Hope you have a great Sunday folks, always enjoy making these videos with Mrs Barry.... if you want to see more check out the playlist ruclips.net/video/jdKv_PUEL90/видео.html
The pancake art generally works best with an American-style pancake batter I think because it is thicker and lays sort of flatter on the pan, so if you ever want to try the pancake art thing again that might do better for you!
It depends upon what you want to do: thicker batter for raised bits (focal points - such as delineation lines), thinner for other parts (background - such as skin if you're doing a person) of the pancake.
It gives you a wider space to grip the lemon, allowing you to use two hands to squeeze harder, as well as allowing you to apply leverage (Only if you have sturdy tongs)
@Matt S The tong trick is intended for people with bad grip or limited motor control, or who don't have a lot of hand strength, especially when squeezing multiple lemons. The juicer works worlds better, but it's a hacks video, not a "displaying useful tools that should be in every kitchen" video.
To be honest I think I might just do that panini one in general! The grill I use for paninis can sometimes brown the bread and make it a bit too crunchy, the ironing method seems to just warm it all through nicely =D
My go-to method is two normal pans. one goes on top with a heavy weight to keep it pressed. You can add foil in between if you don't trust the underside of your pan. I've seen it done with a foil-wrapped brick as well... might have been on Good Eats actually.
You guys have made my sunday!! Really missed you in the videos Mrs B and that iron moment proved it. This how channels really does shows you don't need to be uber fancy to cook and that mistakes can happen to anyone. Love you guys and your kids xx
Hey guys it was awesome seeing you two back together in the kitchen again 😁😄 Mrs "B" you are so cute and funny! Love the way you put the foil on the iron lol!!😂 Tata for now.! can't wait to see the two of you at it again!
The lemon one is supposed to be towards the hinge, then you use the open end to squeeze from. It gives you greater pressure than your hands alone. Useful for folks with low grip issues.
I think you're supposed to slice the mango alongside the flat side of the stone. That way you'll have much more to work with when slicing it into cubes.
I love you both. Besides you guys giving useful info and great recipes, the laughs brighten my day. This video (the one.where you use the iron instead of a panini maker) was one of the best. Thanks
I find that with the mango you should see which way the seed is going and then cut the same way the seed is going, this way you get more mango and easier to get the seed out.
I love watching the two of you especially when I’m feeling a bit down you cheer me up and make me laugh (a lot) As a side note I have exactly the same kitchen clock For juicing the lemon put the lemon closer to the hinge and hold the grip end
she's coming back soon we are just about to move into the studio so we dont have to film at certain times anymore so she can drop in and film on her days off work
I do the the pancake bottle one with 2 bottles, one with normal pancake mix and the other you can add colouring to or for all sweet pancakes add cocoa, you can make awesome coloured designs
I bought one of those veg chopping box-things from one of your earlier videos (The thing with the box that has a big lever that forces the food through a grid of blades into a plastic box underneath). It's really good! Completely removes the mess and effort from chopping veg. Although the bit in the lid is kind of hard to clean, and the mandoline attachment will chop one of my fingers off at some point in the future.
I love watching your videos cause you are crazy and fun, but I really enjoyed watching this video cause both of you were crazy and fun today, joking around with each other.
Cut the cheek off the mango, along the flat side of the stone. Then slice the cheek into fingers. Then slice the skin off the fingers like filleting a fish. The cheek you cut off in the video was the wrong side of the mango (by 90degrees)
Hi Barry! Love your vids esp. With Mrs Barry. To get the smell out of a bottle or container put in a squirt of lemon juice (bottled also works) and add a little luke warm/warm water. Put the lid on and give it a shake and then throw out the mixture anď give it one more quick rinse. The smell goes away immediately 😀
Mango trick, you are suppose to slice left and right cheeks of a flat seed. Mangoes in my country has flat seeds. Usually I slice diagonal lines on the cheeks as they open up easier.
Hello Barry! A method I use at home to get smells out of plastic bottles is to leave it overnight with chinese tea in. I don't remember if the tea needs to be hot or whether it is ok cool. I have always used this method with hot water, but you can try both and see how it works? I guess if it's left overnight it will cool down anyway. Thanks for the awesome video!

