"Hate it or love it" seems to be the song to end the two decades of good hip-hop. Ironic, 50 Cent (East Coast) and The Game (West Coast) united to honour the golden hip-hop legacy.

Depends on who you ask. Me personally, I love 80's and late 90's the most I think. I mostly just listen to what I like without paying attention who, where, or when it's from.
I don't know why old heads don't like kendrick, he came up like some of the biggest rappers from the classics.

(opinion) Old school is low key, either more aggressive or more relaxed, Kendrick isn't as chill and his voice is quite high pitched compared to tupac, biggie, big L etc.
