Ive been in NA (Narcotics Anonymous) for over a year now. Been clean since 3/1/23. I can honestly say i wouldn't be clean without NA. I know a lot of people who can say the same thing about AA
the trick is hiding in a jack shack (porta potty} when its hot, hit the pen, cough your lungs out, go back outside and it feels 10 degrees cooler. I've done it many a time lol

I used to use these rolling papers that were white with a brown mottled end (made to look like a cigarette when rolled)...I'd roll tobacco in the bottom end & had the top half rolled with some BANGING cheeb. Smoked them right on site around people (albeit a little bit away). I'd hold my hit, then remove the smoke from my mouth just before exhaling (so it looked like a natural ciggy pull), etc/full camouflage style... You'd see the boss intently sniffing/cruising by eyeing everyone up. If I hit the tobacco by then, I'd purposely blow cig smoke his way - it was pretty hilarious. Good times~

The best hair product I've ever used is this old fashioned stuff called "Groom & Clean". It's not a tight holding stuff like hair gel, but it's not greasy like pomade either. It gets my hair to just the right spot of not being dry, but not a greasy mess either, it's the perfect medium. Because I wash my hair every day, I work in a gross factory and I have horrible allergies, there's no way I'm going to bed with all that in my hair and getting in my pillow.

as someone also with long hair my wash cycle is dont wash my hair for two days not even let it get wet then I shampoo wash that out put in my conditioner then LEAVE THE CONDITIONER IN and let it dry out dont use a towel to dry your hair its a lot better to dry it out with the air also side note to Sam constantly shampooing doesnt mean your head produces more oils it just means your scalp is more likely to become dry and flaky also side note the brand of shampoo and conditioner you use matters
the shampoo and conditioner parts are true, depending on the hair type and length you leave the conditioner in for a couple minutes THEN RINSE not leave it completely in, the shampoo transition period takes around 2 weeks before your hair improves although do shampoo once a week to get your hair clean, the hair will do the rest of the work
As a 1 shampoo a week person, you still need to scrub and clean your hair every time you shower, just with water and no shampoo. Before I did this my hair was in 1 of 2 states, dry as hell or a greasy mess. You have to give your body time to adapt during the switch too, because as you said it will over compensate for a while.

Ive got long hair and have for most of my life. Not shampooing often lets your hair naturally oil itself. If you stop using conditioner it gets super oily cause your hair is pushing out that artificial oil to let itself make its own oils. Once you go like a month of no conditioner with shampooing once or twice a week your hair will naturally oil itself and you can strip it with shampoo now and then to let it re oil itself
Your scalp adapts to not being washed. I used to wash it every day and if I went a single day without washing it would be greasy. But here I am today almost a month without washing and it's not anywhere near as bad as it used to be 1 day without washing. You have to slowly increase the number of days between washes. It's kinda of like exercising, you just have to slowly and repeatedly push yourself beyond your previous limit Also: if you're not washing it with soap, don't get it wet. If you're swimming, IDK you're on your own
