@Nick does Quad drumming I work on the recording end of things. We have click tracks we play for drummers and others in studio used to set and maintain a perfect tempo. These tempos are in beats per minute. I have worked with quite a few drummers that can accurately tap almost any beat per minute I request without needing to hear a click track first. You may have been taught different highschool drummer. Most professionals understand that tempo is time and Internationally time is measured in seconds minutes hours days years centuries ect.
Jeff Parker I don’t know if you know this, but they memorize 12 min of music for their show, and the music isn’t really repetitive, it’s difficult, they do stick tricks but they don’t do 500 measures of strait sixteenth notes before lmao
@Jeff Parker, well you clearly know next to nothing about drumlines/ percussion, because if you did, you’d know that the blue devils memorize 12 minutes of choreography, extremely difficult music, and play clean. First off this corps is filled with individuals who do this year round... on top of work and school.
