem
Jessica what font did you use for Ansley? Im going to try you made it so easy to do I love your videos!!
Sacramento font :-) thank you!
Ok - is there anywhere to get the inkjoy pens for less than a buck a pen? That seems like a lot. Or.....is there an alternative brand that is just as high a quality as the InkJoy?
You can check sitesnof craft or tumbler vendors. Alternatively, buying in bulk and cutting out the middle man via an ali baba type site. I havent used them so I can't attest to their quality.
Loved the tutorial 🥰 did you seal the glitter before applying epoxy?
Thank you 😊 I didn’t seal it
why don't people make them with UV resin instead ? That way it can cure so much faster? I've never made the pens, so I'd like the guidance
Even spining uv resin, it wont give you a smooth result. The light will cure it too fast.
You make it look so easy! I had lumps in my first try but want to keep trying and see if I can master this craft.
Approximately what size did you make the name decals do you remember? Thank you in advance
I go over that at 11 minutes and 27 seconds. You can see all the sizing for names and leopard spots as well.
When you said you applied 2 coats of the final epoxy at the the end. Did you apply one coat let dry 8-12hrs and then another coat and let dry for 8-12hrs. Or did you apply one layer wait a little bit and then apply second coat
I apply and let dry.
Loved this tutorial! I bought the pens and couldn't decide to try it on one or do the whole pack then I saw you did 13 I'm like let's do the whole pack 😂
Yay!! Have fun!!
Does anyone know if we have to spray paint them the color we are making? Or can we just use white spray paint for all
What do you do when reassembling isn't this easy. I made a pen and the top portion is miserable to push through.. I can't click the pen
Is your epoxy too thick? It sounds like you may have to sand it down.
I have a genuine question. What is the purpose of spray paintint the pen if you cover it with glitter? I've seen this done for tumblers and have always wondered if there was a reason to spray paint even though you are covering the entire item in glitter. I really would like to know! Thanks!
Spray painting before glitter can help in a few different ways. If your glotter is opal, it has a semi transparency to it so a base color helps it pop and a base color always helps give the appearance of better coverage without needing multiple coats of glitter to acheive that. A base coat of color can also help guide you where to place your glitter for ombres and other multicolor designs.
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thank You!!!
You're welcome
Can u use acrylic paint instead of spray paint
Water based acrylic paint, yes.
I love doing these, they are so much fun!
What kind of epoxy do you use?
FlynnSistersSupplyShop.com 🥰
Beautiful!! Can we play a game...take a shot every time Jessica says shaft or tip😆
lol!!! too funny
Do you have to seal your glitter before epoxying them??
No you don’t
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thank you! and fyi, youre amazing! You have really helped me get thru my journey with my tumbler business!
Aw so glad to hear that! 💕
Hi Jessica, I found out using a wire cutter completely remove it...❤️❤️
Great idea! Thank you ☺️
Can you make these without the turner or is the turner a have to have?
You gotta have that.
Love this! What are those fonts you used, especially for the beach pens?
Smoothy ☺️ thank you
I just made my first 8 pens. 5 were good, but 3 wouldn't work. The outside was pretty, but the clicker wouldn't work. It should. Thoughts?
When you put it all back together the clicker wouldn’t work? Did you try to assemble them again? Did you get too much epoxy inside the pen shaft?
Now I know what to gift my friends! Thank you so much! I’m excited to fro this now!!
Beautiful. What don’t was that for Linda and Ashley name!
Thank you. Fonts are listed in the description.
Where did you get the shelves to hold your glitter?
IKEA mosslanda 45” picture ledge
Hi you have the link for the vinyl used. What color is the cheetah print please? I love it!
Very Beautiful What was the font you used for the names
they're all listed in the description box :-)
Hi would like to make these pens for gifts for teachers! Can I print on clear sticker paper and then put them on and epoxy them? I do not have a cricket!!
Not sure if this has been asked but can we use acrylic paint as the base as well?😊
As long as it is water based acrylic
In just curious do you have to spray paint?
Can you tell us what font you used? Thank you
I would like to know as well please
I just updated the description box to include all the fonts I used for which names ☺️
So you don’t have to turn while the glitter is drying ?? I didn’t know this and have been turning mine the whole time for each drying process. Also some of my pens are sticky after drying 8-10 hours. Not sure why. I measure correctly 🤷🏼♀️
no you don't need to turn them for that step as long as you used a really tiny amount to apply the glitter. if you pens are sticky after 24 hours then it's most likely a mixing/measuring problem. temp of the workspace is also a factor.
