When I was just a 2nd or 3rd grader i did manage to make a gun out of cardboard and thick paper, and I was dumb enough to carry it to school and got caught haha.. ofc it was not a sword but I thought I should mention it.. and no I am not from the US.
@@K.Urnavv I feel like toy weapons are at the heart of every 3rd grade boy. I attempted several cardboard guns in the past (before I had this channel) few of them ever worked well. Thanks for the comment... Even if it is not a sword 🗡️ Blessings, - Eli
amazing, just amazing.. I really thought this video was from some fairly big channel but whoah the quality of the content is superior and almost at the level of bigger channels out there! Keep up the good work my man I can see you in the 10 million group with millions of likes and views! That is the recognition you deserve!
Wow, thank you so much for the high praise! Your encouragement helps keep me going (and your comment helps the YT algorithm). God bless and best of luck on your next project! - Eli
Wow, thank you so much for the high compliment! I am honored that I was able to give you a great video today. God bless you and good luck on whatever project you pursue next! - Eli
Haha, thank you! This video is simply a shortened version of the collaboration that we did. And it is performing better than the original! Thank you for coming over to comment! - Eli
Thank you, John. I appreciate you taking the time to watch this video and comment even though cardboard weapons are not your thing. Have a blessed day! - Eli
is there a guide onto how to stick 2 carboard pipes (usually from tin-foil rolls) of same diameter on the inside together? (i want to connect them together, but the outside diameter is thicker, therefore larger than the other)
nice sword. I made one for the Macbeth play in middle school and this would have cut mine in half.. Also that really looks like oak wood so that would make it even stronger!
I wanted to share a sword design that could actually deal damage. Honestly, when I started this project I wasn't even sure if I would make it through the banana. After finishing it I found bruises on my arms where my siblings had hit me with it 😅. I am glad you found the video to be valuable. I never really thought about how it looked like wood, but it kinda does. Cheers, - Eli
Imagine this going toe to toe with an actual sword or even a katana? I mean it probably won’t cut it in half, but it’s probably make a pretty deep bend 👍
I appreciate your faith in this design, but I doubt that it would be able bend a katana. It might bend a fencing sword in half though. Stay inspired and happy crafting! - Eli
@@masonbaker4466 I have actually touched a few real weapons, I don’t just have homemade weaponry. I was just curious if the sword was durable enough to go toe to toe with a full metal blade.
I have not tested the strength of the tip, but I would count in it to stab through cardboard or drywall. I think it might even puncture my flesh if I stabbed it at my stomach hard enough. Thanks for the question and happy crafting! - Eli

@@bobsterclause342 thank you for the suggestion, that is a smart way to make the edge of the cardboard stronger!

Thank you! 😃
I have been working hard on these videos... Maybe one day they will go big.
Good luck with all your crafts!

Wait, i am NOT watching a 5 million views video right now?
Nope, just a small channel from a dedicated crafter. Although, I would love to get 5M views (-:
I am glad the video was valuable!

Bro fr this is crazy
The video editing was on point, this is probably the best video I’ve seen on this platform today.

@@AliiiG why do you think I’m lying it was a very entertaining video that had a high production value.
can you make one of these with cardboard and tape?
Awesome video, Eli! 🙌

No, my skill set isn't in this area.
However, I do appreciate how talented you are.

I don't think you have ever felt a real weapon

@@DZM0N its cardboard obviously its not gonna bend a katana
Maybe if it went against a thin sword and you hit it on the side(?)
but can it stab with that tip?
I have not tested the strength of the tip, but I would count in it to stab through cardboard or drywall. I think it might even puncture my flesh if I stabbed it at my stomach hard enough.
