NOTE FOR CAPTIONS !!
life got a bit messy today and so the person captioning had to take some time for themselves, they will be finished and published within the next few hours.
thank you for understanding!
What are your earrings in this video called and where can I buy them

"Being queer is self obsessed" says the self obsessed man
It's okay, straight white men are allowed to be self obsessed! Only them tho, no one else can even have a sense of identity they remotely feel comfortable with and pride themselves in (according to them)
Then why make everything gay?

I'm a trans man, and I'm not on T anymore. I felt pressured to be on hormones early on even though I didn't really want them. You know who I felt pressured from? It wasn't other trans people. It was cis people who couldn't comprehend a trans man embracing his femininity. Trans people are not trying to "trans the youths".

@Ville Making an informed decision about my body and my health = something wrong with me. Ok, honey. Whatever you say. Lol
Pronouns are so easy. It’s not that people don’t understand, it’s that they don’t *want* to understand. They choose to be ignorant, and that makes it even more infuriating.
Edit: I completely forgot to mention that slip ups can happen, and it’s okay as long as you’re trying! But going “oh my gosh it’s just soooooo hard and confusing” in that one tone is a real dick move. It shows you aren’t trying.
@Ville wow you actually didn’t use a pronoun in that sentence. Normally people use “I” in sentences like that. You did it right, congrats first time I’ve seen that.

“He created them male and female.” I really wonder how Paul would explain the fact that intersex people exist 🤣😂
He probably thinks they’re the spawn of Satan or something equally cult-like
No joke, early Jewish tradition had it that this line was _literal._ Male and female he created _them,_ meaning a single individual with both genders, which would be separated out later.

For real 😂😂
I wonder how flabbergasted he was the first time he used "you" to refer to one person! GASSPPPPP
or how some words in the english language are both singular and plural. Dude probably thinks "fishes" is the plural version of "fish"
You're gonna kill the guy.
It infuriates me when people use the “They/Them is a plural” argument, because I KNOW that anytime there is a situation that comes up in conversation where the person’s gender isn’t explicitly stated, these people 100% use they/them to describe that person. Then they conveniently forget about all of that when somebody actually wants to be referred to in that way.
not to mention singular they/them is way older than singular you, shit's older than Shakespeare by 400 years, and it's not like people haven't attempted alternatives like thon/thons and figured out they/them was just way easier in the long run
also, paul seems like the type of individual who believes "fishes" is the grammatically correct term for the plural version of "fish"
Not to mention that they'd be the first ones to object if someone wanted to use neopronouns

I think the point Paul was trying to make is that he is so incredibly fragile in his gender identity that any amount of ambiguity threatens it. He also seems easily influenced by others, sign of a weak inner voice. I'd almost feel bad for him if he wasn't actively making the world a worse place with his platform.
Well said.
I think it’s really cool that Demi Lovato is experimenting with pronouns. We should normalize changing them as you discover yourself and it’s really important that she’s done this on such a big stage! She received so much online hate for changing to they/them, it’s ridiculous that people are mad she’s going back to she/her again. There’s no winning. Trans people make conservatives mad just by existing, it has nothing to do with the pronouns smh
Edit: I would also like to acknowledge that Demi is Latin, and historically speaking we (speaking as a fellow Latin nonbinary person) have not always shared the white colonizer’s strict ideas of gender anyways >:/
To be clear Demi it's not going back to using she/her, she is using they/she

