I really love these videos. They definitely highlight the difference between buying cheap vs expensive foods and whether it's worth it in the end. I would however recommend maybe trying to stick to similar ingredient between the two? e.g. white bread on both expensive and cheap sides rather than two kinds of bread, and in the previous video, using two different kinds of butter and also regular caster sugar vs golden caster. I'm probably being a bit pedantic but I think it would better highlight the differences by using more similar products, just more expensive versions of them

French butter tends to be made and preserved through culturing with bacteria, English butter (like most other butters) tends to be made and preserved through salting (even unsalted butter, which just has less salt due to our more modern industrial processes). I would love to see, either another video, or at the end of each of these, you guys taking your favorite ingredients of each of these and making a mid priced version and see if it’s better than the cheap or steep versions. Just like how in this one you prefer the cheap pasta, but maybe some of the more expensive cheese, but the garlic doesn’t matter, etc.. I would love to see the compromise, if you will. Because that’s a lot more realistic. Most people will use some regular (cheaper) ingredients but spring for certain items to really make a dish pop and I’d love to see that with this videos too.
