I don't believe there is a difference of 400 calories in these 2 plates. Rice is hardly 2 tablespoon more in 850 calories dish. Also there is no increase in protein intake.
I appreciate the idea and intention behind the video. But with my working experience of 12+years in nutrition, it's easy to say...no way there is a 400kcal difference in those two plates.
Quite logically said. One spoon of rice can never make a difference of 400 calories. The influence of misleading information is more unhealthy than a spoon of rice.
You are right but once you have habit of counting calories it won't annoy you Initially you may feel frustrated but once you know that specific amount of specific food has theseany calories then you don't need to count them just start eating in a controlled portion
You should eat how much you need to. When you feel hungry, eat until you’re full. Healthy choices are great, but make sure to balance what you eat. You don’t need to count calories and be hard on yourself. Health is important, it doesn’t matter how your body looks. But if you are trying to lose weight, don’t starve yourself, and just try to choose healthier options and get some exercise. Remember you’re beautiful everyone❤️
That's a good way to put it. Also, no matter what you eat, you need to create a calorie deficit. Which means you need to burn what you put in. Your net calories should be around 800 to a 1000. So let's say you had 1500 calories in the day, you need to burn at least 500 calories that day to create a difference
ig but putting on weight by building muscle speeds up metabolism i think so theoretically you don’t have to lose it all, if you gain muscle enough eventually you’ll be able to eat a bit more
So you decided to cook the food in about 10 tsps of oil and called it 850 calories? Let's not mislead viewers, especially keeping in mind that it can lead them into developing an eating disorder. If anything , there should be an explanation as to why the calories are different ,despite food being of the same proportion.
So you're essentially saying, it's not just the extra rice, but the way the food is cooked in the 450 and 850 calorie plates are also different? This, I agree, is highly misleading. You should clarify that rather than focusing on appearance of the specific human model in the promotion! Completely unnecessary. Would have been more informative! 😀
Start with veggies. Type oof salt used, oils makes the difference. 1 tbsp of butter = 100 calories. That will make a difference. 1 cup of rice have 600 calories.
Completely wrong. One cup of dry rice (200 g) will be 600 kcal. But that would be a huge bowl. A cup of boiled rice would be something like 80 g, around 250 kcal. And tablespoon of butter or oil, 5 g, would be around 35 kcal (700 kcal/100 g).
So there could be that much difference in calories because : 1. Paneer quantity is drastically reduced from 7 8 pcs to 4pcs 2. Rice reduced 3. Less oil could have been used for preparation or no oil as well. Thanks.

Im on a diet rn, which helped me lose 5 kgs already, here is some tips if u wanna lose weight: 1. Swap white flour with whole-wheat flour, because white flour becomes sugar (sugar is one of the main reasons for people becoming overweight) 2. U should stop drinking soda, it has alot of calories and sugar (optional) 3. Fried foods are INCREDIBLY unhealthy, it is very oily and u can allow it at max 2 times per month. (Optional): Stop drinking beer. Its very caloric. 4. Swap your average snacks (chips, ice cream or popcorn) with fruits or vegetables. 5. Starchy things like potatoes, rice should be removed from ur daily caloric intake 6. And finally, whenever you feel full, dont force yourself to eat it all, leave it. People are gonna throw it away only if they dont have regard for the food Hope this helped😊
I tried to reduce rice and take more protein and salads dal but didn't work for me.. I was always stressed about how much carbs can I eat in next meal.. I got depressed by counting calories..😂😂😂😂 Now I eat the way I like, not counting calories and I am very happy.. I also drink tea with sugar in the morning and evening. My happiness matters to me more than loosing weight.
*I agree with you this is true and worked for me !! My mom don't allow me to follow any diets so I used to follow portion control I lost 5kgs with just portion control and exercise must!!*
It's better to do good excersize and eat what you eat everyday, but just a little less because you won't loose weight if you eat the same amount. I'm saying this because after you loose weight we think now we can eat all that we couldn't eat while loosing weight, but we don't realise our body is become accustomed to the diet food and then we gain more weight than before excersize and then efforts are gone out of the window. Everyone's body is different, so you see what is good for yourself. I said this from my experience.
Both plates have almost same calories. Even if you replace paneer with tofu and jeera rice with drained water or steamed rice, the difference will not be more than 100-150 calories.
Logic just jumped into ten spoons of hot oil and died a slow death, but couldn't find why there is a difference of 400 calories. I think they should have mentioned a difference of 420 calories because that's what they are i.e., 420! Misleading viewers for attention.

Wowwww...super....its come in mind 👌👍
A healthy and balanced diet is important for everyone.
Calorie counting is the key. We underestimate our calories intake. Adequate water and sleep are crucial for healthy weight loss.
You actually shouldn't eat untill you're full. Not just for weightloss but in general you should eat till you're 80-90% full.
One should stop eating till they are 70 to 80 prcnt full..Never eat till you are full
This is a good portion of nutrition. I call this a balanced plate

Just half spoon of extra rice increase 400 calories 😂
1 spoon of rice can't be an extra 400 calories. Let's be honest as we educate
No it is type of rice people eat not the amount
The difference between the two plates in terms of portion and the food items is almost insignificant. One cannot be 850 cals and the other 450.
we have quantified each item and have put them in the plate by counting calories .. Which includes oil used in cooking too :)
