You're wrong actually natural cornstarch doesn't have gluten but what he used was just regular store-bought cornstarch which does have gluten in it
I may be wrong but I thought cornflour and corn starch were two completely different things

So nice to know that I've been using that 'hack' for years. I started doing it when I noticed my kids would toss the extra tortilla because they wanted the filling and tortilla. Now that is my go to for making a months worth of breakfast 'rollups' and freezing them.
I love that famous member of the Kardashian family: Ken Gender.
In Spain we usually make spongecakes with olive oil or sunflower oil (the flavour is milder) but we don't add butter if there is already oil in the mixture. The burrito idea is great!!

I’m sure you will see this a lot, but there is no gluten in corn. It was probably “glutinous” which is a textural description 🤗
The reason for the slices being cut out is because people didn't like the way Kylie Jenner took out a normal slice of cake (it was uneven), so she trolled her fans by cutting out a circle.

I tried making an olive oil cake (that had rosemary in it, not just as a garnish), and it was fine while fresh but went rancid pretty quickly. Of course, there's little chance that a cake would make it to that state in Barry's household 😉

those milk balls were basically over thick blancmange. You needed to cookout the cornflour a bit longer. they were basically still raw (think of a roux when making a white sauce - you need to cook it out!

I think I would throw butter and onions (maybe peppers) in the pan, toss the cooked bacon in, add the eggs, top with tortilla, flip, add cheese, and roll.

I normally hate making breakfast burritos because it takes more time than I care to put into it to scramble the eggs and fixings, then roll each one (I usually make a few at a time) manually. I might actually start making mine like this hack!

I often use cornflour to make a cheese sauce, and if you heat it too quickly it just goes lumpy. I think maybe if you heat it slowly in a saucepan and stir it A LOT so it doesn’t clump in the same way it would make a nicer texture... I’ll try them and see if it works! 😅

Egg yolks can be whipped into a white creamy substance which can be a great foundation for cakes. You didn't go all the whole to where it's supposed to be though.

So Brits use weights for your flour and stuff, but you just use a regular spoon for eating to measure your baking powder. Very precise
