Julia Grabiec Are you familiar with the concept of buying something ? You know that you can’t use nook miles in themselves, right? The only thing you can do with them is spend them. So the only reason you do tasks is to get nook miles ticket and to spend them after. This means that if you get a quest like this you can buy one of the things you were going to buy ANYWAY and get 200 nook miles free. This comment didn’t have to be as long as it is but its really the only way to look at it
Julia Grabiec Why would you be doing this to ONLY get nook miles? That’s like spending money on something you know you won’t use for the sake of getting a discount. Spend it on something you NEED, something you would USE, like a furniture item to decorate your island.
it usually does that with beetles for me, it was a violin beetle yesterday and I couldn't find one until the very end of the day. then today it was a jewel beetle and I couldn't find one then when one finally spawned I didn't see it and I walked too close to it so it flew away 😭
Another cool tip for beginners: if you just read through all the nook miles (not the nook miles + area) you can find some easy ones to do for a good amount of nook miles! Then you are gonna get more than 10k nook miles an hour! Excellent video by the way! 👍
I used to keep stacks of 20 weeds around, when they were a nook miles task. I don’t know when or why I don’t get them anymore but that god, I hated making stacks of 20.

Thank you so much for the inventory setup dude. I want to hunt all my villagers of choice from Nook miles islands. I don't time travel or dupe so this will speed things up for 100k + nook points
Yes I love this so much. But if your like me and don’t like cutting down trees I suggest having a regular stone axe as well in your inventory. So you still get wood and you don’t have to loose a tree. ❤️
Kill two birds with one stone and use that one to chop your money tree. If you forget and do your money tree earlier, save it and go to an island where you can get out some aggression with the bs in this game by chopping trees with zero care. As a nature lover who would never harm a tree in real life, I've got to admit there's something very cathartic about it. Especially on bamboo island..... You can also have a few designated trees you save for those moments where you need to chop a tree for miles, have chopped the money tree and gone to an island or no time.. when it asks you to plant a tree/shrub, plant a tree and let it grow, knowing it is your emergency quick-chop and there is no emotional attachment to this one. It's literally there to chop when you need to. Just aim to use the money tree or mystery island trees first. These ones on your island are last minute rush cuts.
Some other items that I think are essential and have on my inventory when doing the missions are hard, soft and regular wood, iron nuggets, sticks and stones. When doing all the missions that requires tools, they have a tendency to break so I just have those items on hand.
the net, fishing rod, shovel, and slingshot all get their durability replenished when you customize them. Whenever I get the feeling I’ve been using them for too long, that’s usually when I use the kit on them. The only breakable tools you can’t customize are the axes, so instead of hard wood and soft wood, keep branches and stones with iron with you or somewhere laying around.
Must say that you can use a fridge or really anything else to change your outfit for some reason Tysm for the video! I love this and I'll do it totally :D
Lol yeah I have a safe with visible gold bars inside and instead of saying "A safe! I wonder how much I can make from this..." my guy has the bright idea to use it as a closet lololololol
I watched this video last year, but it popped up on my recommended list today so I watched it again. Timely reminder, since the 2.0 release is only a few days away. Thanks!
This is extremely helpful, thank you! I've been grinding NMT every day for the past two months because I want to go looking for my favorite villagers. I'm not very lucky and I know I'll burn through a lot of tickets looking for them, so I want to have a lot. Ultimate goals are Raymond and Freya! Thanks for the video!
A few tweaks I would make to your inventory setup: 1. Have a few crafting stations dotted around your island so you don't need to plop down and pick up your crafting bench every so often. You just visit your nearest station. 2. Have common crafting materials located at those stations for building new tools in the event a tool breaks because you hadn't customized it soon enough. 3. Have items that can be used to change clothes also dotted around your island. A great one is the cooler. It works well paired with a barbeque or on the beach with some fishing furniture and can be used to change your clothes easily. Now no need to carry an item like that around, just visit your closest one when you get the goal to do it. 4. Keep one of the Document Stack or Scattered Papers in your inventory if you have both of their DIYs learned. Then you can just craft them back and forth for the 3 craft goal if you aren't up for digging up more clams or whatnot. 5. Keep a stone axe in inventory for collecting wood so you don't accidentally chop a tree down with the regular axe. And additional tips: 6. When you have the "Hit rocks" goal, go to a rock, set up and smack it the 8 times (bonus points, have furniture laid out at your rocks that allows you to smack them without needing to dig the holes, good furniture to put would be the cooler and mini DIY workbench if your rocks are scattered everywhere). Collect the miles, do not go and hit the other rocks, leave them because that's an easy goal to clear and you could have it show up multiple times a day. 7. When you get the one telling you to spend 500 miles to get 200 miles, go ahead and buy either the cheapest thing you don't have that you want or buy one of what you are collecting miles for (if you are saving for Mystery Island Tickets for example, go ahead and buy one). Just store it in your house storage or sell it at your next opportunity. Yes, doing this is a net loss of miles but you are gaining either something you do not have or something you were saving to buy in bulk anyway. 8. If you have friends you can visit their islands to water their flowers and sell your native fruit for big bells (if they have a different native fruit). Plus you can then restock on non native fruit in their shop, this allows you to hit the Watering goal, the sell fruit goal, sell 5000 bells worth of goods, and buy 5000 bells worth of goods goals. Bonus points, your friends may have an easier/cheaper to craft hot item of the day (maybe your hot items are an Ironwood Kitchenette and Large Cardboard Boxes, but theirs are Campfire and Blue Rose Crown), and when you return to your own island you'll get some miles just for traveling to another person's island. Additional bonus points, any flowers you water for them will be more likely to breed/clone. Same if you have friends come to your island to water. Up to 6 people watering your flowers provides the maximum benefit. 9. In addition to having crafting materials on tables near crafting benches, also having a few premade fresh tools scattered around in case a tool breaks on you, then you can grab the fresh one if you are close by instead of having to take the time to craft a new one. So you could have fishing poles on your coastlines and along your clifftop river, nets around your flower gardens and the river, shovels by rocks or the coastlines...
