Most people losing weight say that it's easier to lose weight when they have occasional treats, like a cinnamonroll or a glass of cola on friday Because it helps with cravings for sweet tooths and also helps binges.
@no way no you just have a high metabolism,I have a slow metabolism and I don’t eat anything just lunch and dinner and occasionally a snack yet I gain weight
@@xyzahrq there's no such thing as a fast metabolism or a slow metabolism for most people. Metabolism is based on your resting metabolic rate, if you are heavy you actually have a higher metabolic rate than a thin person because fat people require more energy to live than thin people. Some people are more active than others and eat in moderation, activity matters a lot as well because the more muscle someone has the faster they burn calories. If you are gaining weight eating well, move more and eat less, make sure to read calories counts of your most eaten foods, they do matter. The problem is not the speed of your metabolism (for most people). If you track your calories you'll probably see you are eating more than you think. No, this actually saying for example you're the type that always want to eat but don't want to get overweight or wants to improve your health too, then do this. For example you want to fill 1200 or 2000 with low calories and healthier options are good for you and the quantity are lots more too. Many people whether on diet or ex obese do this, they binge this type instead. Feel pity for your organs, feed them good stuff don't wait till your hospital bills get high. They can get tired and exhausted
All these alternatives sound pretty good, except for la croix. I could be on the verge of dehydration and I would much rather wait for a cup of ice cubes to melt than to taste lime-flavored disappointment Edit: Thank y’all for the suggestions
you can try kombucha + a lil dash of apple cider vinegar + some juice of your choice (I like mango or pomegranate). Makes for a tasty healthier drink! I usually add some water too, to dilute it, cause store-bought juice is too sweet to me (even fresh blended juice I usually dilute with water). I sometimes make kombucha myself and when I add pineapple to it, it also turns out very sweet, sweeter than store-bought kombucha. The amount of each ingredient you can adjust to your own taste. You can also substitute the apple cider vinegar for basically any kind of fruit vinegar and it'll still be tasty, but ACV has more health benefits I think.
0:10 Where I'm from: Fruit snack: 2$ U.S. Strawberries: 10$ U.S. EDIT: Thought I'd point out that I'm from a 3rd world country, imported products are expensive here.
As someone who hates hummus, tries it every few years to make sure I still don’t like it, and still hates it, I reccomend switching your chips w carrot chips or cucumber slices but keeping the chip dip. For a lot of people it’s hard to go 100%, so go 80% and go 80% 100% of the time and you will see major improvements in your life as opposed to 100% 20% of the time
Or eat 6 healthy small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones with snacks in between. It’s shown to be healthier, reduce weight gain and to keep you more full and energetic throughout the day.
What is most important to remember is that these are all good foods. Unless a food is poisoned or your doctor said not to eat it because it can harm you or you’re allergic, these are all fine to eat. These things are snacks and enjoy them in moderation. If you have chips and dip, that’s okay. If you’re craving a specific food and it’s “junk food” it is okay to have it. Because let’s be honest, chocolate almond milk will never satisfy a craving for Oreos.
And I get it. Most of us know this. But this is for the person who maybe doesn’t have a healthy relationship with food or thinks that they absolutely cannot indulge ever again on the path to healthier eating
One thing i LOVE about eating ”healthy” is that i can eat a lot of it. I get sick after a lot of chips, but if i can eat strawberries FOR EVER and i still wouldn’t get that sick feeling, very nice!
@@eternaleffect2499 i don't think theyre worried abt the calories they just like that they can eat more, and anyways you're still getting more benefits from eating the fruit... it's not like calories are the only thing that determine the healthiness of a food (they don't determine the healthiness at all really)
Oh and also cherry tomatoes with mozzarella is a great combo too! Keep in mind that it is very light and you can easily end up eating half the package of tomatoes
@@esthervssv8319 i eat them pretty frozen if im being honest. I love how crunchy they get and it lowkey taste like candy when you get sweet purple grapes and freeze them... AS I SAID THEY SMACKKKKKK
@@esthervssv8319 BRUH PLEASE COMMENT AGAIN and tell me how u like them, you could dislike it but i love it personalllly. Get the purple grapes if you want something extra sweet my friend :3
Grapes are the best. Basically candy. I also enjoy a greek yogurt smoothie with strawberries, banana, and blueberries. 16oz smoothie comes out to 230 calories. A 16oz milkshake would come in around 800 calories. Also, you should have added walnuts or pistachios in there.
Best tip is if you're craving a salty snack, instead of chips (super easy to eat the whole bag) eat pickles! My favourite are cornichons but I also love jarred jalapeños
For those who think it's more expensive to healthy. You take a bag of Doritos that cost $3.99 and is 10oz. Serving size is 1oz and 140 calories. So 1oz costs $0.40 for 140 calories. Now take a banana; 1 banana at walmart costs $0.20 (probably $0.25-$0.30 elsewhere) and a normal sized banana (that's going to cost about $0.20) is 125 calories. So you can get 250 HEALTHY calories for $.40 with bananas OR 140 UNHEALTHY calories with Doritos. And that's just ONE example.
And don't even get me started on fast food. Even the dollar menu stuff is overpriced compared to what you can get at the store. I remember i did this one time (it was a while ago, so i dont remember everything)..... but i made a replica of a hamburger from a fast food restaurant.... i weight everything, measured everything, etc etc. And for that $1 burger i got at the restaurant.... i was able to make 5 burgers with stuff i bought from the store, where each burger cost me $0.20. Like i said, i dont remember the exact numbers, so it may have been 6 burger or $0.30, etc etc. But it was around there.
Man too bad I cant just buy one serving size worth of something... sure it may be less money or serving to eat healthy but buying the bulk of things to get that serving only costs more money than if I were to get a less healthy snack.
This is where you live. Price ranges are different all around the world. A 4$ chip bag? Are you fucking insane? It costs 2$ here. Unless you go to that super unhealthy shop that sells everything for a fortune. I live in Iceland.
If you get a mandolin slicer, an oven, and some potatoes, you can make your own chips. Baked, they’ll be much lower in fat. And you can control the seasoning so that they’re not too salty. Heck, use spices to get more interesting flavors! Just make sure the potatoes are sliced really thin.
Udoza Udoza The first one is different since it’s liquid The strawberry one is definitely more than the candies, there’s more pop corn than the chips, for the cucumber one u can always add more just like chips *u won’t dump a whole chip bag in that plate* The grapes and the bread one are pretty much equal. The only time it had less was at the yogurt one, plus, I don’t think people would eat the whole ice cream box in one shot... i mean I Hope
@@justme._.7923 You just said that you wouldn't put the whole bag of chips in one plate... I would definitely do it I know I'm late to the party but your comment hit me so hard.
I don't want your dang cucumbers, I want my chips and guac! A better comparison would of been like 'white corn chips and guacamole instead of chips and sour cream sauce'

