For the crafting reward, I prefer using a document stack. You can craft it into scattered papers and then craft the scattered papers back into the document stack. I've found that those extra two inventory spots are handy to have.
@@dianaulait using the document stack is also super helpful for the DIY furniture rewards too! It's just extremely tedious having to go back and forth between the document stack and the scattered papers lol.

Just thinking about the tens of thousands of nook miles I wasted on dodo tickets that ended up being in vain because I never found cool villagers. I'm know I'm not the only one.
every time i play acnh i have to remind myself to fish or catch bugs - gathering nook miles was so easy for me at the start of the game, but i feel like its so hard for me now lol. i will be taking notes during this vod.
same here!! it’s been a while since i neglected my fishing rod and now that i know exactly how these work, it’s a lot easier than i thought it would be
omg as someone with a newer island... this is very very helpful. dont forget anyone restarting, you need to incorporate nook miles for terraforming tools too!
You can time-travel without going to a ddierent date by resetting the same day rerpeatedly. Each reset at 5:00am resets nook mile tasks and the initial reward tasks are at least double and sometimes there's a single task for 5 times the usual value. I would at least do the single 5x task worth 750 and any of the others that are quick then you can reset them by changing the clock back to 4:59am. (Also bonus: every "new" day produces a new glowing spot!)
Waitttttt I didn’t even think about time travelling to the same day over again! One of the main issues that’s put me off time traveling is loads of things on my island changing. Mainly villagers forgetting me, loads of weeds etc., but will those changes occur if you redo the same day over again? Will any changes happen by time travelling like that?
@@sophiepophie1295 I never seen any weeds because no time is actually passing. Same thing with villagers, whenever you interact with them afterwards, they don't say whre you been, because no time has actually passed cause its the same/next day. At 5am there's usually ony one villager awake and out so you can grind without being interrupted. The drawback of 5am is that the shop isn't open so you can't make & sell the hot item. (Of couse AFTER you reset to 5am you can time-travel forward to later in the day if you want.)
Here's a different way if you're fine time traveling: S1: Travel to January 1st of any year (2060 is the max) S2: go to the nook stop in resident service and you will get 500 nook miles S3: Repeat as many times as you want
Year 2061: Opens old animal crossing save just to see how things are going and if villagers remember you. Weeds everywhere, destroyed houses, not a villager insight. Resident Center is covered in plantlife and abandoned, dodo airport has fallen into the sea
another good tip (idk if anyone else has commented it) is that when you get the mushroom foraging nook miles reward, you can just pick up the same mushroom 3 times, you don’t have to pick up different ones! and you can do it by dropping mushrooms that you already had in storage and picking them up, not just ones that appear naturally! pretty quick fix!
@@crysball438 Residential services is closed on December 31st so to apologize for breaking your streak and not being able to use the machine they give you 500 nook miles if you connect on January 1st
Ha! I knew stacking up on Nookmiles back in june was a good idea, my sister laughed at me for not going villager hunting or nookazon but now I'm sitting at a chill 70k nookmiles, ready to get everything I want.
I typically look at what I need to do, and if it involves a lot of things like chopping down a tree, planting, and collecting sea creatures, I go to a mystery island so I don't have to chop my own trees or plant/water things on my own island that I don't want.
@@kiwigirlNZ Well, you're not wrong. Lol. But if you're already villager hunting, it's a great way to hunt and knock those nms out. I just prefer to do all of that chopping and planting on a mystery island if I've got my island exactly where I want it. And I've got a ton of tickets in storage, so it's not really using those Nook miles, since I already have the tix.
so for the chopping your trees task, you can get use a flimsy axe to do the chopping. this tip is also useful bc you need to break 100 axe tools to unlock the golden axe diy. also why don’t you want to go collecting sea creatures on your own island? it would save you a trip. and the planting the flowers, you can just dig them back up. oh and if you don’t want flowers to spread when you water them, you can put an invisible custom design around the flower bed.