YAY! I have been contemplating making some of these. Now I’m headed to pick up pens🙌🏻. XO Melissa
Thank you 🙏 have fun!!
These are so pretty! I found a holiday pack at my Kroger. They were on sale for 6.99! And it’s a pack of 10! I was so excited I bought 4 packs but haven’t even tried anything with them
Awesome!
I’m curious how much you would sell these for, I don’t wanna overcharge or undercharged, obviously the personalised ones would be more but how much for basic single glitter?
Not sure... maybe $10-$15?
Thanks for the videos, I've watched them all. Love your work. I'm new with all this and just have a question please. I'm trying to do the letter in Cricut to that size however for some reason don't turn out properly, get cut off or doesn't cut correctly. Can you please help me with that, give me some advice or recommendations on what I should do please. I would really appreciate it.
What size are you cutting the name at? Should be about 1/2” tall. You might be making your letters a little too small
My only question is how do you get rid of bubbles if you have bubbles and can't use a torch/heat gun? I'd like to think I'd have perfectly bubble-less epoxy mixed but that doesn't happen that often!
You can do a quick shot with your torch! I did and they were fine!
WHAT are those darling dressed birdies? on your shelf below you???
I LOVE your tutorials. Thank you!!
thank you i got them from target!
Omg I be waiting for your tutorials, so much easier to understand and you get right to the point! Thank you again😄 almost 55k congratulations
Thank you
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I tried my first batch, but must've gotten some of the epoxy in the pen tube because the "clicker" of the pen now sticks. Any tricks for the end that the straw isn't in?
Can you use acrylic paint instead of spray paint?
Yeah the coverage just won’t be as good and it takes longer to dry.
Crying because I'm having epoxy reactions....anyone here find a good alternative. I didnt' want to stop making cups :( Love your tutorials too
Look up crystalac and epoxy alternatives on RUclips 😊
I have been waiting for this!!! If you make it look easy then I will consider it... because up till now I was a skeptic!! Thanks Jess for always providing the trending content.
It is extremely easy to make these! Give it a try! You got this 💜
@@EmilyMineDesigns Pens ordered!!! I’m off to the races!!
Thank you for watching ☺️
Thanks for making this, I’ve been wanting to do something other than tumblers!!
& do you know what refills work with these pens? If I were to make some (I want to do so ASAP) I’d like to know what refills work for myself and customers too 😍
I’m not sure about that! Maybe check out Office Depot or something?
Hi can you recommend any other Turners? Doesn’t appear TheBoan LLC is selling anymore….many people asking for them and no response.
They’re sold out but they have a wait list. They’ve got a fb group where you can updates on restocks and waitlist info
I love this tutorial. I don't own anything I'd need to do this, not even the pens you start with. I do sell all of it, though, since I work in a craft store. Crochet has been my own hobby. Usually I watch videos like this so I can be better versed when helping customers who do this sort of thing, but after watching this video, I want to do this sort of thing.
And now I'm running the math for what I'd need to get started. I swear, I can't take a paycheck home to save my soul. I always end up spending most of it at my store. lol
I would too if I worked in a craft store!
Can I ask how do you do this if you don't have a turner 😢😊
You can place a rod inside the ylindet of the pen and yurn it by hand until the epoxy is cured enough.. few hours
great video. I do not see any links for this video
there's a little arrow or something under the video that will open up the description box and that is where all the links are located.
Do you have to have the turner system? I am new to this and wanting to make these for my co-workers for 911 week. What is the purpose in turning them after you apply the epoxy?
The epoxy will all run off if it’s not turning while the epoxy dries since it takes so long to dry
I just bought one of these pens and I was curious about how they were made. Wow! That was a cool video and I appreciate my new pen a bit more because a whole lot of work went into it! Thanks for sharing! 💜 Hadassah
Jessica you forgot my name Lymari 😉✨💕 great video like always you the best 🥰 I love making this pens so much fun ✨✨✨
Thank you so much 😊
Straws are a great idea! Or #2 pencils.
Instead of wasting tape when taking to the noodle, you can either use like 2 or drill holes into the noodle so you can stick the straws/pencils into them. :)
Great tips! Thank you ☺️
Watching again b4 I try my 1st pens. I use 2 strong rubber bands.
