How to save DPI to your Logitech G Pro X Superlight's On-board memory

- Simple and easy way to save dpi without the software running next time. You can use as many slots as you like. But don't forget to choose which slot you have the dpi saved in. Make a good use of your mouse's on-board memory. You can also use Logitech onboard memory manager.
If this video doesnt help you on first try. Try these method. First OFF your onboard memory mode. Then restore default profile on all slots. Then it should show PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2 etc.... ON your onboard memory mode again. Return to change dpi. Go back to settings. OFF onboard memory mode. Enable slot 2 and click on slot 2, click on REPLACE WITH DESKTOP/Default. Then disable the first slot. ON onboard memory manager again lastly. Close GHUB.
No bullshitting around or pushing for a 5 minute video. Straight to the point. Thank you.
Cheers mate!
It is incredible how Logitech keeps releasing so botched software, this guide helped. Thanks!
Yeah. Welcome.
Thank you so much. I don't know why Logitech made it so hard to save a custom DPI when GHub is closed.
Had no clue this was how it works. Thanks!
Great video, quick and simple and no annoying/ loud music. Thx for the guide
Hey guys, my current g pro x superlight was under warranty claimed because it had loose mouse bottom plastic which resulted in double click feel for the primary button. Logitech was kind enough to give me a brand new one for free. Very satisfied. My new one is 2021 week 28 revised version. Primary clicks are much softer and side buttons are slightly less mushy. There is also a new firmware update version 25.1.18
Enjoy it while it lasts before left click act weird.
OMG I've had this mouse for months and didn't know I could do this. Thanks!
Thanks for help. I have set dpi to 400 800 1200 1600* 3200 and set first rear button to change dpi function. Then saved it to second pance in onboard memory. Now i have mouse with DPI changing button without G-Hub :)
Glad it works.
Thank u, i saw near 8 videos to put away my problem, and only this video could help me, thank u again
dude finally i get how to use the onboard memory. logitech software is so stupid
Actually just came in clutch with this
Thanks a lot, really looking for this setting for a long time!
they make this so hard to do but thanks to you i did it in 5 seconds, thanks!
W video 3 years later
Thank you so much that was much helpful and only in 30 seconds...
Glad it helped!
Thanks. I still had to fiddle a bit, but I got the point.
GHub is quite simply the worst software I've ever had the misfortune to use. It takes something quite simple and makes it completely incomprehensible. I'd like to use onboard mode because my games have started alt-tabbing randomly, and it's only been happening after I started using GHub. Now I can close it & rule it out as a cause.
... and yes, I can confirm the alt-tabbing stopped once I stopped running GHub.
legit just a easy guide, wp bro
😃👍Glhf bro.
Thank you so much!!!!! It helped me with my G Pro Wireless OG
Cheers!
Thanks, It does help me to get rid of the GHub.
That helped a lot, thank you!
Only video that helped thanks
Cheers!
just what i was loolking for. Thank you!
No problem! Thanks for watching.
best tutorial out there! ty!
Thank you so much!
Cheers!
Ty
Simple and to the point thank you
Oh wow, that works! How weird. Every time I set the profile for the onboard profile 1, it resets itself back to "default" after dis/reconnecting the mouse. But using profile 2 seems to do the trick for some reason. As pretty much everyone said, their software is really a POS.
Thanks bro so much 🎉
Your a Genius
Just trial and error.
Nice m8
i love you bro ❤️
life saver thank youuu
Thanks so much.
i love you ty
THANK YOU!!!
Thanks

First OFF your onboard memory mode. Then restore default profile on all slots. Then it should show PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2 etc.... ON your onboard memory mode again. Return to change dpi. Go back to settings. OFF onboard memory mode. Enable slot 2 and click on slot 2, click on REPLACE WITH DESKTOP/Default. Then disable the first slot. ON onboard memory manager again lastly. hey, i’m thinking about getting the super light but i play on xbox, if i use my laptop with the logitech software and save the 800 dpi to onboard memory will the 800 dpi be the same on my xbox/save over to my xbox?
Yes
@@LokeKQ thank you
thank you so much bro
Anyway I can do this on the phone as I don’t have a pic
I don’t have a pc so I cannot change the dpi ):
@@Boi-dh1ms Hey bro and how to charge the mouse battery that I also have PC and do not know how to charge the mouse :(
hey bro how do you have the dpi in different colors can you explain me how to do it?
I can drag the colour but I can't choose a custom colour. I can set the dpi for the colour however you cant have more than one colour of the same dpi. Lets say blue is 1800, but you want orange to be 1800. So you change blue to a random dpi then change orange to 1800.
@@LokeKQ How can I put a color, where or how :c
idk please help me
@@symzx4042 The only way to add colour is to add more dpi into the slots, the long white line. Just click on it and more slots/coloured dots will come out, you cant choose a specific colour.
@@LokeKQ I get it. Thank You
legend
still works
INCREDIBLE LOGITECH JUST INCREDIBLE, how unintuitive and dogshit this software is and and STILL is. A 3 year old video is still relevant on how to save basic DPI settings to the mouse memory, and delete this trash software. The old software was 1000x more user friendly
ty bro
Can u do tutorial how to put macro in the on board memory please?
Ok i will do.
Hi there fellow mate, according to Logitech's technical advisor on Reddit. He has mentioned that there is no possible way to save macros into the mouse on-board memory. In order to use the macros script, the software must be running in the background. It really do sucks I understand, but all the mouse can save is the light and dpi. I have tried saving even just few clicks as macro, upon clicking the button there was no clicking or any function just as basic as sending text or opening application.
@@LokeKQ dodk u try on board memory logitech program
Thanks a lot bro
Ты гений, спасибо