Yeah I can't understand how you can say that aloud and not realize how unbeliveably stupid it sounds.
I’m a “masc presenting” non-binary person and people argue my identity all the time. Funny thing is, everyone argues something different. All these arguments compiled together just validate my non-binary experience even more.
Usually I get the “well you don’t look feminine” statements . I tell them I dress how I feel comfortable in public and that if they saw me on a night out they’d actually see my insides reflected to my outsides.
My entire life I’ve been told I’m not manly enough. Now that I identify as non-binary people are so quick to invalidate me and say I’m actually a man now. 🙃
You are exactly who you say you are.
🙏❤️🏳️🌈
I had the opposite experience where I wore male clothes for people to treat me as masculine as possible. And it worked. But I was so so so miserable wearing those clothes that don't fit me and don't represent anything creative (because anything that isn't the most basic design is not masculine anymore). I got tired, I wear dressed again, I rock them, just wish ppl would be nicer.
Clever
recently a girl who i don't even know texted me saying that her sister saw me on social media and they started arguing about the fact that i use they/he/ləi pronouns while wearing make up and dressing feminine. i don't understand why someone would "care" so much about the identity of a person they've never even seen before.
@@Pesciolotto How do you pronounce the last pronoun you use? I’ve never heard of it before, so I’m really curious!
I will say, as a writer, yes, writting about two people in the same sentence who use the same pronouns is always confusing. I usually just write the sentence using their names
English is not my first language but isn't it also difficult to write the sentence with two people having the same pronouns in general? Just curious hahah :)
@@orangentage it is, I usually end up just using their names that way it actually makes sense, ha ha
absolutely.
also, a lot of the time i find that as long as you’re following proper grammar, even if i put pronouns in the one sentence, i can still distinguish between both characters or people
I'm bilingual English and Spanish and can also understand Portuguese and I can attest that yes, when two people have the same pronouns it's difficult to write them in sentences without using their names, regardless of the language. However, it is also true that good grammar and punctuation helps A LOT to distinguish them
It amuses me that two people, who I didn't even remember existed, and most definitely couldn't have named, are asking if this celebrity is relevant.

Cis-Hets think surgery is like walking up to a chemist and asking for off-the-counter drug. It’s a whole process. Also, not every Trans person needs invasive surgery, which is bio essentialism which is a separate video essay.
@Ville get a life
@Ville it is NOT mutilation. it is a safe surgery.
@Ville You weren't, and will never be asked.
I'm fortunate to have found a doctor who does no questions asked hysterectomies, but most people do not have that experience. Most people have to jump through a thousand hoops, and even if you could just walk up to a surgeon and ask for surgery, people aren't deciding to have surgery without thoroughly thinking it through. It may happen in rare cases, but acting like it's the norm is extremely dishonest.
@Ville it’s not mutilation. It’s surgery and not every trans person gets surgery. Plus, surgery is safe. When you say mutilation you imply it to be something that’s dangerous and brutal when in actuality it is very safe, healing, and recommend by doctors and many other professionals in the medical field.
13:15 I’m thoroughly flummoxed too at the fact that an person who has probably studied English is blissfully unaware that ‘they’ can be used to refer to one person. Flummoxed/Flabbergasted/Gobsmacked/Amazed/Speechless indeed.
And I guarantee you they will use "they" in the singular without even thinking about it. They're not unaware, they just want to be disrespectful.
"How can THEY use a plural pronoun for one person, THEYRE so weird for that" like they're so close to getting it😭😭😭
My house spouse has a lounging skirt and it's easily the most frequently worn thing in their closet. Has long hair, and a big bushy beard and is built like a brick shithouse. For their birthday, I got them a pamper sesh, exfoliating and moisturising hand massage and shellac manicure. They chose glittery blue and purple. I like how they assume teens are getting surgeries to transition when surgeries are incredibly difficult to get as a teen and even more expensive. It’s so assuming how little they know about the topics they talk about.
Well, that's always the point that conservatives (especially the fundies) use. When I first realised I wasn’t cis, I used she/they. Now I use he/xey. This is just because I spent a year and a half figuring myself out and realising what I was comfortable with. No one pushed me to my position and despite the fact I’d been watching trans creators since the age of 11, I only realised I could be trans at 14. Seeing trans people didn’t make me trans, being trans made me trans (also, I still very much like makeup and dresses, my only problem is they make me look more typically feminine so people will identify me as a “girl” more easily. If my body reflected my gender I’d love them)
ME TOO!!!! when I first realized I wasnt cis, I also used she/they, I now use he/him! it took me a while to see what fit and I finally found it! as soon as I start t and have top surgery, Ill wear dresses, then ones with the spinny skirts

