On parenting:
A huge part of why little boys are the way they are is because a lot, like, a LOT of parents don't raise their boys at all.
That's also where the "thank god we're having a boy, I don't know how I could raise a girl with all of their emotions" thing comes from.
Boys have "those emotions," too, but they get suppressed by their parents and environment ("stop crying, boys don't cry"), because the cultural expectation is that boys are JUST supposed to be destructive and nothing else.
Which then comes true in the form of a self-fulfilling prophecy, because if all of a child's emotions are ignored, the child is going to find something that WILL get attention: breaking shit
@@Hegataro it's not a poor parenting problem, so much as a "only-one-parent" problem with boys. Also, if you raise your boys to cry constantly, that can fuck them up just as well. Easy to raise a psycho, I think boys are harder to stick the landing with.

Idk if you read the comments, but Poob, if you see this, the US Army harnessed lightning and there's really cool footage of them using this prototype in Alaska to CAUSE lightning strikes down onto this machine. The concept in practice was to use mild 'weather control' chemicals to force rain clouds to gather, then activate this device to force down a lightning strike. If they had developed the prototype into something beacon-sized and launchable, the USA could've been calling down lightning artillery lol but it was super impractical and expensive. An absolute waste of money when conventional artillery does it better and faster.

The reason I don't wear shoes in my house is because feet will start to smell if you keep them enclosed. So I'm usually barefoot and when outside I wear flip flops when it's not below 0. But in the winter when I have to wear boots outside or when I'm at work all day and get home and finally take my feet out of my boots after a 9 hour day of hard work, they stink. It's so disgusting when people take their foot out of their shoe in public for the first time in several hours and they just let the stink out. It's the worst. That's why being barefoot and wearing flip flops is superior, as long as you shower regularly your feet will never smell.

As someone who has helped raise siblings as well as babysat a lot of siblings, the trick is turning them against each other. That way they're warring with the other and too distracted to bother you or gang up on you. This is as easy as tossing a favorite stuffy of one into the other's room and then playing dumb.