My Virgin Kitchen we need more recipe roulette
Wut
My Virgin Kitchen u cut the mango wrong
Flag the bizarre comment as spam, it'll go away then.
Hot chocolate from truffles... Probably wanna use actual truffles - those dome-shaped, squishy, cocoa coated type, not this fancy glazed type.
Mrs Barry's happiness and bubbly-ness is so contagious, I couldn't help but laugh along! You two are a beautiful couple
OMG YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER HAD MANGOS HAVE YOU!?!!!??! 😂😂😂😂😂 that was hilarious
No mangos aren’t a common thing we buy/eat in the uk
@@mairuzu465 speak for youself, I eat mangos a lot
Daniel Gray I’m not speaking for myself no one Ik eats them
@@mairuzu465 'no one you know' is different to all of the UK
Daniel Gray I know I’m just saying
Barry is so funny, but when his wife comes on as well it's like a whole nother level of me crying with laughter! Amazing video once again xx
The pancake art generally works best with an American-style pancake batter I think because it is thicker and lays sort of flatter on the pan, so if you ever want to try the pancake art thing again that might do better for you!
Andi Rutabaga ive tried with both amd this works better. Well it did for me anyway lol
It also helps the pancake brown if you melt down some butter in the pan first
It depends upon what you want to do: thicker batter for raised bits (focal points - such as delineation lines), thinner for other parts (background - such as skin if you're doing a person) of the pancake.
You cut the mango on the widest side of the seed... Turn it 90 so you are cutting parallel to the thinnest part of the seed
Jamie Oliver has done it loads of times on his tv shows.
This is the first time I've ever seen somebody scream, "STEADY!" and then cover their mouth like they've said the F word! Adorable. Love you guys!
15:54 "Use me as I am, no need to add oil or butter"
LOL
Daru the Super Hacker I lost it at that point 😂😂
You can actually see his mind processing at that moment. It is hilarious
Haha your not supposed to cut into the seed of the mango!
When Mrs. Barry/Becky was spraying Mr. B with the iron she looked and reminded me of Rachel/Jennifer Aniston from Friends!
Love your channel!!!
I'm dying at the fact she tried to put the foil on the iron 😂😩 I love your marriage
No. You're not
I was trying to laugh quietly as my husband is asleep. Such a good episode, loved how funny Mrs. Barry was.
I died when she covered the iron 😂😂😂😂
ItsMitchBruh You're supposed too cover the iron
Me too 🤣🤣🤣 omg
Omg. Mrs. B is awesome.
+Moko Be sure is
Bless you mrs. Barry
You are so great together! I love the fun, positive vibes on this channel. Very refreshing!
"do you want it on steam?" oh, Mrs Barry....
brilliant
I reckon the chocolate milk stuff - that might be pretty nice using Lindt eggs instead.
Lindt actually sold "hot chocolate truffles" especially designed for that purpose some years ago.
Put the lemon halfway up the handle of the tongs and squeeze either side of the lemon with both hands
Thank you explaining the sane way to do it :)
@@MendisZenias Or you just use a fork and puncture the lemonpart, that way you also squeeze the juice out of the lemon without using a lot of force.
I know this was posted a year ago but I love Mrs Barry in videos. She’s amazing and super funny.
That lady is so kind, you have such lovely friends.
To be honest I think I might just do that panini one in general! The grill I use for paninis can sometimes brown the bread and make it a bit too crunchy, the ironing method seems to just warm it all through nicely =D
yeah, that's the issue i have with most sandwich makers in general. they toast the bread way, way too much.
My go-to method is two normal pans. one goes on top with a heavy weight to keep it pressed. You can add foil in between if you don't trust the underside of your pan.
I've seen it done with a foil-wrapped brick as well... might have been on Good Eats actually.
I love these two so much! You can tell they all love each other so much!
You need a playlist of videos with Mrs. B!! And MORE videos with Mrs. B!!

