I bought the Mustang 1 for a practice amp and I'm pretty blown away by the tones possible. I might buy the 'Stang V as a performance rock amp, I'm so impressed.
@telecaster1961 totally agree with you. In fact many of the best tones that I have ever heard were from the Blues Jr. and if I had to choose one amp to get me the best live and recorded sound, I would probably pick the Blues Jr. over Dr. Z's or even the bigger and more expensive Fender amps. I recently sold a 15w tube amp that I loved, to buy the Mustang III because I have 4 kids, can only practice at night and needed a great versatile amp to play at low volume. I am LOVING the Mustang III
I compared the Mustang to the new Blues Junior. The BJ has real, dynamic Fender clean and crunchy tones, the Mustang is way more versatile, but sounds flat in direct comparison. I bought the BJ.
@skateboardjaw No, but they sound a lot more like tube amps than modeling amps used to that's for sure. The Fender amp models are REALLY good. The "Marshall", "Vox" and "Mesa" ones are OK but not spectacular.
@rmweav11 The Mustang series IS fender producing an amp with better components. Yep, it's a digital modeling amp, which we all know that tone junkies hate. But lots of us are learning and/or don't have the $ to spend on a tube amp and all of the required pedals. I chose the mustang III over the Blues Jr because of how many amp models sound amazing on it. I sold a nice blackheart amp to buy it. It does a better job modeling the great vintage Fender amps than any digital amp I have ever tried
@flipside1974 Of course anyone is free to buy the amp he/she likes. The Mustang is an nice amp if you want lots of tones at a reasonable price. I'm just saying the Blues Junior has TONE and will cut through the mix at small clubgigs. Modelingamps get often lost in the bandmix. For homepractice, recording or rehearsels the Mustang is an versatile amp.
@RTru3man I've tried the Marshall MA tube amp and honestly i wasnt impressed. Same thing with the Vypyr, i can honestly say that i like this amp over several tube amps. I currently own the 100w version lol
i hope to god it's possible to achieve the same tone as jimmy page with this amp somehow hehe i just bought the amp but i'm still saving for the guitar itself. i love playin me some zeppelin.
To this day I still have never heard a demo of a modeling amp that gives a thick, spanky tele sound like we often hear in modern country. The sounds are either nasty metal or plain Twin like clean sounds. I personally don't think the modeling amps can do it anyway. You would have to just change the speakers to some that offer easy break up.
Hey! Do you maybe know, if it's listening to music on mustang 3 bad for an amp speaker? I know it has aux input to conect it with many different devices, but is it bad to use it as computer speaker? More or less low volume... Thank you.
can this amp play metal? if it can, then im buying it....i currently have a line 6 spider 4 15w and im looking to upgrade EVERYTHING, im more than likely gonna buy a Ibanez S570DXQM and im looking for an amp under 350$, this looks like it would work, buy idk, i'll have to try it out
Cool, but I'd rather have something simple. Just give me an amp that has an on off switch, lets me screw with the gain, bass etc and a dirty and clean channel and I'll be happy lol.
i love Fender, but it kinda seems like a lotta bullshit on this amp. i like to stay as close to plug and play as possible. but whatevs, that's just me.
Sean Ruiz. Dude Fender is not an English company, Fender is originally an American company based here in the United States, yes the language spoken in this RUclips channel is english, but American english with an American accent, that I can agree with you, I'm only correcting you.
why won't fender spend money by producing amps with better components and speakers and work on making better guitars with better parts and electronics and make them more affordable for the average musician instead of wasting money in crap like this? Ugh.. digital computerized crap.

Great commerical. This was a blast!!
Brandon Goehner is playing a 1959 Custom Fender Telecaster
Very informative, thank you. This Mustang V I bought is friggin awesome.

I believe the Mustang III has just become my favourite & next Amplifier :)

Rickenbacker 620's sound awesome with the 65 twin setting
Great sounding amps.
@skateboardjaw No, but they sound a lot more like tube amps than modeling amps used to that's for sure. The Fender amp models are REALLY good. The "Marshall", "Vox" and "Mesa" ones are OK but not spectacular.
Fender amps rule. Love my Hot Rod Deville and 50 watt G-DEC. Would love to have the new G-DEC.
AWESOME!!!
VERY!

@muskypucker I think it's tailored to the audience!! We are not looking at Eric Clapton here.

Figure it out? It's been 6 years :D
@GuitarVee
So you think its worth of buying this amp?

sometimes these demos start with ..'Distortion''!..in this case they do have clean sounds for a tele..but u have to dial it in....
why does my amp say memory locked
@skateboardjaw No they're solid state.

@blooperjohn just download the PDF manual from the official site :)
Where is the damn chorus?

plenty of metal distortions in this amp..
Okay, I bought the III, and it DID NOT come with instructions !
are they tube amps?
HIGH SPEED AMPED UP AND LOUD!!!!
Cool, but I'd rather have something simple. Just give me an amp that has an on off switch, lets me screw with the gain, bass etc and a dirty and clean channel and I'll be happy lol.
anyone knows where i can get the real amp names for the presets which comes with this amplifiers?
@flipside1974 planning to get me a mustang iii i hope is not that difficult as my line 6 pod xt live was....
@erbins14 it has only auto-wah
But it does have an expression pedal that can work, like a wah
i love Fender, but it kinda seems like a lotta bullshit on this amp. i like to stay as close to plug and play as possible. but whatevs, that's just me.
Great amp but really lousy music played on this video. The amp deserves a lot better.
Mustang 3!!!! Way better
WHY FENDER ONLY SPEAK IN ENGLISH ? VIDEOS ARE ONLY IN ENGLISH ?
because they be an "english" company,......HELLO!
yes they are an english company, but they sell all over the world. they would to speak in spanish too
hugo allard escanilla alarcon English is a universal language, maybe YOU should learn to speak it...? That's called an education...
Martijn van den Akker there are more languages than English, what if he lived in a different country? not knowing it doesn’t mean he is not educated
Sean Ruiz. Dude Fender is not an English company, Fender is originally an American company based here in the United States, yes the language spoken in this RUclips channel is english, but American english with an American accent, that I can agree with you, I'm only correcting you.
That sounds like a holy fucking nightmare. I'll stick with a twin reverb.

Will never buy a modeling amp again. Manufacturers don’t support them with a crap.
