“So Wrong”
“Lovesick Blues”
“Leavin’ On Your Mind”
“Strange”
“Faded Love”
“Why Can’t He Be You”
“A Poor Mans Roses”
“Back In Baby’s Arms”
Just a few suggestions to get you started with Patsy Cline my friend. She was my mom’s favorite and has been my favorite all my life. You cannot go wrong with any of her songs! Thanks for the reaction! I love your videos ☮️🌼♥️🇺🇸
Yes. All of the above
I enjoyed her gospel songs too
Don’t sleep on Imagine That. It’s one of her best.
She also did a killer version of "Blue Moon of Kentucky" ❤
No matter your personal musical interests, everybody loves Patsy. ❤
Facts!
That’s what I was going to write. Lol
I remember playing this for my daughter when she was little and I thought she was about to cry. I’m glad she did, because it always brings a tear to my eye.
Patsy Cline set the standard in which all professional female country singers are compared to. Simply beautiful voice and person. If you like Patsy Cline, also listen to Jim Reeves.
It means so much to me. I grew up listening to her.
This song was written by Willie Nelson. She died in a plane crash when she was in her 30's, I believe.
Gone way too soon!!!
Willie + Patsy = unbelievable talent.
I was very little when this came out. 3 maybe. We share the same birthday September 8th. Queen of country music.
I have always loved that little "catch" in her voice. Nobody can do it like she did.
LeAnn Times "Blue"
@@barbaramullin5182 Rimes
@@TheCarnivalguy Thanks!! Fat Finger Syndrome strikes again!!
LeAnn Rimes "Blue" . No one can top that beautiful little yodel
"Patsy Cline - Why Can't He Be You" and "I Fall To Pieces" Some blues and soul stations would play patsy's music because it crossed genres. I consider Ptsy Cline won of the Royals of the Country Music Industry. Great reaction... thanks
My mom was a big Patsy Cline fan. My mom used to play this song on repeat. RiP mom I love and miss you.
Crazy was sung by my bestie every day once a day, after her stage days were done RIP my Fayza I miss you xx
Along with the smooth voice of Patsy, the acoustics of this song are timeless. Also she was a close friend of Loretta Lynn, so close that Loretta named one of her twin daughters after Patsy.
Classic!!!
What I especially love is that not only did Willie Nelson write it, but his original title for it was "Stupid". I almost wish he had kept that as the lyrics. "Stupid... I'm stupid for feeling so lonely..." 😂
Another Virginia native. We are so proud of they fact. She was more than awsome!
Willie Nelson is the song writer for crazy. Patsy died way too soon. She was in a bad car accident and then not too much later (approx 3 years) she died in a plane crash. She is the only country female artist that she gives me goosebumps when she sings and when I sing some of her songs. She was a bright star and she fell way too soon. I wish fate would have been kinder to her. Thank you 🤔❤🇺🇸
Written by another country legend Willie Nelson
I love the fact that sometimes your eyes are closed. That’s how you know you’re hearing something special.
you know a song has connected with some one when they close their eyes, smile and just sway, like our friend did here
Love this one and
Walking After Midnight.
Willie Nelson wrote this beautiful song!!!
Mr Taylor Family, Willie Nelson's song, 'Crazy', sung by Patsy Cline, is the greatest song ever to come out of the USA. It crossed over from a Country Western tag to the pop charts and records that were taken indicate this song was played more on the old juke boxes than any other song. In fact, I would bet money that for the past 60 years, or so, this song has been played on the radio, somewhere, every day in the USA. Patsy Cline's version is like a National Anthem in the States.
A singer you Brit's may also like to listen to is someone who is as close to Patsy Cline as anyone who has has ever lived. She sings all of Patsy's songs including 'Crazy' and is still performing to this day. Her career started at 14 years old and the song she sang became a giant hit and shocked everyone because she sounded so much like Patsy. The name of the song is 'Blue' and the artist is Leann Rimes. (The song was meant to be sung by Patsy Cline but tragedy struck and Leann was chosen to sing it because of her equally beautiful voice.)Check it out. Then go ahead and listen to her sing 'Crazy' when she did a tribute to Patsy Cline.
I believe you said you are aware of so many artists who have recorded this song and now you are so thrilled to hear the original. Listen to Leann Rimes and enjoy her version and I'm going to throw in another singer who also has a rendition of 'Crazy' which I believe you will love very much. You may know this young artist who is beginning to take the world by storm and is destined for super stardom. Her name is Angelina Jordan.
And, thanks for a wonderful reaction. You were very moved and it is always so nice to see people who are genuine. It comes across to your viewers/subscribers and I wish you very good luck with your channel. I just subscribed.
