How to move an 80 ft House Boat

  • I hope you enjoy this video of us moving my buddy's 80 foot house boat from one dock to another. He recently purchased this fixer upper. It sat in a 60 foot dock for almost 30 years. We were able to move it to a more protected 80 foot dock on a different side of the marina. We have never done anything like this, but it went off without a hitch.

    The ski eyelet is not rated for towing. Good way to rip it out of the fiberglass even for short term use. Like the using seadoos for tugs.

      @@robg410 thanks. They actually never towed the boat with the skis, just lightly pushed for a little persuasion. Lol

      @@rodd8125 they do. We haven’t tested them yet. He just purchased it and needed to move it from the old owners dock to his new dock.
