This is the way a modeling amp should be showcased..a lot of people are making videos using the horrible presets and it doesn't give the mustang series any justice..very well done man,I love the way you gave the mustang V it's duley deserved props..thanks
Mustang III v2 is the best $300 amp out there. Very versatile. The Fender amp models are spot on. It gets very loud. I have yet to crank the master volume past 6.
I got the Fender Mustang IV amplifier a few months ago. I was jamming with buddy that had Egnator tweaker n it sat comfortably in the mix. It really is a Great amp digital or not, I Love it. His Egnator had a little more beef, but my Mustang was clear and beautiful. It held up well with his tube amp. I particularly like the intro clean, twin, 65 deluxe amp models, for $499, can't go wrong at all, I'm digging the Mustang!!!!!!!!!!! Tube purist don't know what versatility is all about...... Good tone to the ears. Peace
These really aren't crappy amps. I've been using the older model for a few years, and I have to say I like it for all of my sounds the best. I own a few good tube amps but I just really like the mustang. I can get the sound of my twin reverb cranked with out cranking it and it sounds really similar a little different but not worse just different. Even for distortion I prefer it to using my big muff pi with my twin reverb. I plan on getting this new amp head.
one thing they dont talk about is recording options i use mixcraft and i plug my head in the laptop w the usb and dont even have to mic the cab its so awsome and records killer sound on top of playing along the monitors without and hearing the cab at the same timeit will show up when u arm ur track and then record brotha
Dont know about the Mustang 1 mine is the IV,I just tried Damons sound I love blues by the way and preset 16 Fender 57 deluxe. Ibanez 335 type guitar. The sound is right there .The tone if you have one of these max sag max bias 4x12 Instant awesome big fat blues sound.I am not a valve snob I listen with my ears not my eyes.A very good combo or amp as this is.When you think how much fender want for a 2 x 12 supersonic. This is amazing value
I am 57 you cant be to old haha ,the preset sounds are lovely. You just need to adjust the volume. All of the fender amp models sound more than very good.Once you are comfortable with the amp you can start adjusting more if you wish or just leave it alone .The IV combo is pretty good (better than me)
It would be great if they had a database of popular songs with all the amp settings and effects worked out. Just click the link and you sound like the original artist.
I guess its subjective but to my ears A/B'ed with a splitter pedal it sounds comparable enough for me to prefer it to the real thing. I can get the same feeling with more versatility and instantly access different settings. The American 90s distortion is perfect for me. Some of the effects can be pretty bad but overall I think most of them are very good.
this is silly. i replaced my vintage blackface twin with one when i was moving and needed the money. they are very good amps for what they are intended to do: sound like fenders. it may not be my old twin, but it is alarmingly close in some ways and tbh your last statement sounds like someone with biases against digital technology say. the other amp models (like the vox one) aren't great and they aren't perfect but suggesting a blues deluxe of all things over one is... very questionable imo.
I just got Mustang 1 amp and I'm getting a very annoying hum/buzz sound ..on all presets especially on metal preset if I turn the master or volume knob up ..
Sounds like a grounding problem.. Does your amp have a digital screen that shows its own dot matrix graphics of knobs,& also have REAL knobs like the V? I had a Super Champ II head with a couple tubes in its preamp.. it had digi effects & USB to connect to PC, but I didn't bother to check out FUSE Software. Back to the humming problem- U moved the amp to a different outlet right? That'd hopefully tell U if it was your outlet that was causing it. Anything else plugged into the other wall outlet opposite your amp- 1st off ALWAYS plug amps into the wall, not a 'surge protecting' unit that has 8 additional outlets for microwaves, driers, refrigerators,PCs or space heaters. Anything else even just plugged into it other wall outlet, any electric device with moving parts can emit waves that FM(or AM,UHF,VHF,or Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) may pick up if the noise that whatever moving parts make if the noise generates a wave thats within a radio's pickup frequency; & even this cheap PEAVY Backstage 110- when i would saturate the amp to get that cheap-ass 80s distortion where U can't tell if there is actually guitar playing the notes being pushed into speedy guitar heaven! Never owned another Peavy.. Anyway, with that cheapo overdrive where all notes end up having similar volume, I'd pick up various other signals floating around(it sounds kinda cool-but actually its complete opposite.. Now,in my case,my single coil pickups were finding radio waves and simply mic'ing them into my Peavy. I hope I translated my thoughts correctly- Oh, guitar cables-ANYTHING that has potential energy has the ability to break into weakly soldered connections inside anyone's rig & equipment & add interference; usually we hopefully get what we paid for. That being said, send in that Warranty card TODAY,& after a couple weeks make Fender's crew fix the problem they sold to you.
is it possible to plug a boss me 25 straight into this cab with out the head. at the moment i am using a vox vt 20+ combo and i was wondering if you could do the following: GUITAR-ME 25- CAB(NO HEAD) Cheers
not in any way informative.. U don't even play the amp- this wasted 6min. of my life. Make that 12min. total- DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, it may as well be animated.

Definately the Mustang III V1. Way more presets, options and Volume to be found on the 3!
This demo couldnt be better im thinking about buying this amp and he is using the same guitar that i have
What'll be better ? This amp set up or a fender fm100h
Depends what you're looking to acheive. Are you looking to gig or just use at home? I'd go for the mustang as there are more tones available.
gig
The Doom Balloon the mustang V is great for gigging and doesn't get "muddied "out at high volumes..excellent amp
It would be great if they had a database of popular songs with all the amp settings and effects worked out. Just click the link and you sound like the original artist.
If you are playing through traditional Celestion speakers (and not XLR out) you would not use speaker emulation, correct?

He said the power amp is now much quieter so I am hoping that this means no more fizz.
Does the V2 fix the really annoying fizz problem of the version one?
What do you suggest should I get a Fender Mustang II V2 or a Fender mustang III V1?? They Have The same price :S
You CAN use just the head unit on the mustang 5 if you wanted to right?
That is a beautiful looking geeeeetar
i would take the mustang III V2 Combo! it costs only a bit more and i think its better
Does it come with a footswitch?
Ohh so what should i buy??
If I wanted to run it direct but only on mono which xlr output would I plug into?
Doesn't matter unless you are playing a stereo effect. Otherwise its mono left or right.
it is solid state right?
MeTaLdUdE02 Nope, modelling...

can you use 2 cabinets with this amp
Hopefully.
Great cleans come from these amps, but when it comes to distortion i like pedals more. They're more versatile

compared to the new marshall codes that are coming out these will be wiped off the face of the earth. marshall codes look and sound soo much better.
Just too complicated and fiddly for an old geezer like me.
Ooghhh so ur saying my guitar isn't good
sweaty ed sheeran makes me feel uncomfortable
Why was he even holding that guitar? what a waste
Stop talking and PLAY, goddammit
