Dagan - great review of this amp which I bought not too long ago. The Fender twin reverb ( on the orange bank ) sounds fantastic. You can get some terrific tones from this amp which you clearly demonstrated. The only downside I think is Fender fuse which is not always fully supported by Fender. Great job! Have a great day from Phoenix, Arizona.
I enjoy watching videos of people who love what they do. I am looking for a practice amp and presentation excitement means a lot. Thanks for the excellent demo.
Bought this amp on a whim to replace an really nice Orange amp that decided to self destruct. I cant believe how authentic those fender clean tones are for s relatively inexpensive modeling amp. Its got amazing tone when simulating a twin reverb , bassman and deluxe. The none fender tones are very good,.not totally 100% spot on but damn close. I have yet to utilize the USB or fender fusion software,.but that because im still having a blast with the presets after 6 months

BRO WILL I BE ABLE TO play every song properly on it for home use, I am shifting to electric now, I want to try out every genre from Linkin Park to Hendrix to Beatles. is it good for that?
I play the electric violin and I am thinking about buying this amp since I want to be able to play 80s rock like Mötley Crüe and Van Halen. Thanks for the review! 🤘
I'm staying for 3 months in Pine Mountain, CA (originally from Toronto) and was looking for a super versatile and inexpensive amp to use for my time here (planning on practicing several hours a day) and for $119.00 +tax USD you can't really find anything better for the value, super happy with it. Maybe the best starter amp / portable amp out there today. 10/10 for what it is!
I have gigged since I was 15 and am now 67. I have a pile of amps but since I got one of these, it is all I use. I put an SM58 in front of it and it sounds great through the PA. The amp models are great and easy to tweak with the FUSE software. I have everything where I want it and bought another one and made a duplicate for backup. No more lugging a large, heavy amp for me. Those stay in the home studio and are now just for recording.
My next amp that i will buy , my friend. the best amp for a low budget and with love for Fender sound of the 60s and 70s. i think this is very cheap price for such a great amp.
For anyone who buys this amp... DEFINITELY use the Fuse software to get overdrive and heavy tones from this thing. The stock overdrive tones sound like absolute tosh, but I found more options on the Fuse software that salvaged a better heavier tone out of this thing. Overall, it's a fair purchase. Got mine for 75$, and it's worth every cent. However, it's only worth 75$.
I know I’m like four years late to the party. But this dude is an awesome reviewer. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed during a guitar review. Solid English wit. Keep it up bro.
Looks like a sick amp in terms of customisation especially for its price, it may not have the best quality sounds but for 99 quid i will take that easily
Theres one of these and a vox vt20x, saw your demo of that one too. Gotta say this v2 seems better just due to the cleans sounding so damn good. I like how the controls are more accessible Both are 50usd. Maybe I should just buy both 😂
I bought an enormous Peavey 100 watt tube head I connected to a 2x12 speaker head in December. When I was in the music shop a guy was getting a guitar and amp for his son for Christmas. The salesperson was showing him this particular amp and I thought “wow Fender has certainly come a long way with these practice amps.” I really regret not getting one as I’ve found out this 100 watt head is really too big to play at home even turned the whole way down.
lol....I'm only laughing cuz thats something I would do....get an amp to play in my apartment and realize I just got a rig you could play Wembley Stadium with

