Perfect video. Thanks mate!
Thank you for the video. Really informative and no nonsense. Well done. Thank you again.
Glad it helps!
Great video man ! I’m changing the rectifier on my 06 600 … new battery and the bike starts ups and if I turn it off I won’t be able to turn it on
thanks brother do you know if what's volts the battery is at while the bike is running? I always replace both stator and rectifier when I'm having charging issues did you not replace the stator too?
@@SUPSGARAGE I haven’t order the stator yet ! I already order the rectifier could order both due to $ issues but I’ll order the next one next week…. The battery I haven’t tested yet due to the problem started today ! Tomorrow a buddy of mine it’s going to come with a meter and we will find out ! ( LOVE THE CONTENT ❤️ keep up bro)
Great video! Where did you get the forged carbon pieces? They look wicked
thanks brother! 😊👍 and the bike is not mine but those pieces were wrapped
Thanks for the video man! Helped out alot! Is the small washer at 15:20 that goes on the outside the same size as the one on the inside?
Glad it helped you brother! and yes but usually the front one has a slight bent on it (to have tension) that's how I know that one goes last.
@SUPSGARAGE it's a wave washer?
yes it was
After replacement did you hear a slight whirring noise when pulling in the clutch and slowing down coasting? I put locktite on the bolts so I don’t know what else could be the issue
no I didn't not brother if you have Instagram send me a video of what it's doing sups_garage
Does it effect airflow by putting the rectifier in the airbox?
No brother does not make a difference
when removing the fuel line? does it ever stop pouring petrol out of there? do you need to empty the tank first?
it should stop if you raise the line higher then the tank if I remember correctly brother
Hey dude, thanks for your video! I'm trying to nail down which of the two I'll have to replace. Would you happen to know what might be happening when I ride my 2006 gsxr 600 for a bit and then the battery dies? It seems like it isn't getting charged. I'm guessing it's probably the stator, but just wanted to confirm if that's the case.
Thanks for the support brother! And its best to always replace both brother because if you just replace one part, chances are the other part is going to fail soon as well.
@@SUPSGARAGE sounds good! I saw in some other videos that you should drain the oil before switching out the stator. Is that really necessary? Just curious because I didn't see it in yours.
@henderson1147 well some oil will come out especially if ur the type to over fill your bike lol but that's why you should leave a container underneath, because when you do remove the stator cover a little oil will come out brother
I rode my gsxr 600 k7, at about 40-50km/h. suddenly all the lights on the speedometer flashed. also all power went from motorcycle. that means there is no power on it now when i turn the key. the problem could be the stator. ? and it should be said that there is power on the battery.
sounds like it could be the stator brother but will the bike turn back on?
same thing happens to me so i jump started the bike and got it a bit further down the road and it started smoking. the rectifier melted and got little molten balls of metal everywhere. rip.
Hi can I ask you a question?
whats your question brother?
Do u drain ur oil beforehand??
no need to drain your oil out because it shouldn't be that much that will come out brother
@@SUPSGARAGE thank you brother, bout to do my 07 gsxr right now
@sittinsideways3744 should be pretty easy for ya brother 😊👍
So im replacing mine today did you drain the oil?
No I didn't have to brother it will just be a little bit that should come out if your bike is leveled
@@SUPSGARAGEhow about this do i need to add oil to the new coils? and i got a little bit of dirt in the stator case do i just wipe it out?
Whats that gear and assembly called?
which part exactly brother?
@@SUPSGARAGEat 5:23 inside the stator cover assembly
@@BATGSXR1 are you just trying to get a part number for the gear?
@@SUPSGARAGE part number or even just what it's called "stator gear" is not quite showing me what im looking for
Are you talking about the starter idle gear? here is the part number 12611-01H00