Growing up I didnt really care for Demi Lovatos music (just not in my usual preffered genres) but I heard EAT ME recently and DAMN I've been listening to it every day. It's so good!! Also I hadn't heard about adopting she/her pronouns so I'd say Demi Lovatos relevance is based on talent and not gender lol. Also even if they weren't relevant, they're certainly more relevant than Paul and Morgan will ever be xD
I have a friend who keeps changing their pronouns from time to time... first he used she/her pronouns, then she/they pronouns, then all pronouns, then he/him, now they/he. Also, they look very very feminine. All of that doesn't change his gender 🤷🏻♀️ Also, not all trans people have/want surgeries...
Also, somewhat silly and unrelated, but I have a digital bird with a traditionally feminine name who uses they/them pronouns and gets misgendered all the time 😅 The reason I chose those pronouns is that gender is made up and I found the idea of assigning a gender to them has been weird to me because birds don't have genders. (Yes, I'm an "adult" who gets easily attached to people and things 😅)
And yes, I do identify as a cis woman, although I don't care what pronouns people use for me and gender is just generally a weird concept to me

The irony of Paul calling Demi "narcissistic" for exploring their pronouns when he and Morgan made an entire video about Demi's self exploration all about themselves 🤣🤣🤣
Things I need people to know about the Bible’s intended messages about non-binary people:
1. God created non-binary people before men and women. The first human in Genesis was an intersex, ungendered person, who was then separated into Adam and Eve. Hebrew is a gendered language, so because the term ‘person’ is masculine, translators took it to mean ‘man’. Also, Eve was most likely not created from Adam’s rib but his side, indicating they are equal halves of the same original being.
2. God is described as a mother figure, father figure, or both simultaneously at various points. For some examples, they have been described as a birth-giver, a protector, and a mother bear (which combines the role of ‘mother’ with masculine-coded traits of strength and danger). Also, because Hebrew is gendered, God’s masculine pronouns may have been originally understood as gender-neutral.
3. Rabbinic literature references tumtums several times, who are distinguished from men, women, and intersex people. Although they are not referenced in the Bible (as far as I know), they suggest that Israelite society had a social group for non-binary people at the time the Bible was written. If they were seen as unnatural or sinful, the Bible probably would have mentioned them as targets for condemnation.
I’m not Christian, I just like studying ancient mythologies/religions, but I want Christian enbies to know that their gender is not contradictory to the Bible. I wish people like Paul and Morgan actually cared about analyzing religious texts in their original context, instead of mindlessly regurgitating the bias of older translations.
NO. GOD CREATED ONLY MALE AND FEMALE. THERE IS NO PROOF OF INTERSEX PEOPLE ON THE BIBLE AND HISTORIC RECORDS.
Thank you for this , it’s so important to understand things like this …. Love how you say your not Christian yet you have more understanding of the Bible than Paul and Morgan !!!
Wow
Thats cool to know that 😁
I have a hard time believing this when the Bible said that god created man, he was named Adam, if the Bible never mentioned Adam until after Eve was take from his rib I would be more inclined to believe this but it doesn’t. I would really appreciate a source if you’re going to say stuff like this.
@@jasonpickles2576 Adam isn’t actually named in the Bible until after they leave Eden (in the original Hebrew at least). The name is derived from the word used for the first human, ‘adam (meaning ‘person’), but that doesn’t mean that Adam = ‘adam. My information comes from chapter 2 of Carol Meyer’s book, “Rediscovering Eve: Ancient Israelite Women in Context”, and I can provide sources for my other points if you want. Genesis can be interpreted differently because we can never know for certain what the original authors’ intentions were, but it’s important to know that this interpretation exists and has legit evidence behind it.