Some tips if you don't want to leave your island: For "cut down a tree" I usually cut down a fully grown money tree (since I rarely get the request more than once per day, and occasionally get a second money tree when doing stuff on my hotel character), For "chop 10 times" I use a flimsy axe to not cut anything down, For any planting you can just plant, dig up and sell the tree/flower, For "tend flowers" it's useful to have some boxed in flowers or a flower field large enough that if you water in the middle of it, it can't spread
Another tip fix to grind for Nook Miles after Nook‘s Cranny closes (22h/10pm) will prevent prevent ‚paywall‘ quests that will require an interaction with Timmy & Tommy such as spend Bells, plant saplings, customizing and also selling hot items…the turn over revolves around more easier tasks like catching, diving, planting fruit trees, selling shells. Bug spawns at night can be challenge…look for moths near village and residential services lamps, listen for crickets, check stumps, cruise the beaches for hermit crabs and hit rocks for pillbugs/centipedes.

Me with 100k+ nook miles from like a year ago because I stopped needing to use them for anything: cool
>Me sitting on a hoard of 123,400 Nook Miles.
Nice. I'm ready!
this will be very useful as just the other day I tried gathering nookmiles and the resemblance to a headless chicken was uncanny 😅 luv u🍂
hahaha pls not this 😭 thanks for watching and being so sweet tuesday!
Thank you for this guide! Its very helpful!
Thank you for the guide! Been on the grind since restarting my island for the update too. ;-;
you’ve got this quinn!! 😩 i’m on the same boat but this really makes it all so attainable
Love you and your content!
Thanks for the help, will definitely grind for the nook miles now as I’m so excited for the update!! ♥️
another thing i jusy thought of; bring bait too! so you don't have to venture along the beach
I’ve been playing for a little over a year, and have been doing the 5 things to do plus extras every day. I have 586,580 now. I have been redeeming them as well for mystery island tickets, and some items.. so right now I’m trying to get even more and not spend any!
Oh well, the 450k+ nook miles I have seems like it will cover what I need.
You should craft the weeds into the leaf umbrellas and it would sell for more
ive been saving a bunch of miles before I knew this update was coming but im definitely gonna grind the nookie nook miles now!
Oh man this is greatttt, I’m gonna pump up my miles big time
I don’t have the patience for this 😭 what I do is I time travel backward a day at a time and just complete the x5 and x2 nook goals for that day. It gets you nook miles super quick :))
I have a trash can next to ables and nooks and the gate lol saves me sooooo much time
I have ugly options in my nook mile store so I never really use them, I’ve hoarded 240k in total 🤣🤣 will definitely still be taking your advice so I can build the 90k back up once I’ve gone on a shopping spree on the 5th ! sksk
What codes are you using on your island? They’re so cute!!💗
I already have quite a bit over 80,000 (forgot the full number)
But this is very helpful cuz I like just having alot of nook miles, 24/7 so after the update I want to have alot left so this helps so much!
Thank you 😊🥰
Oh this is genius! And indeed timing it will make it much more fun! Will start doing this. Is it the fifth yet lol.
notice a few good songs from Wild World
i was sitting here thinking my 12,000 nook miles would be plenty.... oh no
Thank so much to put up this video and tips together! What is the playlist in the background?
lmao im waiting until november 18th because college and i know my dumbass will procrastinate like no one's business if i touch this juicy update on the 5th
I've got 120k NM racked up. I think I'm good. Maybe I'll even be a little philanthropic and order a bunch more extra items and do a nookazon giveaway.
we love a philanthropic queen 😌
I cannot remember how many nook miles I had, but I for sure have enough.
PLEASE someone tell me what that song is at the very end of the video (9:57)!! I’ve had it in my head and could not for the life of me remember what it was from
Not the AC update making me bust out my dusty old fishing rod again 🥴
*Snorts my Nook miles, will to live and lack of sleep* TIME TO GRIND BECAUSE I WANT TICKETS BECAUSE I RESTARTED AT 4PM LAST NIGHT AND IT'S NOW 5:30 AM! WHOO!
you can do it bestie 😭😭
I think the timer will actually make it fun. Like competing with yourself lol
