When I make “pizza” filled things, I use tomato paste and add no additional moisture which ruins pastry. You can even go one step further and freeze your fillings in your desired shape which makes it even easier to wrap them. I make steamed pizza bao like that all the time. Definitely recommend for an easier time.
Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!
Cut a slice in the center of the marshmallow and insert a few chocolate squares BEFORE frying it'll melt inside also use a silicone insert to easily left the mallows out 👍
He’s not wrong - I got a can of San marzano style tomatoes because they were cheaper and it was a mistake! I had to do so much doctoring to my sauce to get it to not taste sour 😭😂
The Pampered Chef Roller is very handy at times. I would never get rid of mine. If I am working on a larger dough, I use my larger roller. Yet, sometimes, you just need a smaller roller. The small side is perfect for repairing tears in pie dough.
I cook asparagus and brussel sprouts in the air fryer. They come out delicious. I do find the more oil you use the longer they take. I use very little. I bought a bigger one so I didn't have to batch cook. Mine is a Nuwave Brio 14Q. The door opens like a regular oven. It has 3 mesh trays and 1 pan so I can cook potatoes, burgers, and veggies on separate trays at the same time.
Hey Rachel, I just got a (in my opinion) great video idea when you talked about the almond extract.. So many people are allergic to nuts and I feel so bad for them, since the taste is so unique and yummy, soooo… why don’t you order nut free nut aromas (the brand is called foodie flavors) and try baking with them or put them in other fun things, I would absolutely love that🥰🥹🌱🙋🏼♀️
I am so here for all this stellar air fryer content (pizza related always a win!) And the icing on the cherry is Chris’s Troy and Abed in the morning T-shirt 🤌🏻 i want one! So perfect 🤩
There’s this seasoning blend called “vegetable magic” and I swear it is actually magic. Great on asparagus, I’m sad when we eat out and the asparagus doesn’t have it 😂
You don't need give the veg enough space in an air fryer. I air fry broccoli and carrots all the time and I just dump them in and 2 or 3 times during the cooking I take them out and mix them up. Works very well.
I have an air fryer toaster oven that fits a quarter sheet pan, and it's pretty much the only way I do green beans and asparagus anymore. I've also done them in my parents' Ninja Foodi, which has a lot of real estate. My recommendation is to make sure you're using enough oil, and cook them hot and fast. 380 is too low. I'd go at least 425.
@@madmudd96 oh I didn't realize there were different kinds of Foodi 😅 my parents have the flattish oven style one that you can flip up to save counter space.
When cooking veggies in the air fryer, it may help to give them a shake halfway through their cooking time so everything gets evenly cooked (and I usually don't get too hung up on everything being in an even layer).
For the pizza bites if you want to use fresh mozzarella try just using a slice of it instead of cutting into chunks. You'd have less chance of overfilling them and you could put more pepperoni or whatever on top of the cheese.
I do air fryer green beans almost every day. From frozen, lightly oiled, no-salt seasoning, 370°, 4 minutes…then I lightly salt them and toss with parm once they’re done. They’re delicious and still fresh/crispy on the inside!
We use our Ninja Foodi air fryer (& pressure cooker!) on a daily basis, usually several times a day and have for the past 10 years. I also teach cooking classes on how to cook with the air fryer & pressure cooker. We follow a Keto/low carb lifestyle so veggies are a BIG item on our menu and we LOVE veggies cooked in the air fryer..Brussels Sprouts, green bean fries & baked green beans, cauliflower steaks, popcorn cauliflower, fried 'rice', asparagus, peppers & onions, stuffed mushrooms, garlic butter roasted mushrooms, broccoli and more. There is SOOOO much you can fix in the air fryer beyond fries, nuggets and marshmallows ;)
At first thought I need to get my glasses before I realized that the focus is playing games today. Not a big deal of course... It just made me doubt myself for a sec 😅😅❤❤
Lime in macroons....Coconut song stuck in my head. 😂 🎶Put the lime in the coconut, and drink them both up. Put the lime in the coconut and you feel better. 🎶
Every time I watch your air fryer videos I wonder why you have such a small one. We have a Cuisinart which is a toaster oven/air fryer. The basket is so much bigger so for our family of 4 it’s perfect. I almost never need to do multiple batches.
I started really getting into gardening this year. I'm in Canada. Specifically NS and the cost of groceries has skyrocketed. But besides the point. I found out how long it takes to grow and harvest asparagus and I truly think everyone should know so they can appreciate the fact that it had to grow for a few years before it becomes an actual spear that you buy at the store and eat
@@kelseymorine-reid5863 it really is surprising. I only learned a few years ago. Some of my plants were one year old crowns I purchased, but my healthiest plants are those I started from seed. They are three years old now.
Put a couple of little Debbie oatmeal cream pies in the air fryer. 350×4 minutes. Take them out and topped them with vanilla ice cream, serve immediately. They are absolutely the best thing on earth. Something happens to the cream… It caramelizes, and has a completely different taste.
Recipe! I found this while looking for a low carb alternative to potatoes.. radishes! Spritz with olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt, rosemary, thyme, or whatever herbs you like. Roast on 400° until fork tender.

Rach, if you're ever looking to get a new air fryer, look into the "Power air fryer oven" it has three racks, a rotisserie spick and a rotisserie basket. I can't live without this air fryer, it's the only type I've ever known and it blows my mind people are making do with the basket air fryers.
Brussels sprouts in the air fryer, then smush then with a cup, top with garlic and cheese and back into the air fryer for a couple of minutes. You can’t make them fast enough.
When a song tells you to put lime and coconut together - it's gotta be good. "You put the lime in the coconut and drink them both up" we just gunna eat instead of drink.
Also have definitely made s’mores in the air fryer. Put a Graham cracker on the bottom so it’s easier to pick up and they get a bit toasty, then smoosh the chocolate on top after with the second marshmallow ❤❤❤
When I was in high school, marshmallows in the toaster oven (before air fryers 😅) were my jammmmm. I’m commenting this before you’ve actually put them in so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 these are just as good! Edit: oh god I just saw it I gotta buy some marshmallows again😂
You guys were soooo right about those tomatoes. My husband and I just made pizzas on the grill (a summer staple for us) and instead of proper sauce I just chopped up those tomatoes and added some seasoning and the pizzas were AMAZING!!! I’ll never ever do it any other way!!
Loving the marshmallows idea!!! Can't wait to try it out. The pizza things look yum too. Wish I could do the coconut but alas Id try to croak so it's a no go. They do look delicious tho.
I've never tried asparagus or green beans in an airfryer but I do my roasted broccoli, Brussel sprouts, carrots, and various squashes in it and they turn out sublime.
It’s better to make the pizza balls with a pizza dough. We make them with Pillsbury’s pizza dough that’s by the biscuits. And we don’t add the tomato sauce to it. We dip it afterward in marinara.
I am currently looking into getting an airfryer, but there are so many, I barely know where to start with choosing one 😬🙈 The asparagus just remind me of white asparagus season here and that I need to get some ASAP lol. But they don't go in the airfryer 😅 We prepare white asparagus the classic German way with hollandaise and it's the best thing ever. 👌👌
if you put the san marzano tomatoes on a cheese cloth to drain out the excess water its a good consistency for pizza. I think add a bit of sliced garlic , chilli oil, salt a tad sugar and mix it well and that makes a really nice pizza sauce