I think getting vouchers is the best one for 200 off. Plus sometimes not during mayday you may (not intended) need to use a real axe and you can combine that with with wood goal
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I'm a purist, so I don't TT or cheat or exploit bugs. This is video is all about optimizing your time and inventory and that's what I'm here for! Great video and I'm looking forward to your future AC installments! ^-^
To clear up inventory spaces, place work benches, coolers, and changing rooms around as decorations. For some odd reason you can change with coolers, but what I can't use as decor, I hide behind buildings or with plants.
Catching specific fish and bugs feel like the worst to get, especially since I sometimes add a rule for myself to not cash in nook miles plus tasks until all 5 are completed (just to keep things from getting stale too quickly). I feel like the AC devs can add a lot more +tasks into the mix, and they have for specific events. But permanent +task additions would be even nicer.
Very simple yet effective, even as a new comer most of these I’m capable of doing to gather a decent amount of bell. Thanks a lot, you deserve this sub
This actually makes it fun to get nook miles, I was really just looking for some ways to get miles, and I can say I got pleasantly surprised by this. Thank you very much!
Ok I love you!! Lol! I wanted to know how to increase my nook miles without ‘cheating’ to me by time travel etc (that’s a personal thing and I have no issue with others time travelling if that’s ok with them then it’s fine to me) anyway I kinda half had this in that I had realised I needed to use those top tasks but I hadn’t gone far enough in make it a routine! So thank you so much for this xx
Instead of manila clams, use bamboo. The recipe for the bamboo wall decoration only requires one bamboo, meaning you can do ten DIY quests with a single inv slot
The recipe for document stack takes scattered papers. The recipe for scattered papers takes document stack. I just craft the same furniture back and forth.
I wanted to let you know that this really helped me. I did this as my primary activity (though in not quite such a disciplined way) and really banked the miles. Thank you!
My rule for myself is to not do anything "for free". I dont do my daily tasks until the nook miles reward populates. this way i can get all my double miles done first and then work on the lower mile tasks.
Instead of the clams --> fish bait for the crafting task, you can have a stack of coconuts if you have the coconut juice DIY. Upgrades the sell price of coconuts from 250/coconut to 500/coconut too
I would rlly like to see you do a 40 minute long video of u earning nook miles since I love to watch ppl doing the same thing i am doing in game eg if I am villager hunting I will watch villager hunting videos
I did that, but I sell two wasps instead of 1 stack of fruit, and I bring a trash can with me at all times. Also I craft medicine cause finding manila clams is a pain.
I always seem to get the nook mile plus miles that are catch a blue marling, catch a golden bug and basically all the rare ones it's annoying But I tend to have fun getting nook miles.
The only thing I would do differently is place a couple DIY workbenches and closets on opposite ends of the island and replace that with small stacks of wood, iron, and sticks for whenever your tools break.
Tyson! This helped me a lot even though I have 3 of my dreamies I am still looking for my other ones and I have been trying to farm nook points without the inventory u showed in this video but now it will be wayyy faster to farm! Tysm to whoever made the inventory and ty for showing us this :3
After using this as a guide, if you want to up the ante, make an entirely flat island with no rivers. And layout the island such that everything you need is close together. You save 2 inventory slots since you won't need the pole or ladder. Albeit, this only works if you haven't done any island work lol.
