In a career spanning over 40 years it seems inconceivable that they have never performed at London’s most famous venue The Royal Albert Hall. That changed in June 2016 as the band appeared with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra adding some a classical vibe to hits like These Dreams, Alone and What about Love, they also reinvented old favourites like Dreamboat Annie and Magic Man while rocking the house to the rafters with Crazy on You and Barracuda. This very special show was most certainly not just nostalgia as the band and their extra 68 backing musicians also played tracks from their 16th album Beautiful Broken.

Who's listening with me here in 2024..?
I’ve watched this 10 times. Never get tired of hearing the Wilsons.
Came from the Led Zeppelin cover lol
Can't stop
I am here, crying in my soul, totally...
I am listening to it in 2021.Blows most modern contemporary crap out of the water!
1984 and 1985.First heard Heart as a 4-5yo.Alone and These Dreams.I loved those songs hearing them on 80s radio and they helped me go to sleep as a boy who was afraid of monsters when his Mom turned the light off at night.Voices like angels singing me to sleep with a lullaby.Hearing Heart brings back many happy 80s memories.😊😎👍🤟🤟

Hey Jacob.....I hear the tickin of the clock...I'm lying here...the rooms pitch dark...🥹
I’m a 53 yo black woman, and HART saved me from some thangs! Those hit just when I needed them too! I love music it’s so universal! Thank you mom, for putting that openness in me! She loved the Beatles, but wasn’t allowed to enjoy them (She was black in Detroit in the 50’s and 60’s!)

65 years old with no autotune. Better than 99% of the ‘talent’ we get nowadays.
How does that work statistically?
Sure right
Absolutely true
@@hithere981 Beyonce? LOL she sings like a dog barking. Just a pretty face big ass and a good dancers. Her singing is like a chihuahua choking.

A true testament to their talent.
That high note

This brings my mom back to me. She loved these ladies.
Miss you Ma…. Always.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm a 52 year old mom. Heart was my favorite female Rock Band of all time. ~ Love to you and your Rock n' Roll loving mama. May she rest in sweet peace. 😔
See kids, this is called a real artist. No auto tune, just pure talent.
Her abilty to hold those long notes at 66yrs old... is unreal!!
Yesssss... Thank you 🙏🏼
I was just showing my daughter Heart and saying that very thing
Anne Wilson has one of my favorite voices of all time
RAW TALENT ♦️♦️♦️
If Ann's voice doesn't give you goosebumps you are dead inside....❤
Ann*
I loved Heart since the middle 80s , yoe can't go wrong with its music
Well said Dave,well said
And I don’t think it’s diminished any since the earlier days when she was a lot slimmer and FOXIER either !!!
She still belts it out… Case in point : The night she sang “Stairway to Heaven “ @ the KENNEDY CENTER in WASHINGTON D.C. ( in front off the PRESIDENT no less ) to Honor the guys of LEAD ZEPPELIN ; They were all up in the balcony watching with very approving faces. , it was stunning… I thought JIMMIE PAGES SMILE was going freeze on his face😅… Hell , she even had JASON BONAM the original drummers son up there on DRUMS giving them the beat 🥲❗️ OK OK I’m 72 1/2 and i’m sentimental old softie ✌️ 🥲 👍
She is just awesome.
You know you're great when you have an orchestra in backup, there is none better than HEART !!!!!
Yeah it's April, 2024 and my whole family loves Heart!!!!

2024 and still tears when listening to this woman. I was only 11 when I first heard this song. Growing up listening to her sing through the years has been nostalgic. Love 80’s music.

66 years old when this was recorded... and still one of the finest voices ever in the music world. The Wilson sisters are STILL phenomenal.
life has definitely taken its toll on her though. listen to this version from 2007 ruclips.net/video/vXznl5S7ZbI/видео.html
Tim, I was lucky enough to get the chance to see them live back in the mid 80's. They played at the Garden State Arts Center in NJ outside. I know it's harder to get the sound right, and loud enough, etc outside.
They sounded amazing, just amazing. I was totally blown away. These ladies bring it, they're the real deal 😎🤘🏻💯

Me too.
They slowed it down so she had a little more room to show her vocal talents 😄 But yeah totally agree with your comment.
I'm a new fan of this amazing sisters Wow 👌!!

This song is a timeless masterpiece, and this version is a jewel.
Like a fine wine, Ann's voice gets better with time.
Also nancy
She has lost... damn, the word for it. Not range, not a note of it. Not power. "Sustain", perhaps. She can't hold those powerful notes as long as she once could, you can hear her voice crack when she tries. Mathias Forslund , they are / were great vocalists, Janis more for her tone, Stevie also unique.
I just think this lady hits the perfect pitch every time on every song.
sorry but I was a huge Janis Joplin fan and saw her live at Filmore West in 1969....but she was no where even near the talent of Ann Wilson....sorry if that is offensive, but it is my reality

Beautiful song, powerfully sung. The lady's face at 1.19 says everything that love means

When the power is like that with all respect to people who worked very hard on their craft; it’s God-given
.....People forget God created music very powerfully. Please read Ezekiel. Yes this woman is awesome
No god. A fortunate combination of her parents genes through the process of evolution. Hard work and also good fortune to get herself in front of people at a time where rock, microphones and electric guitars had been invented or developed by others. Great singer.
10000% agree
Ann has always been and is still an incredible vocalist. This song is forever in my rotation.
Still gives me chills. What an incredible talent!
now that! ...chills me to the bone! .. great as always
I just keep coming back to this! So powerful, so beautiful. Absolute classic!
OMG, that pristine, powerful note at 2:52. How she can still belt so well and be pitch perfect in her upper register is a modern day miracle. I adore this woman.
Chills at that moment 💟
How is this women not a Diva? I have seen her live maybe 10 times. I was mesmerized and paralyzed. This woman has some amazing pipes. She is in my top 2 or 3 ever. I have seen Mariah Carey, Celine, Adele, Streisand, Aretha, Whitney etc. and she can hold her own with anyone. She deserves just as much attention as any of these other singers. I saw her sing at the Kennedy Center honors in a tribute to Led Zeppelin and it was probably the best show that the Kennedy Center ever had. That’s enough. She is one of my all time favorites!!!
Quite frankly, Z, I think she was always criticized for her weight. I saw her and heart in Albuquerque right when the self-titled album came out. She held my attention the entire night.
Sometimes someone is so good, so intelligent, so...they are not appreciated by the masses.
She will be in history with Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitzgerald, Luciano Pavarati, Beverly Sills, etc....
Yeah, same lane as Tina Turner. Love them!

It’s amazing to me to see how completely enraptured the audience is during this song. It’s one thing to sing the song well, but quite another to hold an audience spellbound, and hanging on every note, as they are in this video. There aren’t many singers that can do it the way Ann Wilson can with this song. If any singer has ever “owned” a song they didn’t write, Ann Wilson owns Alone.

What a beautiful arrangement.
Given that she's sung for years, she could've pulled back on those notes a bit. But she didn't. She not only went for them but added fluorishes and nailed every single one of them. Usually singers' voices lose quality at least somewhat after they've sung and toured for as long as she has. Her vocal chords must be made of steel because they are holding up fantastically. Such a gifted singer.
True. Steve Perry reportedly can't sing like he used to, another reason he declined a comeback for Journey.
she was struggling there a bit bit still nailed it! as one gets older the vocal chords lose the elasticity a bit but Kudos to her.
show us your video master ....
also her physical struggles must have taken a toll on her lungs and diaphragm. She's brave and committed to keep singing. We are lucky.