R.i.p. Mangoes ripped from this world far too brutally 😂
Hey guys it was awesome seeing you two back together in the kitchen again 😁😄
Mrs "B" you are so cute and funny! Love the way you put the foil on the iron lol!!😂
Tata for now.!
can't wait to see the two of you at it again!
Don't worry Mrs Barry, I thought the exact same thing with the iron!
Oh my lol. Never a dull moment with the Barrys!
The lemon one is supposed to be towards the hinge, then you use the open end to squeeze from. It gives you greater pressure than your hands alone. Useful for folks with low grip issues.
Props to Mrs. Barry who managed to do what I never could. Flip a gosh darn pancake with the pan. I use a spatula like a nobody. Girl's got skill!
Barry, please never edit the wonderfully hilarious antics of Becky & you!
I think you're supposed to slice the mango alongside the flat side of the stone. That way you'll have much more to work with when slicing it into cubes.
eve did you watch the entire thing? They figured that out.
I love you both. Besides you guys giving useful info and great recipes, the laughs brighten my day. This video (the one.where you use the iron instead of a panini maker) was one of the best. Thanks
Love watching the family videos as they are more fun to watch
"The Barrys murder a mango"
You guys crack me up! Too funny....
"Use me as I am. No need to add oil or butter". That is what I always wanted to hear from my girlfriend. I laughed very much at this moment.

Yay!! Also love Sundays for the Barry's! Happy Sunday everyone :) x
You guys are so adorable together, I love these videos
Love when Mrs. Barry comes to "help". Is she using a new make-up or more sun... She is glowing. Lots of fun guys.
I find that with the mango you should see which way the seed is going and then cut the same way the seed is going, this way you get more mango and easier to get the seed out.
This made my day! I love when you do videos together.
Im stuck in bed sick today and you 2 have made me giggle and made the day a bit more bearable 💖
I love watching the two of you especially when I’m feeling a bit down you cheer me up and make me laugh (a lot)
As a side note I have exactly the same kitchen clock
For juicing the lemon put the lemon closer to the hinge and hold the grip end
Interesting pancakes. I love seeing how different countries do the same food.
I was laughing so hard at this one you guys are so funny together
Omg i had to rewind 3 times just to see Barry's reaction when she was going to cover the iron in foil 😂😂😂 hilarious!!
One of the best ones I've seen!! Love it when you and the missus work together!
You probably needed to slice off the cheek of the mango first and then try the hack...I think 😏
They did in the end, did you watch the video?
+MsScorpyscorp they did that
Plane EX thanks for telling me that.
Why only watch half a video before commenting, that they are doing it wrong?
Ego Geo don't feel bad, I comment as I'm watching
Yum! Lemon juice and sugar is my favourite pancake topping too! It's what I grew up with here in New Zealand
Lol! Such a fun video! I love when Mrs. Barry guest stars! I love your banter 😁.
Mrs. Barry! We miss you!!
she's coming back soon we are just about to move into the studio so we dont have to film at certain times anymore so she can drop in and film on her days off work
I want to see you two building Ikea furniture or putting up a tent. The iron panini bit was excellent :)

Mrs Barry's YAAAAS was the best part of this video!
Oh god I love Mrs Barry, "So, shall I cover the..." *goes to put the foil on the iron. XDXD
Old video I know, but I can help but tear up with laughter at the iron wrapping
Great to see Mrs. Barry in the Gadget Testing videos! This was so lovely and funny
I just love watching both of you together ❤️
After cutting the Mango... you use a spoon along the stone to help take the mango away from the stone and then do the hack!!! Works amazing!

This has been my favorite video so far!!!! Oh Mrs. Berry is too funny!! 😂😂😂😂😂

You needed to cut the mango the other way so you run the knife along the side of the stone
megan deakins did you watch the video? They did that eventually.
These two are so adorable that it's just too much. 😭😭
Nice to see Mrs barry back
Oh my gosh Mrs Berry, you cracked me up with the iron.
Love Mrs Barry, classic iron moment xx

The beautiful fruit are for guests and the pit is a bonus for the cutter
Mr and mrs barry setting the marriage example high for this generation
Lol love you guys
After seeing your reaction to Mrs Barry cover the iron with tin foil I had to watch that back 3 times cause it made me laugh so much! 😂😂😂
Lol love you kids the whole family I have so much fun watching you guys
Hilarious. Loving the panini and iron moments. Please don't change guys. Keep it real! 🤣
I have both your cook books they are so good I really like the blurb 4 some reason 😂😂
You're supposed to use American pancakes for pancake art.
dodont1991 no ur not. American pancake mixture too thick. Ive tried it before as i dont really like crepe type pancakes.
Kathleen Kelly maybe you just made your pancakes too thick. You're definitely supposed to use American pancakes tho
Kathleen Kelly I have done pancake art with American pancake batter it works great!
Maybe i did yea lol. X
I make pancakes letters for my kids often. We use American pancake mix.