Patsy Cline sang this beautifully. Written by Willie Nelson. RIP PATSY I love you still 💔
Patsy and Loretta Lynn were best friends. Loretta wrote a book about their friendship, Me & Patsy Kicking Up Dust. I like to think the two of them are together singing in Heaven and having a ball.
Nobody could sing a song like Patsy, she could sing anything. "Sweet dreams" and "she's got you" are my favorites by her. Country music is some of the most honest and beautiful in the world.
When I got divorced. I would put my sons to bed, pour a glass of wine, listen to Patsy sobbed into a towel. To me …… Patsy’s voice is like a very expensive Brandy, smooth yet strong. Willie wrote this song.
You need" Walking after midnight"in your life. The voice of an angel and absolutely NO AUTO TUNE.Just pure voice
It is a perfect song... Info I've heard is she was a good person and mentor to other female singers.. died in a plane crash.
It is hard to believe but"Sweet Dreams" is even better. RIP Patsy.
Sweet Dreams really showcases the range of her voice.
Patsy was the best female singer to ever live
Kitty Wells - It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels , Mansion on the hill , and Dust on the Bible for some 1950's country
She had such an amazing voice. It was soulful and she controlled it so beautifully. She was strong and sassy, gone way too soon.
Written by Willie Nelson. HIs original title for the song was "Stupid". Glad he changed it.
Yes I think he wrote it for his first wife.
My gram would sing this everytime we sang karaoke. She loved this song and was really good at singing it.
I was a 10 yr old boy. Everyone on the farm and neighbor farms were in tears. 1963, I watched her on TV and heard on radio with parents. I didn't know what was going on.
she was here in daveport iowa and my dad played steel guitar for her cause her steel man was sick it was 3 weeks before she died wow she was so good had a ball with her i was 10 yrs old and got to go back stage.
Patsy & Loretta Lynn were very good friends!
She was perfection
Wilkie Nelson wrote this song and Patsy made it famous
THANK YOU! All Patsy Cline's are GREAT. It's hard to pick a favorite. But, should you get a chance please listen to her song---She's Got You.
Whenever I’m feeling homesick I send my mom a special emoji and she calls and leaves a voicemail singing a different song she sang from my childhood this is one of my favorites
The background singers were The Jordanaires, the quartet who sang background for Elvis Presley on his 1950s and 1960s recordings. Other great Patsy Cline songs you'd probably enjoy: Sweet Dreams ruclips.net/video/imafHIq2210/видео.html or, I Fall to Pieces ruclips.net/video/iuZTk1hdpMs/видео.html or Back in Baby's Arms ruclips.net/video/MBgQ5ZiphUs/видео.html (very upbeat...you'll like it!)
Written by the great Willie Nelson .
You'd love Brenda Lee's "Sorry" and Randy Travis' "It's Just A Matter of Time"
Walking After Midnight is another great one!
Patsy and Loretta Lynn were real close friends. One of Loretta’s last two kids ( twin girls ) was named Patsy after Patsy Cline. Patsy Cline died in 63 & the twins, Patsy & Peggy were born in 1964.
I love her rendition of “I Fall to Pieces “
"She's Got You" will blow you back....."Sweet Dreams" and others are so strong. My 20 something daughters are in love with Patsy!
You just reacted to the song just a few weeks ago when you did home free crazy now you can see that Austin saying it in the same key as Patsy Cline
"Crazy" was written by Willie Nelson!!! Can't beat Patsy and other songs to listen to is: "She's Got You", "Sweet Dreams", "Faded Love", Back in Baby's Arms", and "Walkin' After Midnight"!
Looking for another great female voice?? I recommend Emmylou Harris! "Another Lonesome Morning", "In Your Dreams", "If I needed You" with another country star Don Williams, "Born to Run", "Tennessee Rose", and "Pancho and Lefty"!
You should hear the Home Free cover of this song!
FINALLY!
You ain’t heard it, if you haven’t heard Patsy sing it!!
The headband was to cover up an injury that she had received in a car crash a short time earlier...
I knew a guy named Bill Mack. He use to hang out with us at a bar in Dallas called Belle Starr. He wrote a song performed by Patsy Cline called Blue. You should check it out.
After the pause at the end, the band were all cued by the pianist.
Willie Nelson’s song Crazy came to absolute life in the voice and soul of Patsy Cline.
You Belong To Me is my favorite!
Can't go wrong with Patsy Cline. Please react to I FALL TO PIECES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She has a butter smooth voice that all female artist strive for but few, if any, have achieved. Patsy is my favorite female artist, in any genre. Thanks for doing this one. Peace.
You need to do a double feature of Pasty Cline and LeAnn Rhimes both singing the song Blue.
