One thing that is really attracting me to this mode of travel is that you have great freedom of movement. I have flown overseas many times, and find the confinement of airplanes almost unbearable. Just seeing you standing there with the wind and waves inspires me to adopt cargo ship travel. Onward!

My husband is working in grimaldi line as a chief cook 💖
I worked on another vessel of Grimaldi, we did not allow passengers to roam around the ship. They where restricted to there cabin, mess room and muster station. having people which are not familiar to the ship roaming around freely is not safe, in fact, there was a passenger who got injured while trying to go around trying to explore.

My dream is to be on a cargo ship someday. I want to travel from Germany to the USA. It looks really great and I love to watch your videos! It's a great way of traveling and not flying. I don't want to fly because of the environment and the climate change! How much did your room on this ship cost? Just to get an impression :)

Using your videos to research a trip from Charleston, SC to the English Channel. Really helpful! You mentioned the Grande Mediterraneo being much larger than the container ship you traveled on. Is that true? Usually the vehicle-carrying ships look much smaller than the large container ships, at least when it comes to length. Is a ship like the Grande able to carry more? Also, seems like a vehicle-carrying ship would be better for views, assuming the deck isn't loaded with containers. Thanks!

+harish m there is both available you can ask the chef to make you veggie meals but keep in mind it can be an inconvenience to them. Our chef happened to not mind at all
