I loved "Words Bubble up Like Soda Pop" BECAUSE it was so light compared to the other romance anime movies. It looks great, doesn't lay heavily on your heart for the rest of your life and is just simply cute!

I don't think the movie was that great. The writing was pretty iffy (I watched the English Dub) but it was cute. The ending however hit me hard. When the music started and the old man cried I joined him. It hit right in the soul in a way only anime has ever been able to do. For that reason alone it's worth a watch, an astounding ending to a rather unremarkable movie.

Speaking as a person who normally just dreams about nonsense and doesn't let their love of spooks and chills affect other parts of their life, your #1 pick brought back a dread I'd not felt in years. That dream I had was...beyond anything I've experienced before or since. It didn't leave any physical evidence like your friend's, but you don't forget the one time in life you wake up already in frightful tears from the horrors you couldn't comprehend or people you thought you lost. It's one thing to fear what could possibly happen. It's quite another to physically cry from the memory, and not have any idea why.

you probably know these already, but here goes: RagnaRox, hbomberguy and "in praise of shadows" (who was even mentioned in this video). I highly recommend the latter, especially his "anatomy of a franchise"-series where he dives into horrormovie-franchises and just talks about their history, story and usually how they fell from grace or made a comeback.

My best guess, aside from it being a hoax, is that the person might've been sleepwalking to a source of choir music happening somewhere outside (which slipped into their dreams). They could've left themselve's a voicemail in their sleep.

Have you Ever listen to or heard of the "magnus archives" podcast? Is a horror podcast about an fictional institute that deals with weird and supernatural statements given by the fictional civilians and the guy who has to transcribe all written statements to audio files, giving the podcast a feel of someone telling horror stories around a campfire or something but with overarching narratives with some of the supernatural encounters and the life of the narrator and some of the other institute employees. It's really fun and the narrator voice is a 10/10
The minute I finished it I started binge listening to the whole series again I loved it so much. The way it starts as an anthology but then slowly starts linking stories and building and building each season is brilliant....
....Plus it has one of my favorite romances I've heard in a piece of media in a while.

Probably my favorite thing to happen this year would be the reveal, the hype cycle. and finally, the release of the long rumored, often canceled Metroid Dread. This was a game that's had Metroid fans curious for nearly 15 years. Originally starting as a DS title, Sakamoto found it difficult to bring his full vision to life. So, he waited until the 3DS, but even then it still proved unobtainable. Fast forward to the release of the Nintendo Switch and finally with the technology available he was able to bring his vision to life with the help of Mercury Steam. And...the game is actually amazing. Fantastic, fluid controls, great visuals, a nice, pretty sad story if you know your Metroid lore, and the best Samus we've had in years. I'm a sucker for a game like this, a game that took years to make and finally sees a release where it's actually of quality. And what's better, judging by sales this game could very well revive the Metroid franchise.

Though I have a unique perspective on the remake (seeing as how it was my first induction to FF7 and the franchise as a whole) I can understand that sentiment. Especially at the sewers, graveyard, AND THE FUCKING AIR COMBAT!!!!
While there may have been some problems with the game, it was still a great game so that overwhelming anger and shame he feels for the game feels unnecessarily extreme lol.

This game was so good it got me to watch Advent Children and play Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus (which I now see as a massive mistake) but still stands as a testament to how it affected me! Personally FF7 Remake is one of my favorite games of all time because of how it oozess style, personality, and plays like a butter (most of the time) and trying to piece together what Sephiroth’s plan is, and how far ahead he has thought, is so amazing because it gives new life to a 20 year old property and game; honestly I’m down for the ride and so are most people!
Hopefully we can get our hands on a PS5 by then here’s hoping!!
@gibbdude then that’s on you cause I pretty much played everything from beginning to end and did a good amount of the extra sidequests and got all summon materia and not once did I or many others find it painfully terrible. There some problems with it sure, but for the most part it was really great
@@jeffreyali3644 Facts, VII Remake was fantastic! Even though it has minor issues the sequels could solve (not the issue some people have of it not really being a remake or turnbased lol) it was still an arguable GOTY and best RPG of 2020, even more than its lesser rival Yakuza 7
I enjoyed the crap out of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It spurred me onto finally playing FFXV, which I also enjoyed a hell of a lot.

It’s an over played term. But Bryan/Omega was the first match I ever saw that truly felt like a “Dream Match” cause it’s the closest a match has ever come for me to being “Dream Like”.
You don’t truly believe what you’re watching is real, or how two of the absolute best would ever lock up. And even more so, it’s even BETTER than you could ever imagine it being… And it’s just the first chapter.

I did, in fact, have a good spooky time with this video. Thanks! I noticed that this channel spends a lot of time on existentialism and seeing that reflected in the horror bits every year is fun.
It sort of reminds me of a sequence from kid Icarus uprising, wherein one character is pushed into a time-skip and the player finds out in medias res. And as you slowly digest the consequences of this time skip, you learn another character didn't even get the chance to live through that time in-between; character 2 was thrown into non-existence. Not stasis, or limbo, or purgatory, but conscious non-life. It's a character growth moment, forcing character 2 to act altruistically as they are faced with the unquestionable reality that the lives of individuals affect the lives of others.
Honestly, there are two things that caught my eye about NegaWolf here.
1.- He's wearing eyeliner and reminds me of the vocalist from Panic at the Disco.
2.- That's DAMN NICE SHIRT. It's got a nice sheen to it.
