I have just purchased one of these with the 48 pins. I am having a lot of fun and moments of complete frustration, but I have been persistent, and I have now completed two beanies. One with a pompom and one without. Thank you for taking the time to produce the content that helped me understand how to use this machine. My husband loves the beanie I made him. 😊
Thank you for sharing. It took me viewing several videos and trial and error to figure this out. For me it was the overhead views that was causing the most confusion. I hoped that showing this from a different angle would be helpful to others as well.
I found doing a slip knot on that first pin to be extra helpful for me. It was a tip from another channel that helped me to get and keep it onto the needles on the first few turns. I have bad joints, and it helped make casting on easier. I'm glad you did the review on all of the machines. I'm looking forward to watching what you do with the small 8 needle one.😊
Thank you! I'm a complete beginner and I just completed my first beanie. Super helpful video, highly appreciated. Next, I will teach my kid to make new beanies as fast as he loses them 🤩
Just got my machine today. Had trouble with the first 2 rows as I was following someone else. Found you and thank you for showing e the correct way to start off correctly. It works great.
This is the best video I have seen for this knitting machine it was made excellent step by step❤THANK YOU!!! I'm so happy I found your video. I've had my machine for a year and could never get it working watching other videos. I found yours and Bingo! It's working you took your time and showed all the steps awesome.
😊Thank you so very much for taking your time to help a newbie here learn. I have been hoping to find a tutorial that will allow me to learn. I am elderly and having a hard time using my knitting needles and with my grandchildren coming along I have been struggling to make them the little things that I want them to have. ( warm winter clothes for Canadian winters) Thank you again you are amazing ❤🇨🇦
Thank you! Thank you! 🙏🏻For showing us how to use this machine. 😮 I bought it on offer up it was used and, with no instructions, so I was driving me crazy , figuring out how to use it. Very well explained , even though my first language is Spanish , I understood all. God Bless You. 🙏🏻
Thank you for this video. I was at the point of returning the machine thinking it was defective. I had bought it from a reseller of returned goods. And got to thinking that it had been returned for a good reason. One last shot before returning it… RUclips trouble shooting. And found your video. Yes, the instructions pamphlet has a cast on video, but nothing in the written instructions makes mention of the necessary back and forth every other tooth yarn movement. Thank you. You made a difference in making my day better.
This is awesome! Thank you so much because I had a hard time with other videos also and this actually got me started with my knitting machine. Good job
The beginning needle is the one that is a different color than all others. In your case it is the "Black" needle with all other needles being white. On my 48 needle Sentro the color of the #1 needle is "white", with all other needles being pink. You can purchase a row counter for your 40 needle Sentro. It does count the rows for tubular knitting. You will have to keep a row count for panel knitting.
Thank you for the comments. I have a 48 needle Sentro, but sadly I haven’t even opened the box yet. I knew the needle colors are different just from the RUclipss I’ve watched. I had no idea there’s an add on row counter. That would be quite helpful!

@@raquelreyes8573 no I haven’t. The one I was using in the video is the only one I’ve used. I bought the bigger one but haven’t needed to take it out of the box yet.
I just received my Sentro 48 hook/pin. I have never used the machine so I thank you for making this video. I have subscribed and am looking forward to learning from you.
Thank you! I have watched a lot of videos but you zoomed right in. Now I get it!❤

Worked perfectly. And you are right about the instructions they are terribly vague.

Without seeing how you're doing the cast on it's really difficult to answer that question. I wish I had a better response.

DID NOT FREAKING WORK.
Maybe u did not do it right
I was ready to send mine back to Amazon, when I came across your video. Thanks
Be careful. I accidentally got a fake one. It was cheap and fragile. Research well 😢
So complicated to put on you should’ve started the beginning
If you can get through the talking at the beginning of the video you might be able to learn something… she is very chatty at the beginning
Too much talking, keep it simple.