ayo I know that reference. Amy ftw
I could be on the verge of dehydration and I would much rather wait for a cup of ice cubes to melt than to taste lime-flavored disappointment
Edit: Thank y’all for the suggestions
you can try kombucha + a lil dash of apple cider vinegar + some juice of your choice (I like mango or pomegranate).
Try Polar seltzer if they have it in your area, it’s way better

For a lot of people it’s hard to go 100%, so go 80% and go 80% 100% of the time and you will see major improvements in your life as opposed to 100% 20% of the time

The best way to reduce snack calories is
Not having a snack
Adrian Torres nobody said you couldn’t tbh
Or just eat a fruit
Or eat 6 healthy small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones with snacks in between. It’s shown to be healthier, reduce weight gain and to keep you more full and energetic throughout the day.
OR LIVING OF OXIGEN AND SUN :D
Walrus Junior Well that’s means 2 whole meals and 2 small meals for me! (I’m a school still)
What is most important to remember is that these are all good foods.

I think you gave me a stroke
Bananas are gay
Man too bad I cant just buy one serving size worth of something... sure it may be less money or serving to eat healthy but buying the bulk of things to get that serving only costs more money than if I were to get a less healthy snack.

If you get a mandolin slicer, an oven, and some potatoes, you can make your own chips. Baked, they’ll be much lower in fat. And you can control the seasoning so that they’re not too salty. Heck, use spices to get more interesting flavors!