3:30 what was he playing there?, or if someone knows a song or rifft of the same kind. I bought the amp and I want to play something like that when it gets home.
Nice review, great little amp reproduction with amazing volume. Fender has cancelled the Fender Fuse software, no longer downloadable or maintained. You need 32 bit computer to run it; will not work on newer 62 bit. You need Fuse to add overdrive and other effects not available directly on the amp. The latter is what I don't like about it; otherwise a great sounding modeling amp!
For anyone reading this, there is an Android app that does the same function of altering tones as the Fender Fuse software, it's called Remuda. All you need is an USB OTG cable and you are good to go
I am on the fence on this. I have enough to buy all the guitar gear but buying the blackstar fly 3 and start practicing or have to save up a but more to buy this one but as a student that would take about a month. What do you recommend?
Yes it can but these I noticed people use sine setting to clean it up.I got a gt40 for £100 without instructions & the android app only works on high end mobiles. It will be a wee while yet before modeling amps could be gigged. I'm amazed at my gt40. My les Paul on acoustic is brilliant & its split coils in combination are top notch.
There is a hack for clean sound. Press and hold the TAB button as you turn the power switch on and voila! That’s the cleanest you’ll get on this little amp.
Which of these amps would be better for a beginner that wants to play with nice effects and tones without having to use pedals or buy a new amp in half a year when they've improved: Roland micro cube, Fender mustang I v2 or champion 20, Blackstar id core 10 v2 or Marshall mg15fx? And also is the fender mustang I worth if I don't use Fender Fuse? It is because Fender has removed the program from its websites. Thank u so much.
The were so happy that they gave me a gift! It was a brick tho.... and they didn’t have to throw it through the window, but it’s the thought that counts!🥰
Can't figure out if I want this amp or not..I got a line6 spider 3 that seems to almost match this. Except my line6 is a larger unit... So lost on what to do;!!!
Could do with updating as Fender no longer backup the Fender Mustang V2 pre-sets are hard to find let alone load into the now Remuda app that you have to buy £6:49

I have this and Blackstar ID core V2 40W. Both are great practice amps and surely loud enough (plug headphones so no problem in small apartment). This has 8 pcs of awesome presets and maybe more tasty metal sounds. Id core has 6 pcs voices which are also great but not so versatile than those of Mustang. But stereo effect from Id core is amazing it really fills the room and the effects like reverb and delay can be set so that the sound is everywhere. Quite difficult to say which is better of these two...maybe you have to choose according to your style. If you are more into metal take this (but note that the Fuse is not updated anymore). If you want more effect sounds take Id core...or take both like me who could not decide ; )
@@emmanuelalfredomendoza7365 Sorry I meant how do you get clean tones with this amp. I just got my first guitar and amp today so I was just tryig to figure out how to use it (got to grips with it now).
Hi. I would like to ask, if there is an option to customize some presets so I could use distortion and super flanger simultaneously? Thank you in advance for your replies.
Hey, very cool review, helped a lot. One question though: I have an old electric bass lying around and wondered if I'm gonna be able to plug it into this amp? Or should I get a specific bass amp for that? I know that some people say it's fine if I don't go overboard with the volume, but others say it's really dangerous overall and can damage the amp easily. Thanks in advance!
Just bought one so I can jam without my 4x12 n tube amp etc. The clean tones sound excellent. However the gain/distortion sounds terribly noisy.. It ruins the guitar tone and n general has an ugly static like sound. But for $119, you get what you pay for.
Yes - there's 1 dial for 'mod' type (inc chorus) effects and 1 dial for 'reverb/delay' effects and you can use both dials at same time 1. you can either have the mod + reverb effect OR mod + delay effect on at same time 2. Or on the reverb/delay dial on the 4th bank there are reverb and delay effects in one. So when using that bank you can have all 3 effects at same time.
What kind of Bass tone should i expect if i'm in a setting where i'm not using a mike,( at all) pasted up to the amp itself ? Is it just going to sound high pitched and screechy like a dinky little amp ?
Holding down the EXIT button and turning the Treble knob adjusts the Middle. I have an Android app (Remuda) that lets me forego booting up the Windows laptop (I'm a Linux guy) to adjust stuff but it's having the knobs on the top rather than the front that has me wanting something else (Super Champ X2.) Yes - there's 1 dial for 'mod' type (inc chorus) effects and 1 dial for 'reverb/delay' effects and you can use both dials at same time
1. you can either have the mod + reverb effect OR mod + delay effect on at same time
