I'm actually glad HMH doesn't come to Magic Kingdom. It's nice with all the cool stuff that WDW has and all the cool stuff coming (Tron) that the smaller Disney parks get something special for themselves.

I was so disappointed last week when I was at magic kingdom on Christmas and found out they didn't decorate the mansion like this 😭
Actually at first, all the Audio Animatronics and props were made to use them at WDW but finally WDW refused to bring this Haunted Mansion Holiday and Oriental Land Company (owner and operator of Tokyo Disney Resort)decided to buy them and bring it to TDL. I read this story somewhere on the internet.
Honestly, it's all of this plus a marketing/strategy tactic. They realize that their American theme parks have to very different audiences and a lot of their loyal /continuous fanbase comes from the Disneyland CA side (They have a larger annual passholder service, the history of the theme park, etc). Disney World is more of a large tourist destination due to the fact that it is much larger and has more opportunities to expand. So one of the biggest things they have to do is create difference. This is why Disneyland gets HM Holiday layover and Disney World HM gets the interactive ghosts, Sanderson Sisters and Christmas partis just to name a few. It's a way to get their tourist to have a reason to go to the other theme parks because they offer different things. I have been a Disneyland annual pass holder for almost 10 years and just recently went to Orlando because I wanted to see the differences for myself. So on top of hundreds of dollars at Disneyland, I also paid another couple hundreds of dollars at Disney World and I'm not the only one. It's smart and annoying. Lol
the decorations for tokyo were supposed to be for WDW's HM but they just abandoned the idea and tokyo ended up getting it
They should definitely do this in Florida. They're kinda the same layout.

These decorations were meant for Florida but WDW decided they didn't want to do it so the decorations went to Tokyo Disneyland.
Yeah but Florida is the biggest Disney resort and has much more attractions than Tokyo so I don't think everything needs to put in Florida
Great video! I LOVE Lock, Shock and Barrel following you home at the end, wish they had that in Disneyland CA. The Oogie Boogie in CA is great, but I don't see why we can't have both him AND Lock, Shock and Barrel.

They do! Lock, Shock and Barrel pop up in the mirrors after Oogie Boogie gives you your "gift"
Oh, I should have been more specific with my comment: yes, we do have Lock Shock & Barrel pop up in the mirror in CA, but they're just 2-D cut outs. What I would really love is for them to have full-scale animatronics somewhere in the ride (bonus if they talk, but evil giggling works great, too) - they're such popular characters that frankly I'm surprised they don't have that already. Then again, look how many years to finally get a Sally animatronic. So yeah. I hope LS&B will get theirs someday, too. In the meantime, I am glad they at least get to pop up in the mirrors, like you say! :)
Is it just me or does tokyos stretching rooms stretch much higher than Florida’s? I feel like it does

Tokyo hasn't updated their haunted mansion since the 90's because The Walt Disney company doesn't own Tokyo Disneyland. The company that owns it is a Japanese theme park company. Disney built the park then handed the rights to the company to maintain this. The company doesn't like updating stuff as it costs lots of money. That's why Tokyo didn't get the 2009 mk refurb

You'd think they'd update this ride by now. Still stuck in 2009 it seems.
if you compare some of their things to the california one (holiday one) some aspects are better. The california intro is better as for it is animated, but this one seems to have more models, in California you dont get a sally (that i remeber of i went two years ago) nor do we have a snake, we have only two zero's not three, no piano doll, we have no present room itself, we don't get the trick or treaters (idk how to spell it im sorry). Tokyo has a lot more animatronics than we do in california.
@@delial5800 Anaheim gets two Sally animatronics, and technically Zero makes four appearances as he is seen in the changing portraits and the stretching room scene alongside Jack Skellington. And they also have the attic snake which is the room filled with all of the creepy toys and presents. We also still get Lock, Shock, and Barrel in the form of pop-up cutouts at the very end of the ride when you are riding past the magical mirrors, if you get a certain prize from Oogie Boogie, then the three will pop up from the mirrors and blast cold air at you.
It's too bad there aren't subtitles, or a Hanging Tree. Hah, the freakin' teddy bear is macking on Sally.

They have to do this in Paris but it wil not fit with the story of the phantom manor