When I was younger. I did question my gender identity because I didn't feel like a girl only to realize that it was due to some of the people of my community trying to force me into a stereotypical box of wearing makeup, wearing really feminine clothes, & dating only guys. Once I embraced myself I realized I was perfectly happy being a bi woman who dresses in graphic tees, pants or short, & either tennis shoes or boots. And if I need to dress up a bit I'm more comfortable in a gothic style button shirt, pants, & boots then a dress & heels or flats. This is why we need to let people explore & find themselves rather then trying to force them into stereotypical gender roles so people do have to feel pressured to be something they're not

@Ville you were being mean, you can be honest AND mean. if you don't have anything nice to say keep it to yourself. learn to work through your own insecurities before projecting onto other people.
Morgan is a she. Paul is a he. And not everybody needs to be! They/them just completes the “we”.
Just because Paul and Morgan are the perfect cisgender heteronormative couple does not mean that everybody else can’t exist. Us as human beings are complex and have different brains and emotions that vary not just by person, but by day, week, month and year. If somebody wants to use multiple sets of pronouns, what’s the issue? Is it physically harming you? Is it spanking your child or burning your mother alive?
No?? Then shut up.
THERE ARE ONLY 2 GENDERS. IT IS NOT OKAY FOR PEOPLE OTHER THAN CISGENDERS TO EXIST SINCE THEY WILL TELL CHILDREN THAT IT IS OKAY TO BE AN ANIMAL OR WHATEVER.
I IDENTIFY AS AN ATTACK HELICOPTER LOL
I find it amusing that he uses a "biblical mandate" as a reason to not respect people's pronouns. The bible also says that tattoos are bad (Leviticus 19:28), yet his wife has tattoos?
Paul really said pronouns are too hard after dropping flabbergasted in the previous sentence
He learned a new vocabulary word that week
I think it’s important to note that people use they/them pronouns when talking about one person like all the time. ESPECIALLY if you don’t know what gender the person is when they’re brought up (for example: my friend has a significant other, and they are about to have a birthday) like. Guys it’s only confusing because you aren’t using your big boi brains
I’ve been using they/them pronouns for 2 years now and really guys it’s not that hard at all
@Ville Literally nobody asked
@Ville clearly they are not, so like... No, you're just so obviously wrong and probably should just stop drinking water permanently
@@hlynurelli Do not talk with them.
Just report and move on.
They seem like the type of people who say “smashed avocado” instead of Guacamole lmao
@Ville Mexico is amazing
I remember watching Demi Lovato in their Disney Channel Era. You cannot tell me ‘Camp Rock’ and ‘Sonny with a Chance’ are not iconic.
Good for Demi if she found out more about herself! (I'm now going to listen to their songs, you've intrigued me. I'm not really up to date with Demi.)
I don't get it. Native English speakers can't tell me, pronouns are hard to understand. That was one of the easier things while learning English.
Those two would be so shocked if they saw my life. I've switched quite a lot.
from female with she/her to momentarily wishing to be male (I'm not trans, but for a few months when I came into the queer community, I thought I might be, because I just didn't want to be female) and going by he/him. To identifying as non-binary with they/them and then identifying as agender with they/them. And I recently updated it again, any pronoun is fine with me!
I really wish to be both, with both sets of genitals and all. But I guess I need more money to make this happen. Maybe one day I get the missing piece. Until then, I'm simply neither.
I kinda collected all the A's for me.
Atheist
Agender
Any Pronouns
Aego Aro Ace
I like it.
you've got even more A's than me! love that for you. I've got atheist, aro, ace, and agender!
@@ace.of.space. Haha nice!
I also have all those! And my name starts with A, as well
i will never understand how these type of people expect lgbtq+ people to just “find god” like there aren’t religious people in the community and if they aren’t, they probably grew up in a religious household and didn’t feel welcome in that religion anymore because they couldn’t be who they are. like ,,, all we ask is to be respected and they act like we’re asking them to chew off their own toes. it’s not that hard. i have religious trauma and i can still respect christianity.
@Ville sounds like projection. are you okay?