This is amazing. I am the Aka AC support for 2 of my children, 7 and 9 year old. They are super slow in earning bell and nook mile .. they are watching me like running a magic show to earn all the miles in 30 min. I am helping them to redeem stuff ! A busy mom in both real and virtual life 😭 love many of your videos! 👍🏻
Omg I've actually been doing something very similar! My goal every day is to get 10K miles so I can go hunting for my dream villager once someone moves out haha. My method is not nearly as refined as the one outlined in your video though!
You can also save space in your inventory if you make multiple DIY workbenches and place them in strategic locations around the island. I like to put one right in front of Nook's Cranny and one in front of my house.
This was SO helpful. I am a very new player. I have been looking to farm for nook miles (i have nook miles+) so i can get nook tickets! I have been so excited for this game and i thank you for the help!
This was super helpful! I want to stock up on Nook Miles before the update comes so I can get a lot of new things. I recently reset my entire island so I only have like 3k Nook Miles. On my previous island I had over 150k! This will definitely get me there fairly quickly. Thanks so much for this video!
Just gave this a try and managed to get abt 8000 miles in ~40 minutes! For the craft three items task, after I burned through a few manila clams I remembered that I have both the scattered documents and document stack DIYs and I just crafted one into the other back and forth in a loop and that was a biiig time saver. defo recommend for anyone who has/can get their hands on both of those DIYs
Thank you! Although this was made 3 years ago, it still works to this day! (24/09/23) The 24th of September 2023) it's very efficient and I cannot recommend more! Many thanks.
Oh I have another one, if you have coconuts and the diy for coconut juice you can make that really easily and it even sells for more then just a single coconut
Awesome! I slowly learned some of these like the bait and customizing tools thing, especially after running out of nmt when villager hunting. Great video!
I'm so glad for this. I've been doing this for a couple months and saved up 100 nmt. Coach moved out today and I found Julian on ticket #60 though I was tempted by #25 Dobie and #49 Marina. Now I can go back to saving for Lucky, Audie, Diana, or Poppy
You really deserve more subs, man. I really enjoy your informative videos as you're super chill and calm. I find out a bunch of stuff about the game from your channel that I never would find out otherwise! Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Hey! I finally found this Video after a while. I'm guessing nobody will see this because it's been so long but I just wanna thank you for using my layout and I'm glad I could help!
I do indeed want to see you grinding out nook points. I've done this myself once trying to get enough tickets for turnip trades, and I made about the same amount in the same time, but I'd like to see someone else do so as well, to compare and contrast, etc.
Customizing also resets your tool as if it's brand new! I generally try and pay attention to how much I've used any of the tools, usually shovel, net, and fishing rod, and just customize so I don't have to buy or diy one so often. Hope that helps anyone! :)
Wish knew about this a weeks ago after I grinned for over 387 NMT in the hopes that I’ll did get my dreamies Avery, Raymond, Olivia, Freya, and Vivian (which thankfully I did, wasting a grand total of 339 NMTs which is equivalent to 678,000 NMs). I was probably making anywhere between 9k to 6k an hour and see I can that I could’ve made 10k plus is beyond me. Regardless great video, might have to subscribe, you content seems great!
I would suggest adding a few things: 1. Add a furniture item that allows you to change into another outfit. (include another outfit to change into). 2. Add some fossils as that can be a Nook Miles Task.
for anyone who is okay with time traveling, i dont know if anyone else down here covered it but you can go to January 1st at any time past 8am and claim your 500 nook miles, going back one year every time. have fun!
Sooo helpful - tysm! Especially love the explanation of the inventory layout & how to complete more than 1 task at a time - so useful! I seem to have a tonne of miles but never enough bells though.. now 800
Instead of manila clams, use bamboo. The recipe for the bamboo wall decoration only requires one bamboo, meaning you can do ten DIY quests with a single inv slot
The recipe for document stack takes scattered papers. The recipe for scattered papers takes document stack. I just craft the same furniture back and forth.
i know im 3y late, but arent manila clams kinda just easier to get?
This channel is super underrated! Great video and subscribed 👍🏼
Thank you! I’m grinding for NMTs cuz Lopez wants to move out and I want maple but on Nookazon she is 42 NMTs and I have one
thanks so much! this was really helpful. nook mile gathering can be tedious but when you have everything organized it makes it really easy!
*me realizing there’s no lemons in animal crossing anymore* 👁👄👁
I wanted to let you know that this really helped me. I did this as my primary activity (though in not quite such a disciplined way) and really banked the miles. Thank you!
This man just saved a heap of people 1-10 hours on grinding for miles.
He's out saviour.
*I've now subscribed*
My rule for myself is to not do anything "for free". I dont do my daily tasks until the nook miles reward populates. this way i can get all my double miles done first and then work on the lower mile tasks.
