Great to see the Skids with Big Country guitarist Bruce Watson and Son belting out some classic tunes here. I also love Bruces vintage H+H combos and Norlin era Gibson very tasty indeed. Pity Stuart never got to do a reunion that wouldve been very special . Stuart was an exceptionally talented guitar player and a big loss to music.
Thank you Robert. Yes, it was a fantastic night at the RAH.
BTW: I have no special feelings regarding the H+H amps and the Norlin era Gibson. Norlin era Gibsons are considered to be the worst Gibson guitars ever made... I use a Yamaha THR100 amp and it sounds like a Boogie or a Marshall or a Vox, whatever you want, great versatile amp even without tubes. Close your eyes and you'll think it's a tube amp.
But anyway, the Watsons know absolutely what they're doing, so it's in their fingers that makes the sounds. And they did a great record, Burning Cities, and next year we can expect a new album. Looking forward to it.
Great video!
Thanx!