I have news for him, during the 80’s and 90’s, rock bands wore nail polish and had long hair. Some wore makeup. The ones in the US, anyway. They were not trans. No one cared, heck , there fans did too.
I have a feeling Paul slept through English class more than once.
Grammatically, They/them is both plural and singular. They have been used in both ways since BEFORE the plural You. I always find it puzzling when people have NO issue with you being both plural and singular without confusion, but They/them is somehow a line too far despite books like the BIBLE using singular They.
I love how you ramble about stuff you're passionate about because I'm just like that myself❤
Morgan: Demi who? Lol is she even relivant?
Morgan a few seconds later: She's so dangerous because of her huge influence!
Pick one, lady; also, influencing people to respect each other with the bare minimum- grammar- is soooo scary, you guys, these two are shooketh!
DEMI LOVATO IS A FLOP AND YOU PEOPLE ARE A DISEASE
I love how the far-right type call us "snowflakes" yet they melt down at pronouns, short 1-4 words xD
paul & morgan: *attacks demi*
me: 😠😤
paul & morgan: *attacks halsey*
me: 😡🤬
they mentioned halsey and my eyes flashed red. had to take deep breaths and try to keep it composed.
I'm a femme nonbinary woman who exclusively uses she/her pronouns. That doesn't make me any less nonbinary. It's about how I feel on the inside!
I'm glad I've successfully tricked you into thinking I'm a woman. Thank you for helping to affirm my gender.
Christian here! We're sorry for the stupid part of our fandom. God loves everyone, plus he gave you gender so you might as well fuck around with it, have fun, love and forgive, take care. Good night
something about christianity being called a fandom is so incredibly funny to me and i cannot explain it
Everytime I'm reminded Morgan exists, I just want to pray for her. She was so amazing and then FREAKING NARCISSIST PAUL came into her life and dimmed her light to mold her into who he wanted her to be.
What was she like before they met
These two must refer to multiple people in second person as "yous", because "you" is for a single person, and clearly a pronoun cannot be both singular and plural
I feel like the ‘celebrity’ part is also relevant for the gay community. I’m old (relatively speaking - I’m 33) and I’m currently a married fem lesbian, and my wife looks like Justin Bieber and will sometimes go by they/them but predominantly just uses she/her with people who’ve known her longterm. Anyway to make a long story short, I knew I was attracted to girls but I’d never seen a lesbian who looked like me and had been rejected by a lesbian crush who thought I was just attention-seeking which caused me to regress. HOWEVER, when I saw the show ‘South of Nowhere’ (which aired after Degrassi in its earlier seasons) and saw fem lesbians, it made me REALIZE I was gay. It didn’t MAKE ME gay. I finally saw myself represented in the media and finally understood myself. I was 16 years old - that’s when you’re supposed to be figuring stuff like that out. I never ‘de-gayed’ - clearly - as I’m now married to a woman and have been for 7 years. So no, it didn’t brainwash my poor young brain, it HELPED me realize I wasn’t weird because I liked girls yet still loved makeup and high heels and long hairstyles and dresses and fake eyelashes etc etc etc.
Sorry, it’s 7am and I haven’t been to bed yet and I could’ve worded this better but I’m falling asleep as I type and I couldn’t lay down without trying to get my thoughts out about this subject. Paul and Morgan are in no position to be ‘educating’ anyone about gender or sexuality and can have several seats and get over their weird obsession with the LGBTQ+ community, especially as our lives don’t affect them at all, whatsoever.
this is very much beside the point but whatever you can say about demi as a person, they are SO FUCKING TALENTED holy shit dude, I'm forever in awe of their vocals
I find it so funny that Paul rants about how weird it'd be for him to present feminine while his wife (?) presents more masculine than he does
Something Paul said pinpointed the "talking past each other spot" for me. He was going on about how, if he wore pigtails and dresses, etc, he'd eventually become trans, which I think he honestly believes since it explains a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if it was common for people frightened by pronouns to believe that actions create feelings, vs. people OK with pronouns believing that feelings create actions. It's no wonder we can argue for hours without ever grasping the others' point.