THANK YOU! I don’t want hacks or cheats! I just want to grow my island and this is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much
Instead of the clams --> fish bait for the crafting task, you can have a stack of coconuts if you have the coconut juice DIY. Upgrades the sell price of coconuts from 250/coconut to 500/coconut too
I would rlly like to see you do a 40 minute long video of u earning nook miles since I love to watch ppl doing the same thing i am doing in game eg if I am villager hunting I will watch villager hunting videos
This vid was drowning in time traveling vids and I’m so glad I found this one thanks tons!
I did that, but I sell two wasps instead of 1 stack of fruit, and I bring a trash can with me at all times. Also I craft medicine cause finding manila clams is a pain.
Everyone can relate bro 💪💪👍💯
Thank you so much for this video!! I used to struggle with gaining nook miles but this video (with the inventory layout) has helped sooo much!!
I was doing something similar but I just wasn’t keeping stacks of things like a dummy! Thank you so much! I did get to 94k NM over a few days.
I always seem to get the nook mile plus miles that are catch a blue marling, catch a golden bug and basically all the rare ones it's annoying
But I tend to have fun getting nook miles.
Tysm to whoever made the inventory and ty for showing us this :3
I think you’ve joined protendo as one of the most underrated youtubers of all time
After using this as a guide, if you want to up the ante, make an entirely flat island with no rivers. And layout the island such that everything you need is close together. You save 2 inventory slots since you won't need the pole or ladder. Albeit, this only works if you haven't done any island work lol.
Thank you so much for this! This will be a really helpful guide for me, I usually spend a couple hours just getting 5k nook miles
Your subcount is growing super fast!
You deserve it.
This is the best tutorial to get nook miles fast without time traveling! I subscribed!
Great video :) Loved that its "no cheats"! And I would love to watch the 45 min to 1 hour video of getting Nook Miles!
That's really helpful for somebody like me that is always in need for nook miles
I have been so excited for this game and i thank you for the help!
you’re a lifesaver thank you
This was super helpful!
This is so smart and efficient !! I’m still in my first week of playing ANCH. Thank you so much!! 💫✨
Thank you! Although this was made 3 years ago, it still works to this day! (24/09/23) The 24th of September 2023)
it's very efficient and I cannot recommend more! Many thanks.
This is so smart and efficient. Can you make a video of you farming for nook miles it’s entertaining for me
If digging up manilla clams is too tedious and you already have a surplus of tree branches, you can simply make 3 campfires for 3 sticks each!
OH MY GOSH-
I absolutely NEEDED this video
Marina, here I come!!
Hey! I finally found this Video after a while. I'm guessing nobody will see this because it's been so long but I just wanna thank you for using my layout and I'm glad I could help!
Thanks so much for this video, I am for sure using these tips and tricks!
For the crafting, get the patterns for document stack and scattered papers. Each calls for the other so you can "craft" the same furniture infinitely.
I’m getting tips for animal crossing before I get an Nintendo and this is very helpful! Excellent video!
With 2.0, doing this is even faster/easier. 2.0 is the best thing to ever happen to my life. :D
bruh you are INCREDIBLY underrated! I didn’t even check your sub count but I’d have expected you’d have like 300k or something man
Bro you just saved me thank youuuuu!
I do indeed want to see you grinding out nook points. I've done this myself once trying to get enough tickets for turnip trades, and I made about the same amount in the same time, but I'd like to see someone else do so as well, to compare and contrast, etc.
Thanks for this Ryan! I’d love the full 45 min play through!
You had 600 subs yesterday!!! Now you have 700?!?! Amazing!
900 now lol
1.11K now!
7.7k now wow
57.3k now!
you can tell this video helped alot i came back to this today!
CONGRATS ON 1K
I misread and thought it was Nook Mile Tickets because I wanted that... but this still works for me!
What a great idea idk why I never just stopped to think why am I running everywhere? Just carrying it on me would be so much easier.
Honestly I love your videos so much I would willingly watch you get nm’s
I would suggest adding a few things:
1. Add a furniture item that allows you to change into another outfit. (include another outfit to change into).
2. Add some fossils as that can be a Nook Miles Task.
He has a changing room, it’s the last one
He talked about 1. In the video
I was really struggling to get nook miles and this video helped me alot
for anyone who is okay with time traveling, i dont know if anyone else down here covered it but you can go to January 1st at any time past 8am and claim your 500 nook miles, going back one year every time. have fun!
RUclips gettin real comfy with these double ads
Sooo helpful - tysm! Especially love the explanation of the inventory layout & how to complete more than 1 task at a time - so useful!
I seem to have a tonne of miles but never enough bells though.. I never really use my miles much 😂
I'm going to see if you have a similar video about how to efficiently earn bells without time travel!
Also if you don’t want or need nook mile tickets you can sell them at Nooks cranny for 10,000 bells each