I have a question can you make it 700 dpi by any chance?
First OFF your onboard memory mode. Then restore default profile on all slots. Then it should show PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2 etc.... turn ON your onboard memory mode again. Return to change dpi. Go back to settings. turn OFF onboard memory mode. Enable slot 2 and click on slot 2, click on REPLACE WITH DESKTOP/Default. Then disable the first slot. Turn ON onboard memory manager again lastly. Close GHUB.
@@LokeKQ Thanks
Do you know if I can set the on board memory on one pc if I plug it into a second without g hub will it be at the same settings/dpi
Yes.
If i did this settings, my mouse will be working and have such time of working that was before, yes? Or this settings is spending more charger of mouse?
It will work. No spend more charger of mouse.
@@LokeKQ I think it's one of the best mouses in the world, how do you think ?
@@PeripateticExplorer Yes, it is the best and it is available everywhere.
holy fuck thank you
Hi, I would like to ask you some information regarding this mouse... But how many Dpi is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight preset with? From how many to how many Dpi? I know that Logitech software exists to change the DPI, but unfortunately I don't have a PC and my mouse is connected to my Xbox Series If you know a way could you also tell me please?
Thanks in advance.
Its 600 dpi on default.
I know this is old but I try to map my dpi up to “p” and dpi down to “L” and they don’t work but I set back to default it works why is that? Sorry I’m a noob new to pc
Its either the settings wasnt save into the mouse or the app isnt running in the background.
thank u so much bro! why is it that hard to change the default dpi tho 😭😭
😂
Someones gotta do the trial and error stuff just so others can do it easily without hassle.
thx
I used to use 1600 but switched to 800. But it keeps randomly switching to 1600 even when I have every profile set to 800 and on board memory mode on. Any fixes?
Reset all profiles, disable all except the first one then try the video steps again.
Close GHUB.
Thanks🙏😩
Ur a god
When I start the on board memory can i use my mouse with this settings on my PlayStation?
I have never tried this before. But the on board memory do work when i use it on other Pc. I assume it works on PS as well.
this should not be this hard
Bro I need help and I dont know what to do because today I got the g pro super light and I downloaded the app and it says to update the firmware and I’m confused on what to do it says the pro x super light must be connected via the supplied usb cable to proceed with the firmware update please use the cable that came with your device and I’m just confused on what to do can you like maybe post a video on how to do that or something
Use the cable it came with. Just plug into mouse then to computer to update. You cant update the mouse with the wireless dongle.
Any USB A to Micro USB will do.
Hello bro you know how much dpi factory mouse you have that I do not have a PC horita to change and wanted to know how much dpi has without changing anything ??
1600dpi factory mouse
can i make it 800dpi in csgo and 400 on desktop? and when i alt tab from csgo i also wanna have 400 dpi in desktop while csgo is running
Yes, you can.
cheers
Cheers!
can u please help me out? i wanna be able to set my scroll wheel, to where i click it, it changes to the next set dpi. do i activate on board memory, set the dpi cycle for button 3 and then im good or?
Click 'Assignments', on the right side of screen click on the 'Middle Click' then under 'SYSTEM' find the 'DPI Cycle' and double click on it. To save onboard, do steps as shown in video.
@@LokeKQ u leave the onboard memory mode on when u exit the software right? so itll keep the dpi’s and dpi cycle for scroll wheel ?
@@icyy999 Yes, i leave it on when i exit the software. If it works then it means that the onboard memory is working otherwise try the steps again. Thanks.
It doesn't work when I try it on my ps5

Thanks, the UX of this software are terrible
Am on console but I don’t get what any of this means pls explain (I have a Logitech mouse)
Like Ik the g hub and other things but do you mean on bored memory for logic tech
@@enviroyt1938 Yes. You will need a pc with ghub to do these settings. The changes will be reflected when you use it on console. The dpi can be changed to any you like. The video is to show you how to save it into the mouse so that your dpi will be the same when you use it on any device whether on console or on pc.
Why is my program different?
Will memory thing save to ps4 too? Pls comment
It will be saved into the mouse. Whichever computer or console you use will be the same dpi as you set.
How do you have your dpi speeds at different colors
The colours came default. You can change dpi for each colour.
GHUB is the worst software on the planet, complete disgrace

Can you put it at 200 dpi? If anybody knows please reply I really want to know.
First OFF your onboard memory mode. Then restore default profile on all slots. Then it should show PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2 etc.... turn ON your onboard memory mode again. Return to change dpi to 200. Hah! My DPI just keeps going back to 800. Logitech is garbage
Is it ok now?

Bro. How to lock dpi in one sensitivity. I have dpi change button at the scroll button and it keeps on changing unintentionally.
I honestly think you should unbind dpi change at scroll wheel.

Thanks
Still works
Expect no update from Logitech.😂
