@@RBmusic2000 It's Not worth that much. But you can also listen to other classes. So, if you want to systematically learn music production, this course might not suit you. It only teaches you how to capture the idea.
Who he foolin. You can not be taught what Timbaland got. The beat gods touched him with a fire that burns pure perfection. I was a DJ in the 80s and we studied beats to create mixes. There is a complexity to his work that is rare and beautiful.
It's ok, I guess, but I just don't really like this type of so-called 'music', if it even should be allowed to be called music. I do not consider it music. it's just my humble opinion. Because nobody's playing any musical instruments. The roots of music is playing musical instruments. And this seems to be... well, It's all computer-generated. So how can be real, or even be considered relevant? I suppose it's all subjective but I give this one a thumbs down. Good try though. Learn to play an instrument. It could save your life.
Not defending Timbaland, and I do think this masterclass is pretty much a scam regardless of the "master's" talent, but "computer generated" music simply isn't what's going on here. Beat making involve a lot of human input, and lots of programming to do. Technology have made music easier to produce but producers still have to be creative to create things from scratch. Sitting in front of thousands of VST plug-ins doesn't automatically make the music by itself, just like an instrument. Keyboard instruments was design to mimic an orchestra, doesn't make it "fake" either.
@@Kingstonlomusic the instruments that they are recording were played by someone years ago. The people who make the beats cant play anything. The only sounds they can actually make are the clickety-clack of the buttons on their keyboards. Making beats is a certain type of talent. I agree with that. But its not musical talent... not its not it its original art form
@@StabilityManI'm sorry man I have to disagree. You can't assume that because a producer hasn't played an instrument their musical creativity is now negated because of it. 👏🏾 in order to produce a song or a beat you need to have some form of musical knowledge to even get to that point. Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't know the theory behind whatever you are making because i believe that you should but we can't sit here and say that because your music was done on a computer it's not music 🤷🏾♂️🙏🏽🙏🏽

I took the class, and the only thing I learned from Mr. Timbaland is, to trust your feelings and go with the flow.
Is the course worth it. ?