To anyone who's been hurt by the church/religion or just needs to hear it, God loves you! If you don't believe I absolutely respect that but if you've pushed away your faith because of the hate spread by some "Christians", just know love and truth are everything and as long as you're honest with yourself and God and live your life with love, you're doing it right!
Love your post Ray because it’s so true, God loves us no matter what pronouns we use …
And especially thank you for making the point about ‘other Christians’ hurting people… I was hurt by people like that but always knew God loved me …
Hail Satan, sweetie.
Go stink up somewhere else with your cult stuff.
My youngest sibling came out as non-binary and its confusing using they/them
not because of the pronouns
because I've known them for 15 years under completely different pronouns and still use them out of habit sometimes
(They dont care when its a messup cause its not intentional and they get that its rough as their older brother)
i can safely say i wasn’t expecting them to actually use the word ‘flabbergasted’
I'm not a native speaker and even I can understand and easily use the single they/them. I don't get what's supposed to be so hard or confusing about it. I also wish my native language (german) would have an option like that for all of those who don't identify with the binary.
Nah I blame RUclips algorithm for you not getting as many views, I think your videos are great and I think all of us agree
"You could put on dresses and paint your nails, but you don't want to do that"
You know, from the way he was talking about it it kinda sounds like he DOES want to do that.
Non-binary people who speak only English likely don't know how lucky they are... I live in a country whose main language has no gender-neutral terms such as pronouns, verbs and numbers (yes, in some languages EVEN NUMBERS have different spelling and pronunciation depending on the sex of the subject!). I came out as non-binary over two years ago, but I still have to speak and be spoken of as male (unless I'm speaking English). I have a close friend who's also NB, and ey decided to introduce emselves as someone of the opposite sex, because ey noticed that results in about half the people talking to em with male terms and the other half in female terms, so it evens out. Meanwhile in English I can write the previous sentence about my friend without giving any indication of what biological sex ey was born with!
BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY 2 GENDERS. STOP CREATING UNNECCESSARY PROBLEMS FOR PEOPLE AND YOURSELF OFF THIS IMAGINARY GENDER THING!!
☹️
@@TrollDecker yea be sad because your mom birthed you
Tell me about it. In my language, there are no neutral third person pronouns. The neutral grammatical gender is only reserved for objects and in Romanian (my mother tongue), it goes likes this: "un creion" (we use the masculine form when we refer to a single object of neutral gender, in this case "a pencil") - "două creioane" (we use the feminine form when we refer to more than one object of neutral gender, in this case "two pencils").
Was anyone else amused that this couple was arguing that "Demi's pronouns must be she/her because she's a woman", but Paul then called Demi an actor not an actress...
I decided to adopt she/they pronouns because I (AFAB) feel very fluid on the feminine to masculine spectrum. I also feel mostly just human than anything else. I consider myself to be a librawoman (meaning mostly agender but partially woman) as a microlabel but broadly speaking I'm just genderqueer. 🥰
Vera Wylde is genderfluid. She uses she/they. I don't get why people are so confused about this.
THOU FAIR QUEER KIWI. I MUST SAY THAT YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY DROP DEAD GORGEOUS TODAY AND YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF. (Also, please make sure that you are drinking water and eating some good food! Stay safe
12:05 It’s ‘androgyny’.
14:14 SOMEONE SAID IT. YES. This is one of the biggest things I struggle with as a writer. Which drives me insane, bc it’s such a small detail, but it can completely derail a sentence/paragraph SO FRICKEN’ EASILY. AAACK.
I actually tend to use characters w multiple pronouns to my advantage here by using smth different to whatever other character they’re sharing the spotlight with. E.g. If one goes by he/him and another goes by any, I’ll use more she/they and when around a they/them I’ll emphasize the he/her, etc. Makes life so much easier.
“I dOn’T hAvE pRoNoUns”
BRUH EVERYONE DOES GET OVER IT
Omg… HE USED I!! HE USE PRONOUND! OMG!!!
“I’ve never questioned my gender”
You lucky duck :’j
Omg, the whole time I watched this, listening to paul and morgan pained me
Also, if you don’t mind me asking, where’s the wolf plush in the back from?
Wow I crammed like three comments into one
