I have seen so many houses designed by whom ever puts them on this RUclips channel. Honestly I didn't care for most of them because the interior was horribly designed. Now Finally you have this beautifully done cottage. Nice job. This is how a cottage should look as far as interior design. My only suggestion is a laundry room with a little more space but over all you did a great job on this one.
Perhaps turning the washer/dryer to the exterior wall, I think still room for a narrow window, with the sink on the opposite wall beside the door with a narrow folding shelf beside it would make it feel bigger? And it seems one or both of the bedroom windows could be made into doors opening onto a small deck/porch on the back of the house, as well?
The exterior is something very unsual and charming. Straight out of a movie. The drop zone for the shoes and coats is well placed. The reading nook in the living room would be a place i would always sit on. Even with the sofa, which is quite close to it. I would use it for my legs to rest 😄 The kitchen has a great size. I really love the island with it's carvings. The laundry room could be a bit bigger, but all in all it's a really cozy home. 😊❤
This would be a super cute mother-in-law cottage. I love the entry/living room/kitchen. Some tweaks though: Combined the two bedrooms and bathroom into one master suite, with a nice master bathroom and large walk-in closet but also creating a separate powder room. Steal a little space to create a wider laundry room with exit door to a porch that connects to front porch. A double kitchen sink would be nice too.
The design is nice overall. I would make the design a one bedroom and this would add more space to the utility area, a much larger bathroom and some storage area.
I also like this design. The built in shelving, coat/shoe closet, and window seat by the front entrance is very nice! And I like having the pantry along the wall behind the table. I agree with the folks saying that laundry room is too narrow. Would there be room to put the washer and dryer side by side on the window end of the room, with counter space above that? You could probably still add some shallower shelving/cupboards along the side wall but there would be more room to maneuver if you didn't make them as deep as the appliances. The other edit I'd make is to have a double sink. Especially since there is no dishwasher, a double sink would be much more useful. And of course, I am always Team Bathtub so personally I'd have a tub, not just a shower. But that's just my preference and not a design criticism. 😉🛀
Cute little house to be happy in. The only thing I have to say is that the washing machine room is a bit cramped, like some people before me. If it were wider, you could still use cupboards or shelves on the other side for storage. Otherwise a cute, successful little house.
I love your designs, it makes my day, after work I always look forward to your uploads! It makes me relax, the way you present the house with beautiful and relaxing music! Work of perfection! Thank you so much!!!
This is a cute cottage, and it manages to include the basics. There aren't a lot of upper cabinets in the kitchen, but the dining room cabinets add good storage. The laundry room is quite snug! I'd like to add another window or two.
For a 616 sq ft home you’ve packed in a lot! If the home wed another 2’ longer the laundry room and bedrooms would be a bit more breathable. Adding a 2nd egress in the laundry room would make the home a bit safer. I like the home, wish there was a half bath too but for its size, it’s livable!
Absolutely beautiful living, dining and kitchen, but would have to add some sq footage passed the arch into the bedroom, the laundry and bathroom are too small. Stunning though!!
@@Freya-pj3cg Tell that to US home inspectors. In the US, in the event of fire, there must be a minimum of two means of egress, IE: doors. Not windows. Also, normal people wouldn't jump out of 3 story windows. In the US, normal people prefer doors, stairs or in extreme situations, fire escapes.
I like the sturdy looking front door. Laundry room looks too narrow. The window placements in both bedrooms seem odd. I miss a second exterior door. The exterior of the house is charming.
Very nice overall, but laundry way too small. Better laundry solution would be to take out the lounge dividing wall up to the end of the fireplace., enclose washer drier behind integrated looking doors 'continental style'. The extra freed up area, which now also includes the area outside both bedroom doors, then creates a more practical moving around space while doing the laundry/ironing. People could utilise the area behind the fireplace with an extra cabinet or the like, to house dirty/clean laundry etc. This would also make the lounge area appear more expansive.
Tv and console are too big, not enough room to walk around. Get rid of those stupid gas stoves, flat top electric. Get the toilets that go straight down so you can clean them easily. Walk in or soaker tubs for the elderly. There needs to be a car port and screened in back porch.
If 30 feet is 10 meters, how come 24 feet is 7 meters? Basic math tells you it's 8. One of your calculations is wrong, the first one. 30 feet is 9 meters
Not a fan of it. No second bathroom, no coat closet at the entrance, very narrow laundry room. The room sizes are extreme: too large living room, too small bedroom. Not one of the best floorplans.

Very pretty craftsman cottage. Just make the laundry room wider and put and exterior door in it.
Now that's a cottage. Small but very nice & livable, cute.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
I looked at the laundry room and thought..you better not try to bend over to put clothes in or out of machines!!! Not sure how that would work!!
Plus my area building code requires 2 entry doors.

Kitchen and living room perfect
Thank you 😊
Very cute simple house with a lot of personality, love the entrance and porch.

I need 2 bedrooms though!
Just get a different model ...
This one's mine , though I don't need nor want that useless kitchen island.
Only for a super cute Mother in law lol
I like the built ins, storage is key for me.
Outside space is a must for these small homes.
Perfection!! Another winner!! 🤩👏👏👍🥇😊
YEahhhh
Love this small darling home. Though, the laundry room is a little tight. Need room to turn around in.
Thank for your suggestions ^^
As always ; a well planned and thought out plan. Always look forward to your videos. Well done !

Love it! Jaspar amazes us with her team of designers!

Великолепно! Маленький и очень уютный!
Gorgeous front porch.

It would be so easy to make this look like a fairytale gingerbread house. I would do it.

This is so cute, Jasper! It doesn’t quite fit us, but I adore the romance of the fairytale cottage❣️❣️

Wonderful. Every room was done to my exact taste and colors. Lovee il.
Love it! I want to move in next week.
Charmant !! J'adore 💕 !!💚💚💚💚

If only the laundry and a powder room combo was possible.
Where's the second means of egress? This design would not pass code in the US.
Normal folk would egress by the window 😂

I would add a meter overall to the back of the house and use that to widen the laundry/bathroom. Would be ok then.
I like the sturdy looking front door. Laundry room looks too narrow. The window placements in both bedrooms seem odd. I miss a second exterior door. The exterior of the house is charming.
Only one entrance?

Interesting how everyone has their opinion. We as humans simply cannot just enjoy something.
Cute cottage but needs a 2nd door to the outside. Fire code
A door in the laundry room would be appropriate. 😊❤
❤❤❤😂😅😊 8:21
Each bedroom, at the very least, needs a place to store your underware. Socks and T-shirts would be nice too. 🤷♂️
Outside is cute, laundry room too cramped, needs a bathtub, fireplace would be better in the center of the wall instead of in a corner
No dishwasher?
Why no Gutters on this house?
No back door? Would never pass zoning inspection/ fire code.
Laundry area a bit claustrophobic
laundry room too small

Did not smile. Was claustrophobic.
