Are those glitter colors available from your shop? They're gorgeous and the cup is gorgeous. I'm definitely going to try this as I've murdered several ombre cups so far
Absolutely my favorite person to watch!!! To the point..simple..easy detailed instructions. There's no crap going on in the background, no annoying music. I cant tell you how many videos I stopped watching because there's a circus going on. Thank you Jessica. 💜
I love when things I do are reaffirmed by makers I admire! Something you do that I’ve not ever thought of is using a finer cut of your fine glitter. Thanks for this!!
I am super impressed that you completed this whole project wearing a long sleeved white shirt and didn't ruin the shirt. I could wear a full head-to-toe Hazmat suit and I would still find a way to get paint all over my clothes and in my hair.
Thank you so much Jessica, I have not tried an ombre yet but after this video I will try it. You are such an amazing teacher and so thorough..thank you go being you!
This is my go to for tumblers. I got a request for a ombre tumbler but its with chunky glitter and fine glitter and I haven't did one before so hopefully it comes out perfect
This was so much easier to follow then a lot of the other videos I've watched! I've wanted to do a chunky and fine glitter cup but found very few videos
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Your cups are amazing and the blends are simply gorgeous. I am now so excited about my new epoxy journey now that you have shown us tips and tricks. ❤️
I am LOVING your videos. I am newish to tumbler making, about 4 months but have already started buying better glitters and am ready to buy PO. I think it would be cool to see a video of craft glitters vs polyester good quality glitters.
Omg!!! After so many times of watching this video and working past my nervousness of making a tumbler, I finally got the courage to make this. Thank you so much for such amazing videos and tutorials. I want to share the pic with you I’m just not sure how to do it on here. Sorry I’m a true newbie
amazing tutorial!! Could you do a tutorial on tips for selecting colors for ombré cups? I always have a hard time picking colors. (especially lighter colors).
Hi Jessica! I love, love, love your style! I have tried a red, white and blue ombre without to much luck. Would it ever be possible for you to do a tutorial on one. I am wanting them in that color order with the white in the middle. I would love to see how you would do that!!! Thanks so much and you have made me a peachy olive addict LOL
I had to come back to this bc holy cow how do you make it look so effortless?! I just striped one bc my ombré isn’t great, but... I can’t avoid it forever
Great video again! I need to order shakers but I’m so cheap! 😂😂 I have gotten so used to sprinkling mine out of baggies I don’t even know if I could use a shaker properly. 🤣🤦🏻♀️ Also, You’re so beautiful, inside and out! Thank you for always sharing your knowledge! 🖤
I seriously love this blend of colors I just order for the first time on peach olive glitter and I got mostly these color and I'm gonna try to make gypsy cup too thank you luv I love your videos now to follow them 🥰🥰😘
How do you learn to price your items? Don't know if I'll ever get to that point! I need lots & tons more practice!! I'm having a hard time finding an epoxy I like. Ugghhh. My first gal kit was great, then I tried a different brand & it was TERRIBLE so I went back to what I used first and its much thicker & doesn't level very well!
You want to price out your cost of production then add on what you’d like to pay yourself for your time spent. As far as your epoxy goes it could be a temp change or it’s reached it’s shelf life. Hard to say with this little of information as there’s a lot of variables that can effect your epoxy
Thanks so much for the video. You are so nice for showing us your techniques. I don’t like the way my transition came out. It’s not majorly bad just the copper went to high in a section. Do I have to strip the tumbler and start again?
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Of all the epoxy tumbler youtubers, you are the only one who's been replying my comment every single time. Some youtubers don't. They have to understand that more comments will get more views, doesn't matter good or bad, I know that cuz I'm a content creator too in my country. Thank you again Jessica, your tutorials are very helpful for beginners.
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I have had trouble getting my colors to blend, but I just did my first ombre following your tutorial and I think it looks so good. I can't stop staring at it on the turner and can't wait to see it dry! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You mentioned in your first video that you don’t use paper towel ever so I was curious what you do use to wipe down your cups? Love all your videos so far❤️
During prep and cleanup (before the first layer of epoxy) I use paper towels and it's in a completely different room from where my epoxy cures. So the lint is a non-issue at this step. But in the room I epoxy and cure my cups, I use white coffee filters (not Walmart brand).
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve been trying to attempt my own way of ombré and they always turn out awful so I have to strip it and start over! Last night I did my first perfect ombré thanks to you and your video!!💗
I absolutely love your videos! I have learned so much already!! I am having trouble with my chunky glitter though. I apply it with the epoxy method, like you did hear, and I seal it 3-4 times with a rustoleum spray seal but I STILL get movement!! I will mash the glitter down so there aren’t pointed pieces under the spray seal but when I go to epoxy over it it’s like they break and the chunky ends up everywhere!! 😩
Hey there! I"m sorry you're having a hard time with your chunky glitter. Have you tried using maybe a little more epoxy when applying it? Maybe try to use less of the chunky if possible and filling in a little bit with a matching color fine glitter to fill in any holes? I rarely will cover a whole cup in JUST one chunky glitter. I usually will sprinkle on that chunky glitter kinda sparse and fill in the gaps with a finer cut in the same color when possible. So try to use a little more epoxy when applying that chunky, make sure you're not piling on too much of the chunky, pat it down as well as you can, and once it's dry - spray seal once, then coat it with a thin coat of polycrylic and let it roll on your turner for that poly coat to dry. You can also use Quick Coat from CCDIY. That polycrylic coat will really help keep all that glitter in place and make your first coat of epoxy over it much smoother! i hope all that helps
This is a great video! Actually all your videos are great! I like how you are detailed and how you explain what you’re doing and why. Thank you for your videos! I can’t wait to try your method!
Thank you so much for this I am so happy with my first ombre doing this way dont know how many times I add more glitter with modge podge as was not happy with it
What decal have you normally put on this cup. I love it. It’s so beautiful. Not as beautiful as yours because I’ve never found all the peachy olive glitters in stock but I think I got close. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you. Yes. I researched some sayings to put on it. I think of wine sayings with these beautiful colors but most people wouldn’t drink their wine out of this cup. I must be overthinking it. Lol.
I love your video so just to confirm you not use Loctite spray glue you apply the glitter directly to the epoxy and how long after you apply the epoxy until you add glitter

You can wait until it is dry and lightly epoxy and ombre again. You can also try to use a spray adhesive or mod podge to try another ombre coat.
Very beautiful
