      congrats. I'm glad this was helpful. I struggled at first with other tutorials mostly because the camera was directly above the machine. I had a hard time seeing what was happening.

      It’s 4.5”x12”. I’m pretty sure the bottom is a 4” circle. I think I mentioned it in video, but just in case I didn’t I added that info too.

    Thank you for this video. I was at the point of returning the machine thinking it was defective. I had bought it from a reseller of returned goods. And got to thinking that it had been returned for a good reason. One last shot before returning it… RUclips trouble shooting. And found your video. Yes, the instructions pamphlet has a cast on video, but nothing in the written instructions makes mention of the necessary back and forth every other tooth yarn movement. Thank you. You made a difference in making my day better.

      Without seeing how you're doing the cast on it's really difficult to answer that question. I wish I had a better response.

    I have just purchased one of these with the 48 pins. I am having a lot of fun and moments of complete frustration, but I have been persistent, and I have now completed two beanies. One with a pompom and one without. Thank you for taking the time to produce the content that helped me understand how to use this machine. My husband loves the beanie I made him. 😊

      Thank you for sharing. It took me viewing several videos and trial and error to figure this out. For me it was the overhead views that was causing the most confusion. I hoped that showing this from a different angle would be helpful to others as well.

      I found doing a slip knot on that first pin to be extra helpful for me. It was a tip from another channel that helped me to get and keep it onto the needles on the first few turns. I have bad joints, and it helped make casting on easier. I'm glad you did the review on all of the machines. I'm looking forward to watching what you do with the small 8 needle one.😊

    You are using UV resin not epoxy resin. Two different resins and may get people confused even though I know this is two years old

    Can you please share the reason for using burlap. Also please tell what kind os stabilizer and hod how many layers. I am a newbie and want to try making this

      You don’t have to use burlap. I liked the look so that’s what I used. Other customers have used felt or cotton. I normally sew on 2 layers of burlap on the top, depending on how tight or loose the weave is. I use one layer of felt and one piece of burlap underneath.

      Thank you so much. Canva isn't my preferred way to make notebooks, but it's the most accessible. I use Adobe InDesign, but I know many people don't use Adobe software because of the cost. Canva is a good alternative that's more affordable and easy to access.

    Great video! I’m just starting pens and are your pens 100 percent smooth when finished? Or can you feel a little bump or two? Mine is smooth after sanding and with the final coat it never ends up smooth. Thank you