My nana used to listen to her pasty cline records when she was super sick with stage 5 colon cancer in the 90's. I was 17 and her home care while my parents were working during the daytime. I miss that woman everyday. She was my saving grace.
She also has a song called "Walking After Midnight" worth checking out. Also, here's my regular comment asking for "Riding With Private Malone" by David Ball, lol. I know you see me though, because you're so kind, giving my comment a heart every time, so maybe I'll chill out a bit. 😅😅😅
I promise I will check it out very very soon! 👀
@@taylorfamilyreactions Thank you, Mr. Taylor! 😃😃😃
@@taylorfamilyreactions the worlds first black country music duo plus they are spearheading a new genre called #Country Trap so go ahead and react to this fun hilarious song ruclips.net/video/8B58nxWsFi8/видео.html
There's a movie about Patsy called Sweet Dreams. Jessica Lange won an oscar for portraying Patsy.
❤️❤️❤️
If you get a chance, react to "Sweet Dreams" by Patsy. Haunting.
Willie Nelson wrote the song, and when that tv capture was made she was in recovery for a severe car accident which threw her through the windshield. She was cut very badly. She did a one take recording in the studio for this one. Her back ups on this cut were the Jordanaires who backed up Elvis, and the great Floyd "The Tinkler" Cramer on piano. Floyd also backed up Elvis.
#classic ❣️
Check out a movie called "Sweet Dreams" another song of hers, starring Jessica Lang and Ed Harris. It's about her life, her abusive and cheating husband and her untimely death. It's so well done.
Mama, PLEASE help me get my house with the yellow roses!!!!!
Great movie
Patsy Cline sang this song on one take beautiful Woman in so many ways.RIp Patsy
Home Free has a version of this that you would like.
This song was written by Willie Nelson, but Patsy put it on the charts. Please listen to Home Free’s rendition of Crazy, it is incredible.
A great cry in your beer song!
Listen to Ppatsy sing She's Got You, and Sweet Dreams
Also listen to Marty Robbins " Devil Woman '
She recorded it first Willie Nelson wrote it her first hit was I Fall To Pieces
Good reaction!! FUN FACT SONG WRITTEN BY WILLIE NELSON!!! ANOTHER COUNTRY ARTIST OG!!!
Patsy was from this area of Virginia. A wonderful talent she was, taken much too soon.
Thank You
Willie Nelson wrote this song. He was going to keep it but was broke and needed 50 bucks for rent. So he sold it
After listen to this , listen to Lianne Rimes do the cover of this. Very difficult to tell the 2 apart.
Patsy's wearing the headband to hide the scars she received in a bad car accident this was her first live performance after the accident. She was in the hospital when she first heard Loretta Lynn performing at Ernest Tubbs vinyl (record) store she had her husband go get her and bring her to the hospital to meet her. And they became Fast Friends it was Loretta's best friend up until the day she died and Loretta was pregnant with twins at the time and she named one of her twins after her. I know I'm late to the game here but I'm going through your videos I'm a new subscriber.
Thank you for this!
Patsy is definitely a legend in our country music . Thanks for viewing.
'Merica!
She made a huge impact in a very short career. I think she died in a plane crash just a couple of years into her career. She died at her pinnacle.
You have the most beautiful blue eyes.
Love some Patsy Cline. One of Willis Nelson's first songs he wrote. He was almost broke when he wrote and sold the song. I've been scanning through reaction videos and came across your channel...love it! Older country through the 80's is the best!
Floyd Kramer is on piano- famous pianist in country music.
I don't think the word 'perfection' is out of place here. Just wonderful. Tayor Family: your audio (volume) is spot-on, your voice and the video are perfectly balanced, and the audio quality of the video was great. Couldn't ask for more, thanks.
Give “You’re Stronger Than Me” a listen, if you haven’t already. Great tune of hers with harmonizing male backup
Written by Willie Nelson!
If you like this, try Jo Stafford "You Belong To Me."
Cheers
Willie Nelson actually wrote this. He sang it too. But Patsy made it her own.
Made famous by Patsy, written by another legend; Willie Nelson.
Patsy did not like the song but agreed to sing it !
You should do "Walking After Midnight" next. It's #2 on my list after this one, and I'm not even a super country fan!
I absolutely love this song... it's tragic she lost her life so young and tragic 😥 ... R.I.P Patsy🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You should definitely check out Alabama. Either song of the south, Born country, or mountain music
believe that is the late Don Helm on steel suitar
One of the singers that Patsy had a huge influence on was Linda Ronstadt, one of my all time favorited singers. She covered this song on one her early albums. Later she got together with Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou Harris and released two outstanding albums,Trio and Trio 2. I think you would enjoy them.
